The Laurels Nursery has been very supportive with our son. When he moved classrooms he really struggled with the transition, the staff were very patient with him and did all they could to make him feel more comfortable with going into the classroom, this worked and he soon ran in every morning
without a care in the world. They also went above and beyond when I was unable to climb the stairs to his room. They collected him from the front door and were very understanding regarding our families situation.

Never had any issues. All the staff are all super welcoming, friendly and great with the kids. They always have fun and new activities for the children and nutritious meals are always on the menu. :-)

My son attends this nursery three days a week, and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child, taking the time to understand his personality and what helps him feel settled. The activities are varied, creative, and
age-appropriate, and we've seen real growth in his confidence, communication, and independence. Communication from the team is always friendly and clear, which gives us so much reassurance.
The environment is bright, clean, and thoughtfully organised, with inviting spaces that encourage exploration and play. It's obvious how much care goes into creating a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this nursery and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a caring, enriching place for their child.

You guys deserve all the credit for the amazing work you do!
From the moment we were first shown around the Nursery to now, I have been extremely impressed by the dedication, commitment and professionalism of all the staff.
I know my son has the best time there and it's evident by how excited he
is to go to nursery!

My little boys been at the Laurels since he was 10 months old. He is leaving this year to go to school and he is such a happy, confident and friendly boy, it's all down to the staff who have looked after him since he's been there. Mopped up the tears, enjoyed the cuddles, calmed down the tantrums
and strops. Honestly the team have been incredible for my boy and we are so glad we picked the Laurels. It's home from home which is exactly what I wanted.
The management have been incredible, everyone is approachable and no concern is dismissed. The reassurance we have received time and time again is second to none.

Best nursery the staff are great especially the coach house. I'll be sad to see my daughter leave in Aug.
My daughter has been here since she was one and has grew with all the staff. They really are the best.

My son has been attending The Laurels since he was 10 months old and has progressed through all the rooms, right up to his current placement in the Pre-School. Throughout his time there, we have been thoroughly impressed with The Laurels as a whole. While there have been standout members of staff in
each room, the standard of care has been consistently fantastic across the entire team.
The Laurels has provided a safe, fun, and educational environment at every stage. The staff, especially the management and the SEND team, have been phenomenal in their support whenever any issues have arisen. These have always been approached in an appropriate manner, with a clear focus on providing the best support for the child.
My son is due to leave for school in September, and it will be sad to say goodbye to the nursery and its wonderful staff, who have been such an important part of his life over the past three years.

My daughter attends the Laurels nursery 4 mornings a week and absolutely loves it. She has built great relationships with all staff members and regularly talks about the adults and children at home.
She has learnt so many important life skills whilst attending the nursery and is becoming much
more confident.

Both my children go to The Laurels in Queniborough. They both love it. The staff are so caring and always really enthusiastic. There are so many staff that have looked after my two, but especially 5 of them in particular. The garden is currently being refurbished, which does limit parking and
outdoor play, but looking forward to seeing it completed. If I ever have any worries or concerns about how my children are, the staff are really empathetic and always respond to my messages and phone calls quickly to reassure me.

The level of care given to our little girl is fantastic. She recently made the transition to a new class and this was handled so well by all staff. She settled in quickly, thanks to the care of staff in both classes.

Extremely happy, warm and caring staff. Really helped my child settle in even though it took her a few months. Always informed us of any concerns they have. Always were very positive and professional.
Would love it if trips out of nursery eg: farm visits etc.
More outdoor learning rather than
just playing outside eg: planting etc. It probs already happened but I've not come across it.

General care of my child is great, my child enjoys attending nursery. The area I think the nursery could improve is the handover of the children at the end of the day. Some of the staff seem to give very minimal feedback. As a parent, what my child has been doing throughout the day is very important
to me. Just a brief overview of the main activities they have been doing would be really helpful in order to connect with my child at the end of the day. When I ask my child what they have been doing they always reply with ‘I Dont know’ (I'm sure many parents receive the same response). So if we know and can ask them more specific questions we can have more meaningful conversations with them about their day.

Our child’s key workers have been so gentle and considerate with helping to settle in to the nursery. In only a few weeks, our child has gone from being upset most days, to thriving in his setting and exploring new activities.

Couldn’t praise all the staff enough at The Laurels, they are all amazing with my 3-year-old and 6-month-old who both attend the setting. There are always different activities for the children and I believe they learn so much. The food choices especially at lunch time are brilliant and I always know
my fussy toddler is going to eat well. I recommend this nursery to many others.

The staff are amazing with my son, they know his personality and what he does/does not like and accommodate this. He is always extremely happy when I pick him up and loves to tell me about his day. He starts full-time school this year and I will be so sad to see him leave the Laurels.

My son has been at the Laurels for around 9 months and he absolutely loves it. His carers are the best, they're so friendly and attentive toward us all. I can see my son's confidence and development continuing to improve.

Really organised, genuinely lovely and empathetic staff who have helped our boy settle so well aged 2. A very family feel establishment. Very attentive with his food as he suffers from a food allergy and this was our biggest concern but we’ve had no accidents. Would love to see a more developed
outdoor space with mud kitchens and play equipment - I think there are plans for this. Otherwise, we are so happy and couldn’t recommend this lovely nursery enough.

Fantastic nursery. My son has been going since he was 9 months (he is now 2 1/2) and the care has been second to none. Staff are attentive, we are kept really well up to date on what is going on (through the app) and the environment is a great space for the children to flourish.

The Laurel is a great childcare setting. Our child has thrived since being there. He is always happy to be there and he has a great relationship with his carers. Highly recommend.

Amazing nursery - all the girls are amazing. The rooms are so clean and our child has an amazing bond with all the girls who always accommodate him when he is unsure and slightly difficult.
