Emscote Day Nursery is a warm and friendly day nursery located in Leamington Spa.

Highly trained practitioners support learning through structured and free play activities designed in line with EYFS principles.

Emscote Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of ‘The Guitar Man’ who comes to sing alternative nursery rhymes with the Butterflies and Preschool rooms every Wednesday morning from 10-11am.

Emscote offers a fully inclusive package, open from 7.30-6.30 aiming to provide a convenient service to parents.

Our son has been attending Emscote House Day Nursery for 6 months and we are extremely happy with the care he receives. The staff are attentive, caring and friendly and have got to know our son well. The feedback we receive at the end of the day is in depth and lets us know everything he’s been up to
and eaten. We are always pleased with the activities he’s taken part in and are impressed with how he’s developed since starting at nursery.

Great nursery - our daughter goes to the ladybird room. The whole team there are fantastic. Really happy with the meals, activities and events they put on for the little ones. Would highly recommend!

Our little one loves his time at Emscote House Day Nursery. All the staff have been wonderful and really helped settle him in when he first started and then with the transition between rooms. Currently he is in the Ladybird room and the girls have been loving, kind and caring for my son as if he was
their own. He eats really well and has tried so many different foods and experiences that we may have struggled to achieve at home. The manager and the team are very good at offering advice and are always there to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend Emscote House for parents who are looking for their children to have fun, learn and develop in such a happy environment!

My son started nursery at 2 years old in Bumblebees, since day one staff has been amazing always very kind and caring. Very good communication and effective parent partnership. My son is always so happy to come into nursery, even when he is at home always talking about nursery or his teachers. I can
see on his learning development how much is progressed, and how exciting he tells me the amazing activities is, always set up for the children. Very pleased with the nursery overall, definitely recommend it. 100%

Very pleased with the place and the great staff. In my child's first 4 months of nursery I have never had an issue. Every week he is happier and happier spending time at the nursery and he is almost sad to come back home. Great variety of entertainment, kids are followed very well and they take great
care of babies (they are clean and they use good brand nappies/creams). The communication is always fast, effective and professional; I had issues for payments leaving my tax free childcare account, they have been very supportive and understanding. I am extremely happy with my choice and I would definitely suggest it.

My daughter has been at Emscote House since she was thirteen months old, she’s now in preschool.
She’s never liked being away from me and always gets fed up at drop off but I think it shows how great they are at Emscote that she always settles down quickly once I’ve gone and when I come to get her
she tells me what a great day she’s had and what she’s been up to and smiling.
The staff are warm and friendly and a good number have been there for the whole time my daughter has.
We always have a good handover at pick up and she has had some fantastic key workers as she’s moved rooms who have clearly taken time to get to know her interests and use them to engage her in learning and activities. Whenever she’s moved up a room they have always moved her up with a few of her friends which has helped the transition each time.
We get updates through the app and weekly newsletter which also help us keep up to date and know about upcoming events and activities.

Both my kids started in September and we are so happy so far. My toddler's excited eyes when it's time for school and the love she has for her teachers say it all. For the baby room, the carers are fantastic as well! All the nursery's staff is lovely and caring. It can be so stressful picking the right

We have had two children at Emscote House at different stages and we can't fault their care and provision. Every staff member clearly cares for the children and has an interest in the child (even after they have left for primary school!). They are great at communicating with parents through daily feedback,
weekly newsletters and an app allowing you to see your child's assessments/developments along with photos. Having experienced two other nurseries due to relocation, as a parent this has been my favourite and my children are clearly happy when they are there. The outdoor area is impressive for a town location and children are encouraged to play and explore outside regardless of the weather/season. Everything is included in the cost so you don't have to send in any nappies/milk/bottles/food etc.

Absolutely brilliant team, beautiful building and facilities, so well organised and leading in their design and quality of care and education. My son transferred to this nursery when we moved address to this new area and I was blown away by how well he settled in so quickly. A major factor in this is
obviously the staff and how well organised and skilled they are and their individual dedication and passion for their roles. Can't speak highly of them enough. Honestly so grateful to these guys and would recommend highly. Our son is happy to come here and is full of enthusiasm to tell me about his interesting day. He is growing in confidence, independence and creativity. This place is magical! Thanks Emscote for being truly awesome.

Our little boy started nursery at just 5 months old when I returned to work. We were understandably apprehensive of how he would settle in and anxious about being away from him. The nursery were and continue to be so supportive and we know he is very safe in their hands. He has such fun when he is there

My child has been at this nursery for a year and I'm very happy with the outstanding service that Emscote provide. The practitioners go above and beyond to ensure my child is happy. The garden space is well equipped and my child gets to go out on a daily basis. Since my child has started at Emscote

My child is due to leave to begin School. We have been using the Nursery since 2018 and in this time have not experienced any issues. The building is in a great location and it’s like home from home. Its staff are very welcoming and make you feel a part of a family. My child has enjoyed their time being
a part of this family and we shall all miss it. I rate Emscote House Day Nursery as exceptional overall.

Both my children attended Emscote House from the age of one up to the start of school. They have different personalities and interests, but both enjoyed their time immensely and have flourished under the care of the staff, who are kind, friendly and always full of enthusiasm. The only negative over
this time has been a lack of consistency in the online system used for feedback, which has varied from frequent/detailed to very little at times. However, having said that, for us, personally, it has not been a major issue, there is always a staff member available at pick up and drop off to communicate relevant information about the day, chat through any worries and celebrate any achievements. The children are always well looked after, supported through any problems/awkward phases and encouraged to develop their own interests and spend time learning through activities they enjoy. The indoor and outdoor facilities are both great.

Both of my children moved from another nursery where they were very happy, to Emscote House Day Nursery (Leamington Spa). The staff were brilliant in settling the children into the new nursery, particularly my older daughter who found the transition harder. The practitioners are very caring and take
genuine pride in how they care for the children, providing feedback and showing the appearance of the rooms. The room leader in preschool has also brought in new initiatives and additional learning opportunities which have been excellent. The nursery and company acted brilliantly throughout lockdown which was not the case with all nurseries when speaking to friends. The only minor criticism is that when the more senior leaders within the rooms are not present, there is noticeably slightly less structure, but no drop in the care! We would highly recommend Emscote House Day Nursery (Leamington Spa) and will be sad to leave.

My daughter has been coming here for over a year now and she loves it so much! The staff are very friendly, the app is amazing so I can upload pics and so can the nursery. I have even moved away but commute just to keep her in this nursery.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2012

Claire is the Manager of Emscote House Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector since 2005 - starting as an Apprentice straight out of college. Claire has numerous qualifications, including Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Education and an NVQ in Team Leading. Claire has worked for Childbase Partnership since 2012.


What is your favourite feature of the nursery?
My favourite feature of the nursery is the character and original features of the building, as well as the warm and engaging environment we create for the children.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am most proud of the home-from-home feel we as a team deliver each day, even though we are a big nursery, as well as how we have grown and developed over the years.
