Footsteps Cannock Nursery & Pre-School

My daughter started back at nursery at the start of July and I was very worried about how she would react. All the staff have been really helpful, professional and supportive, and my daughter has gone back and is loving nursery life. The staff are amazing and she has taken to them and her new room really well. Thank you to the nursery for their regular updates during such a difficult time during covid-19, and for the staff always been so friendly, caring and approachable. Amazing nursery.

A superb nursery, with fantastic staff, management and ownership. I feel better leaving my twins here than with immediate family, as I know they have the most amazing day. Each day is like they are attending a kids party, it’s magical for them. Activities and learning beyond anything you could do at home with your child/children yourself. I had experienced an Ofsted rated “good” nursery before I brought my twins to Footsteps and the difference is worlds apart. Each member of their staff is how you would describe the nicest person ever. They are truly all incredible. I have nothing but incredible things to say about the staff and the facilities and I am quite a picky mom. Sending your child here feels like you can say you are giving you baby/child the best start to life possible and feels rewarding when sending them here for a day. Thank you to each and every one of you from reception staff, chefs, carers and the owners for fantastic support during a global pandemic.

We cannot praise the team at Cannock enough. Our little one has attended from 8 months old and is now in pre-school. Her journey through Footsteps Cannock has been fantastic and the staff that have supported her along the way have been amazing. She is very happy there and we look forward to her final year at Footsteps ahead!

My daughter settled into Footsteps Nursery and Pre School (Cannock) really well and I am so pleased as a mum that she is really happy here. I would highly recommend as she has come on loads since attending, very friendly and professional.

Our little boy has been attending since he was in baby room. The staff are always welcoming and approachable. We went on the family trip that they organised which we all loved. We feel he has progressed well going.

My 1-year-old twins have attended this nursery since February 2020 and I couldn't be happier. The staff are so friendly and helpful and my children love going there. They are extremely happy and settled. Would highly recommend this nursery. Professional and approachable.

I love our son's Nursery, he had trouble settling in and they have provided me with great feedback, and have suggested pictures to send he can talk about and have no problems contacting them to discuss any worries I have. Very clean, bright and happy Nursery.

Great nursery, staff are friendly and welcoming and helped my child to settle into nursery. She always comes home happy and telling us about all of the fun things she has been doing and new things she has learnt. Her development has definitely been enhanced through attending this nursery.

My daughter has attended since 12 months old and has been so happy in lower movers, upper movers and now toddlers. The staff are amazing in all rooms and I really feel like they love her as an individual. She attends full time. Food choices, routines, special event days, emotional education, role-play are all recorded in her online learning book and make me appreciate how much is achieved over the course of a day.

My daughter has been going to Footsteps since she was 6 months old and I can honestly say it is one of the best nurseries I have ever had the pleasure of working with. As a person who works within education and deals with nurseries on a regular basis this is by far one of the best. My daughter is looked after and loved by all the staff as I would look after her at home. There is not anything that is too much trouble or a problem and the variety of activities that they provide the children is amazing. The children are often taken on trips out to the local park, forest school as well as entertainers brought in to develop the children's learning and interests. The manager knows every parent by name and which child belongs to them and is always warm and welcoming, the staff are quite frankly amazing. They often organize out of nursery events for parents to attend, special mornings where breakfast on the go is provided for parents or this year Dad's got a curry for Father's Day!

She’s smart, polite and loves nursery. Staff deal with any issues promptly, are approachable, understanding and willing to listen to any concerns you might have. Couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

An amazing, friendly, clean and welcoming nursery. I have 2 children at this nursery at the moment and have done for 4 years. They have really made my children feel apart of their nursery, encouraged socialising, taught life skills and just been there for them. I have not one bad word to say against any of them. The extra curriculum and parties they organise are great and the kids love them. Great team.

I have two children who attend this nursery. Both are under 3 and I feel extremely happy whilst at work knowing they are cared for at Footsteps. The staff are efficient, approachable and friendly. Footsteps may not be the cheapest but after viewing many other establishments it's worth every penny.

We have been using Footsteps since 2014 when our eldest child started. Our youngest child currently attends, even though we have since moved house and it's not a convenient journey to make. I think that shows how much we trust Footsteps with our little boy. We have never had any concerns with any aspect of our children's care over the years and I have recommended Footsteps to other parents. The staff show a genuine interest and care in the children and it really shows. We will be so sad when we no longer need to use the team and without a doubt, they provide the best care and support during these important baby and toddler years. The team are all very approachable and the manager has been there since the start for us which gives us reassurance as parents that all is good and well there.

Within a few days, things had improved and she was much happier. Have also really enjoyed the learning book app as it has given me up to date insight into our daughter's learning.

From 9 months old he has attended and has progressed so much through each room setting with every member of staff from key workers, management to even the cooks taking a part in his development. The extras that the nursery provide are amazing from weekly trips off-site to forest school, cooking club, language club to even thinking of parents with breakfast on the go. I will be truly sad when September comes and it’s time to leave.

In this lovely nursery, your child is an individual and not an additional number to the group. They are so accommodating with your requests and your child’s needs. It gives me peace of mind to know my little boy is in safe hands. The support you get with any challenges you face is incredible. The staff listen to your concerns and advise you, if needed, on the approach of how to tackle them. However, if you wish to go in a different direction, it is also fine by them. My little boy loves going to nursery every day and doesn’t really understand why there is a need to stay home on a weekend. I think this is a true testimony for the great team effort behind Footsteps Cannock. Ah - and the food is absolutely outstanding, varied, balanced, healthy but tasty and more importantly, there is plenty.

My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was one year old and we could not recommend it more to other parents. The set up of the nursery is extremely well thought through with rooms for babies, 12-18m, 18-24m, 24-36m, 36m-3yrs and 3-5yrs. This allowed our daughter to play with children of a very similar age which we believe allows the staff to set up age-appropriate activities which consistently support her development. The nursery is very well organised, clean, promotes personal development, healthy eating and really goes above and beyond for the children and the parents. The nursery offers additional extras such as breakfasts on the go for parents, take away meals on special occasions and stay and play sessions which are all free and included. We also love that nappies and wipes are included which we found was not the case for other nurseries. Finally, the staff are always happy, enthusiastic and willing to help whenever you need it.

My two children currently attend Footsteps and overall, I have been visiting for just under three years. Both my husband and I are so happy with the nursery and how they care for our boys. The staff are outstanding and so caring and provide top-quality care. It gives me the biggest relief knowing my children are safe and looked after so well whilst I’m at work. We would highly, highly recommend it.

My little boy who is now 3 years old has been at this nursery since he was 8 months old. He attends forest school at Cannock Chase and is now learning French, which he loves. The food menu is always diverse and he always eats well there. The staff, you can tell, really care for all the children and are so polite and friendly. Honestly cannot fault this place - there is no better nursery I could imagine for my little boy to attend.
