With five well-equipped playrooms and a large garden featuring a mud kitchen, growing space, and climbing area, the nursery supports all areas of Early Years development. The curriculum embraces the Hygge and Curiosity Approaches, with activities such as yoga, Make and Bake, Sing and Sign, and Sow and Grow.

An on-site chef prepares healthy, balanced meals that cater to all dietary needs. Families stay connected through the nursery app, parents’ evenings, and stay-and-play events. The experienced team, including trained SENCo staff, ensures every child feels safe, supported, and celebrated.

Our little boy has settled into nursery and absolutely loves it. He loves the different activities and the different experiences but mostly he loves the staff! The home-from-home feel and the amazing care and attention shown by all staff really make The Laurels stand out for us.

The Laurels Nursery School is a wonderful place! They are so accommodating and caring. Always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble.
Real care is taken to ensure our child's needs are met and he thoroughly enjoys attending.
We have watched his skills develop and improve and his confidence
grow.
It's wonderful to know he truly is cared for by the team!

Our child has been attending this nursery since January and we would highly recommend it, she is happy and settled. She is always happy to see the staff who all fuss her and know her by name. The staff are extremely friendly, supportive and caring. They do a range of fun activities with the children
and keep us well-updated throughout the day. Our little one has developed a lot since attending nursery. She often comes home having learnt new skills in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Well-managed nursery. Outdoor activities are poor. Had a few issues with communication. My daughter is happy here and enjoys going. Have attended two parents' evenings both pointless, with no extra details or structure.

My review stems from my daughter's start date in September 2021 to date, our experience has been nothing but good, the staff are super friendly and approachable, you can ask for support or advice from them on any issue and they will give you some good information that you can use, or not, but everything
we have had has been nothing but useful. Our daughter has been thriving since starting nursery and we wouldn’t place her anywhere else. The actual building is a lovely, clean and warm environment and the entire establishment takes child rearing seriously with activities that will not only be fun for the kids but also educational in one fashion or another. We wouldn't be without The Laurels Nursery School. The only feedback I have is the choice of breakfasts it does feel like the same meal every day, weetabix and toast I’d love to see more variation but otherwise absolutely amazing place.

The staff are exceptional in making sure the children settle and feel happy. Their safeguarding awareness is very good. I was always informed and aware of everything going on at the nursery and with my children.

The Laurels is a wonderful nursery and I would definitely recommend it! Our son attended since he was one and had the most amazing time there, the staff are so caring and supportive and always have time to tell you about their day. We always felt welcome and our little one was always excited to go to

I have nothing but good things to say about this nursery. My son attended here since he was 1 year old and started school this September. He loved coming to nursery. He knew all of the staff by name and was always happy when arriving and being collected. My daughter is also attending currently and loves
to go to nursery. She has been here since she was 9 months old and will continue here till she leaves for big school. She also is happy to go and knows all the staff too. The staff are absolutely brilliant and the different things they do with the children are great. The food has improved 100% and there is so much variety throughout the week on the menu which has helped my daughter, especially as she was always a very fussy eater but now will try anything. I would recommend the Laurels to anyone - they are friendly, professional and approachable. I know I can leave my children in their capable hands and they will be well looked after. Thank you for being amazing!

The staff in the Coach House that looked after my son were some of the kindest people I have met. They have shown nothing but care, compassion and understanding for my son and his development because of these staff, has been amazing. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their children
to be cared for as if they are family.

My 1-year-old started 3 days a week at the Laurels in February 2022. Quite frankly she absolutely loves it! The crying of not wanting to go lasted about a week and now we put her coat on and she is bouncing at the door waiting to leave the house to go. The staff are great with her and have made her
feel right at home and comfortable being with them. Would definitely recommend it to a new mum/dad.

My daughter has recently started here after many recommendations from friends. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. This is our first nursery experience and we feel no question is a stupid question and feel so involved in our daughter's care. Very impressed with the activities offered, space available,

This nursery is exceptional and outstanding in its unique tailored approach to each child. They are kind, open, honest, empathic, diligent and responsible. They have become part of a network almost like a family in supporting our child. We cannot imagine that you would do better than this in any other
nursery. Our son adores his carers there and they have encouraged him to forge charming relationships with the other children. He is thriving in the care of this nursery. Some people see a nursery as a place to accommodate their child when they are unavailable due to work or other commitments. I see this nursery as a key place for education and development of our much loved and much wanted and much waited for son.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, my daughter is very clingy and was very shy around other adults, within 4 weeks of being at The Laurels she no longer cries at pick up or drop off and doesn’t cry around other adults! She’s come out of her shell completely thanks to the lovely ladies in the 0-2 years room

Our daughter started attending The Laurels in January 2022 and we couldn’t be more pleased with how things are going. We really feel that the brilliant teachers in her classroom know her well and the communication through the parents' app is regular and very reassuring, particularly when she first started
- it’s exactly what you need to see on your breaks at work in those first few weeks! Thank you so so much to the staff. My daughter loves coming to nursery and it’s all thanks to you! It was also so lovely and reassuring for us as parents to attend the 25th Celebration on Saturday and hear so many of the other staff talk to her and know her name. We wouldn’t expect that when she isn’t in their classroom/it being a big nursery so that was yet another thing that made us love it even more! Thank you all.

Natasha has enjoyed working within a nursery setting since 2008, starting her career as a student and progressing up the ranks to Nursery Manager. She is Level 3 qualified, the Designated Safeguarding Officer and Paediatric First Aid trained.
