Emscote Day Nursery is a warm and friendly day nursery located in Leamington Spa.

Highly trained practitioners support learning through structured and free play activities designed in line with EYFS principles.

Emscote Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of ‘The Guitar Man’ who comes to sing alternative nursery rhymes with the Butterflies and Preschool rooms every Wednesday morning from 10-11am.

Emscote offers a fully inclusive package, open from 7.30-6.30 aiming to provide a convenient service to parents.

My daughter started nursery with separation anxiety and was extremely shy. The staff helped her so much that a year later she is a confident toddler who looks forward to attending nursery. The staff have always helpe3d me with enquires from finance questions, day swaps, advice on behaviour and accommodating
food requirements.

My daughter has settled well into Emscote House and into Butterflies, has really come out of her shell and built good relationships with all staff including her key workers. Very happy with the service at Emscote.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. My daughter is in Ladybirds and is always doing fun activities and they seem to have fantastic resources. The management are really approachable and professional and always have a smile on there face.

The management team and staff are very welcoming, always thorough when giving feedback - as a first-time parent this makes you feel at ease.
The management team are always on show, very polite and will always try to make the effort to say hello and have a quick catch up!

We are very happy with Emscote House as our choice of nursery for our son. He has really flourished during his time. All the staff and specifically his key workers have engaged with him, understood his needs and built a relationship with him as a person. We feel that he is being well prepared for his
transition to school in September. He has always been happy at nursery and this is a true blessing. Emscote House and all the staff will be missed by both our son and us when he moves on. We would not hesitate to send another child to this nursery or to recommend it to our friends and family.

My daughter started attending Emscote Nursery from about 15 months old, she is now just over two years old and we are delighted to see the progression in her speech and communication and her development in terms of social skills and awareness of the world around her. We think all the practitioners are
all amazing and go out their way to make your child feel very special and cared for from the moment they are dropped off until they are collected.
My daughter is in her third room now and within just a few weeks of the change she is already able to undress herself and put on her shoes, leggings and coat; something I know they work on in her 'new' room.
She sings, chats and dances all the time. We think its a lot down to all the nursery rhymes she learns and being encouraged to perform by the staff at Emscote. It's lovely to see and hear!

My child attended Emscote House Day Nursery for 2 years from the age of 6 months old. The only reason my son left this nursery was because we moved house and it was too far to travel for him to continue going here.
But I can honestly say Emscote House Day Nursery is brilliant and I would recommend
this nursery to anybody who is looking for a nursery in Leamington or Warwick. The staff are all friendly, helpful and superb with the children but most of all the children are happy being there. P.s the place is like a second family.

The nursery, on the whole, is amazing. The staff are friendly and professional. In my experience, every child really does matter. Any concern I have raised, be it with keyworkers or management, it has always been dealt with efficiently and successfully. I feel my children are taught well and more importantly
really nurtured. We love it. The kids love it. Highly recommended.

Emscote House nursery has helped my son develop into a confident, social and happy child. He loves all the staff and openly shows them affection. We will both be sad to leave in September, it feels like losing part of the family, but hopefully one day we will be able to bring another child here and
be confident of outstanding childcare!

We've had excellent care and service from Emscote. My eldest has been in all the rooms - and has loved his time there. I've had no concerns or worries at all. He has come on so much in pre-school due to the amazing staff. My youngest has just started. He is loving nursery and learning lots.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

Claire is the Manager of Emscote House Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector since 2005 - starting as an Apprentice straight out of college. Claire has numerous qualifications, including Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Education and an NVQ in Team Leading. Claire has worked for Childbase Partnership since 2012.


What is your favourite feature of the nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is the character and original features of the building, as well as the warm and engaging environment we create for the children.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of the home-from-home feel we as a team deliver each day, even though we are a big nursery, as well as how we have grown and developed over the years.
