The Laurels Nursery School

Fantastic care. We could not be more pleased with the all-around care. Our child started at only 5 months and staff were brilliant at tailoring her care to her needs.

My little girl has been attending The Laurels for 6 months now and we have been thrilled with her progress so far. She loves coming to nursery and we struggle to get her home sometimes in the evenings! The staff have been wonderful with her and we love seeing the relationships she has formed with her key workers. We are so happy we found The Laurels - thank you for everything!

My daughter has been going to the preschool for just under a year, we moved to The Laurels Nursery School after having problems at a different preschool. My daughter loves going to 'school' and has made some lovely friends. She enjoys taking part in all the activities available and loves bringing home all her artwork. My daughter has come on a lot while at The Laurels Nursery School and is even trying lots of new foods thanks to the meals provided. The staff are great and very approachable. We have also enjoyed being able to participate in the little party afternoons that the preschool has put on for the parents to join their children and see what they get up to at preschool.

Amazing nursery, my little boy is so excited every time it's time to go into nursery. Very professional and informative about what he's getting up to and eating at the nursery. All staff are very friendly and welcoming each and every time we arrive.

Our little boy has settled into nursery and absolutely loves it. He loves the different activities and the different experiences but mostly he loves the staff! The home-from-home feel and the amazing care and attention shown by all staff really make The Laurels stand out for us.

Our child has been attending this nursery since January and we would highly recommend it, she is happy and settled. She is always happy to see the staff who all fuss her and know her by name. The staff are extremely friendly, supportive and caring. They do a range of fun activities with the children and keep us well-updated throughout the day. Our little one has developed a lot since attending nursery. She often comes home having learnt new skills in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

Well-managed nursery. Outdoor activities are poor. Had a few issues with communication. My daughter is happy here and enjoys going. Have attended two parents' evenings both pointless, with no extra details or structure.

Great nursery really friendly staff always kept well informed. Son now loves going there and has great relationships with the staff. Does a range of activities and always comes home with different crafts.

My review stems from my daughter's start date in September 2021 to date, our experience has been nothing but good, the staff are super friendly and approachable, you can ask for support or advice from them on any issue and they will give you some good information that you can use, or not, but everything we have had has been nothing but useful. Our daughter has been thriving since starting nursery and we wouldn’t place her anywhere else. The actual building is a lovely, clean and warm environment and the entire establishment takes child rearing seriously with activities that will not only be fun for the kids but also educational in one fashion or another. We wouldn't be without The Laurels Nursery School. The only feedback I have is the choice of breakfasts it does feel like the same meal every day, weetabix and toast I’d love to see more variation but otherwise absolutely amazing place.

I have nothing but good things to say about this nursery. My son attended here since he was 1 year old and started school this September. He loved coming to nursery. He knew all of the staff by name and was always happy when arriving and being collected. My daughter is also attending currently and loves to go to nursery. She has been here since she was 9 months old and will continue here till she leaves for big school. She also is happy to go and knows all the staff too. The staff are absolutely brilliant and the different things they do with the children are great. The food has improved 100% and there is so much variety throughout the week on the menu which has helped my daughter, especially as she was always a very fussy eater but now will try anything. I would recommend the Laurels to anyone - they are friendly, professional and approachable. I know I can leave my children in their capable hands and they will be well looked after. Thank you for being amazing!

The Laurels is a wonderful nursery and I would definitely recommend it! Our son attended since he was one and had the most amazing time there, the staff are so caring and supportive and always have time to tell you about their day. We always felt welcome and our little one was always excited to go to nursery. He left very ready for school, thanks to all of the hard work of the staff! Overall, a lovely nursery with great communication and lots of fun and learning for little ones.

The staff are exceptional in making sure the children settle and feel happy. Their safeguarding awareness is very good. I was always informed and aware of everything going on at the nursery and with my children.

The staff in the Coach House that looked after my son were some of the kindest people I have met. They have shown nothing but care, compassion and understanding for my son and his development because of these staff, has been amazing. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their children to be cared for as if they are family.

The Laurels have been amazing with my son and brought him on leaps and bounds. My son loves going to nursery and I never worry about leaving him and he loves all the staff there they cannot do enough.

My 1-year-old started 3 days a week at the Laurels in February 2022. Quite frankly she absolutely loves it! The crying of not wanting to go lasted about a week and now we put her coat on and she is bouncing at the door waiting to leave the house to go. The staff are great with her and have made her feel right at home and comfortable being with them. Would definitely recommend it to a new mum/dad.

My child has settled in extremely well, he loves going and always comes out happy. There is great communication between the staff and myself and I feel I am kept up to date all of the time. Couldn’t ask for anymore I’m extremely happy that we made the decision to send my child to The Laurels and want to thank every single one of the staff for their help, support and communication. Amazing!

The Laurels Nursery provides my daughter with an excellent environment to learn and play and the staff are fantastic at nurturing her and looking after all her needs. I can recommend the nursery to any parent considering where to send their child.

My daughter has recently started here after many recommendations from friends. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. This is our first nursery experience and we feel no question is a stupid question and feel so involved in our daughter's care. Very impressed with the activities offered, space available, variety of food choices and extra events held for families to attend.
