I have used the Laurels Nursery School since my daughter was only 12 months old and they have been fantastic. She learns so much and the love and attention they show my daughter is wonderful. She has some difficulties which are consistently monitored and I look forward to the pictures and updates I receive. She has become a loving, playful child who shares and plays alongside others. She has a fantastic nutritional diet that is homecooked every day and she loves it. She does a lot of biscuit and cake making most weeks which she thinks is great and loves tasting her homemade pizzas! The staff of caring, kind and most of all patient and knowledgeable which makes me leaving my daughter that little bit easier. If your looking for a great nursery......this one is fab!

Returning to work leaving your new baby is one of the hardest things. The Laurels made this transition more comfortable for us and our daughter. With a milk protein allergy the Laurels managed amazingly (fair to say better than us!) creating food always fresh, homemade and delicious, nothing is ever too much trouble. Staff have nurtured and educated our daughter to a high standard. She has also made lovely friends who she talks of often. The setting itself is a great space. The variety of activities, toys and outside play fantastic with 'messy play' and baking firm favourites! The nursery acknowledges, teaches and celebrates a diverse range of cultures and festivals, our daughter often teaches us many new things! With potty training, the nursery was fabulous and definitely helped to get us through this stage without too much drama! So supportive, really knowing our daughter and playing a significant role in making her into the fun, loving, happy, clever little lady she is. Thank you!

My son joined the laurels for one day a week from 9 months old. From day one I have had no concerns as he settled so well. All staff members know him and staff working in his room have been nothing but wonderful... classroom activities are fun, varied and educational. The food is great, nutritional and relevant for my son's age. I have no problems with dropping him off, sometimes I don't even get a goodbye. My son is very happy, settled and well looked after by all staff at the laurels and I would highly recommend this nursery.

I have had both of my children attend the Laurels over the last 7 years. One is currently still there. The staff are fantastic, they can't do enough to ensure that your child is well cared for and happy.
The food on offer is of a great variety and my little one is always wanting seconds. The wide range of activities on offer makes for a very successful experience.
Nothing ever seems like too much for the staff and there is always somebody on hand should there be any concerns. I have always found the communication excellent.
The rooms are nicely decorated with lots of children's artwork on display and the outdoor space is a big bonus.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend based on my experience and when my little one leaves to go to school this summer it will be a sad farewell to The Laurels.

A fantastic nursery that demonstrates an excellent level of childcare and interaction. The staff are wonderful, very pleasant and always seem happy which I believe is a great sign of good leadership and job satisfaction.

Both of my children have attended this nursery (one still does) and it will always remain my 1st choice and one which I would thoroughly recommend.

This nursery is excellent. My little boy has progressed from the toddler room to the pre-school effortlessly with the thorough care and attention from the staff.
The toddler room had plenty of playing, reading, singing, dancing and quiet time/sleep spaces. It was exactly what he needed at 2 years old.
Now he is in pre-school and the teachers are working with me to get him 'school ready' while he still has plenty of fun.

Lovely home cooked dinners with truly caring ladies, make this the best place for him to be when he's not home.

Brilliant nursery. We were new to the area and after reading the reviews and a very comprehensive and excellent tour by the nursery manager, we decided this was the perfect setting for our 18 month old to attend.
He absolutely loves it, he has settled in really quickly and the staff are simply excellent, attentive, caring, friendly and very professional.
Really informative nursery and there is always lots of varied activities throughout the week with different themes and celebrations etc.
He simply loves the food and always has seconds when he can sneak it in.

We would definitely recommend this nursery every time.

Help with my child that requires extra care and attention.
Always smiling staff.

Unfortunately, they are not adaptable to changes under the new ownership.

This nursery is a home away from home for my child. The nursery is a warm friendly environment and all the children are encouraged to be inclusive and kind to each other.

They are quick to jump on any incidents and rather than be accusatory will work with parents to deal with any issues.

Whilst the facilities are all fantastic it is the caring, united and professional stance of the staff that really make the nursery a great place.
I have two children here, they learn so much and have made so many little friends and built good relationships with their carers, it is always reassuring to know that they are in safe hands whenever I drop them off.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We couldn't be happier with the nursery and each and every staff member involved with our sons' care. Each day our son is just as happy to come to nursery as he is to see us at the end of the day. Despite bad experiences with other childcare providers, I would certainly not hesitate in recommending the nursery to anyone.

We have been using the Laurels Nursery for a number of years now. Our daughter is now in her third year of School and attended the Laurels aged 12 months to 4 and a half years old and our son has been there since 12 months old and will be leaving this Summer to start school. We understand that our children are growing up, but we're a bit sad that they're moving on from the Laurels!

Over the years, our children have been really well looked after and their experience of Nursery/Pre-school has been fantastic. The setting is fully equipped with lovely toys, facilities and a large outside space. The staff are amazing and bond well with the children and by the time they leave the Coach House, they are ready for school! Special mention must go to the Nursery Chef. She does an amazing job feeding all of the children and both of mine always used to have seconds!!

I would definitely recommend this Nursery.

My eldest child started at The Laurels when he was about 3 years old. When it was time for him to leave to join the "big children" at school, I felt that he was well prepared and that the nursery had provided a solid foundation for the next stage in his life. So I didn't hesitate in enrolling my youngest child at the very young age of 4 months. All staff are extremely professional, friendly and approachable, from carers to the cook or cleaning lady. Well done to all! My children have always felt happy and safe and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

My son loves going to nursery. The staff are really friendly and they do so many different activities with the children. They keep you up to date with everything that is going on and I believe, they have really helped with my son's progression. It's a brilliant nursery.

Both my son and daughter have attended The Laurels Nursery and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone seeking a nursery placement. A great stepping stone towards school, kind and caring and both my children built great bonds with a number of the carers. Very reassuring when working full time.

My little boy has been going to The Laurels for over a year and the difference in him is amazing. His speech is just incredible, he has started to eat more and he has become very sociable! The staff are very professional but also very encouraging, my little one thinks the world of them. If there is an issue they try very hard to accommodate you. The security is to a high standard as in the cleanliness. Very impressed with this nursery and could not recommend it more!

Excellent Day Nursery. Staff are always very polite and helpful, regardless of the numerous phone calls made to them to check on my child :)

The Nursery Manager is great along with others who my son adores! I would definitely recommend The Laurels Nursery.

I was recommended The Laurels nursery by several parents in the area and I'm really pleased they did. My son has gained so much from going here. The staff are lovely, each day they plan varied and exciting activities for the children. My son eats a range of different home cooked food across the week, and eats the lot! The nursery is very good at keeping parents informed, about how your child is doing but also what is going on in the Nursery.

Sending my son to the nursery was a really big decision for me but I'm so pleased I sent him here. The Laurels is definitely a key part in helping him develop into a sociable, confident, inquisitive little boy.

We viewed a couple of other nurseries before visiting The Laurels Nursery School but the moment we walk through the door we got a good feeling. The atmosphere is wonderful- fun, friendly and inviting yet calm and organised. Management are warm and really know the children. The rooms have space for children to roam and be creative and are decorated with their creations. There's plenty of outside space too. My little one struggled to leave me at first but soon settled and now cries when her key worker leaves- trust me this is a good sign and shows me how quickly she's bonded- wonderful staff!
