Emscote Day Nursery is a warm and friendly day nursery located in Leamington Spa.

Highly trained practitioners support learning through structured and free play activities designed in line with EYFS principles.

Emscote Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of ‘The Guitar Man’ who comes to sing alternative nursery rhymes with the Butterflies and Preschool rooms every Wednesday morning from 10-11am.

Emscote offers a fully inclusive package, open from 7.30-6.30 aiming to provide a convenient service to parents.

Our daughter has flourished at Emscote House. She has loved all of the key workers and staff who have looked after her. The staff are lovely, we would put our second daughter in at the nursery if the location continued to be convenient. The nursery has the best garden for outdoor play. We are happy
for our daughter to be taking away all the lovely memories she has had there. The parents are also very nice and my daughter has great friends and gets invited to lots of parties.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time at Emscote. The staff are very caring and really get to know the children. My daughter has made some great friends and has grown in confidence and she is ready to start school in September. Both of my children went to Emscote and I would highly recommend it as

Our two children love their time in Emscote House. They both started at ten months and my eldest is now three and a half.
The staff are friendly and approachable and know our little ones well. The nursery is clean and a wonderful environment for the children. We feel happy to leave them with such caring

Our son has been in Emscote House since he was 9 months old. We have seen him flourish in this time. The staff took into consideration feedback from parents. The key improvements have been changing the rooms around so that toddlers have better access to the toilets for potty training. As far as learning
in the pre-school room goes, our son was well prepared for primary school life. He is ahead of his year with regards to reading. Thank you to the ladies in Ladybirds and all others for taking good care of him. Would prefer to see fruit as the only option after meals instead of pudding.
P.s would also be grateful for discounts for children who can't have dairy and bring their own meals in.

Our son absolutely loves Emscote House Day Nursery. The staff in each room are like a family and you always have the same people looking after them each day. Knowing they care about him so much and that he has a bond with them has made being a working mum so much easier. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

My son is thriving since he has started at Emscote House Day Nursery his confidence has grown so much and he really enjoys his time at the nursery.
All the staff in his room have made it so easy for him to settle at nursery and his initial reluctance for me to leave him did not last long he now gets
very excited as soon as he sees the nursery and waves me off happily.

We can't recommend this nursery highly enough. We were slightly anxious about our daughter starting nursery as she wasn't taking to a bottle, but after a few weeks she does so brilliantly and is also transitioning well to solids.
Our daughter loves the nursery and we are delighted by the kind, friendly
and professional staff that look after her.
We particularly like the updates we receive on her personal development and have been impressed by the levels of care, security and attention shown.

Very happy with the overall experience. Great learning opportunities for our daughter. The pre school team provide fun and interactive ways to learn and teach the children new things. They are a great team and one of the strongest out of the other teams we have experienced during our time there.
Overall
we would like to see more structural feedback at parents evenings - some have lacked facilitated discussion.
We have experienced a couple of instances where there has been a lack of communication in relation to key worker change/sickness.
Introductions to new key workers (even though 'just helping out') could be improved.

From start to finish, Emscote has provided a safe and supportive environment for our son.
He has flourished under the care of all the staff. We joined with a serious allergy and speech issues, both of which were understood and supported.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

Claire is the Manager of Emscote House Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector since 2005 - starting as an Apprentice straight out of college. Claire has numerous qualifications, including Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Education and an NVQ in Team Leading. Claire has worked for Childbase Partnership since 2012.


What is your favourite feature of the nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is the character and original features of the building, as well as the warm and engaging environment we create for the children.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of the home-from-home feel we as a team deliver each day, even though we are a big nursery, as well as how we have grown and developed over the years.
