I love this nursery. The staff are brilliant, each room my daughter has been in she has loved. She has excelled since being in nursery and this is down to all the lovely girls who work there.
Would definitely recommend and have done previously to my friends.

My daughter attended this nursery from 11 months until she left to go to school in September. I cannot speak highly enough of it. She was always well cared for, the staff were kind, loving and made her feel special and valued. The key worker system works very well and we always felt that we were kept
well informed. She was encouraged every step of the way and was given lots of opportunities to learn and develop.

Our overall experience of Footsteps is a positive one. Staff are always friendly and approachable. We had a few issues with admin initially, but these were eventually rectified. Staff encourage children to learn and develop but some activities could be more varied. There is a great outdoor play area
for the children, but parking facilities could be better.

Footsteps is a very well organised, friendly nursery. All staff members are warm and friendly and have always taken excellent care of my little one.
They provide lots of opportunities for parents to have a view/get involved.

Our daughter has attended this nursery for the last two years, she has come on immensely since starting in the baby room, her confidence has grown, her counting and knowledge has grown massively and she is always thoroughly happy whilst there. They always do a wide variety of activities, and always
engage parents in the activities too. My daughter was assigned a key worker in each room which has helped her settle and bond in each room. The staff are always happy and friendly and will always put your mind at rest when I call to check how she is doing.
The nursery is a safe, happy environment to leave my little one, she has made some wonderful friends and bonds both with children her age and the staff she see's each time she attends, thank you to all the staff at this nursery who have brought my little one along so much, always cared for her and have made what is a very emotional time leaving your little one that little bit easier to know she is looked after so well.

My child has been happy attending nursery since the 1st day. Staff are all super friendly, offer advice when asked about how to help development etc and I have absolutely no concerns leaving my daughter in their care. The staff put our minds at rest when we call to check on her, which they never mind
us doing if we have any concerns.


On a couple of occasions, my daughter was ill at nursery and I could not fault the Footsteps staff in how they dealt with the situation. They reacted quickly and even the nursery manager sat with her until I arrived.


The outdoor play area is safe, well equipped and fun for all the children.

My daughter loves attending nursery and has had it changed mid-term due to us moving home. This has been a seamless transition (she moved from Dosthill to Cannock). My daughter's confidence has soared and she seems well equipped for school. I know she will miss her teachers and friends that she has
made when she moves in September. The staff are always cheerful, even at the end of the day. I always feel safe leaving my daughter there.

Footsteps is such a lovely environment to send our children to. They both have a lovely time when they are there and learn new things daily. All the staff are lovely and have a wonderful bond with the children. This is very important to me that they have people they are happy to go to.

My child is currently in the toddlers room at this Nursery and he absolutely loves it! He has been here since he was 8 months old. The Nursery has recently been renovated and now has excellent resources. The staff are all friendly and very approachable. The food which is all prepared onsite is excellent,
my son who can be fussy arts everything! I feel that my son is getting an excellent start to his early years education and would highly recommend it.

Toni Curran

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2019

Hello, my name is Toni, I’m the Deputy Manager here at Cannock.


I joined Footsteps in 2019 as a Senior Room Leader in preschool and then went on to be promoted to Deputy Manager in February 2022. I qualified in 2010 as a level 3 practitioner and went on to gain experience in both schools and private settings.


Our nursery builds an environment inspired by the children’s interests, making secure bonds and attachments with children. Our fantastic team ensure every child has the best experiences and enjoys their time spent at Footsteps.


The early years are what I love most, watching children learn and grow from babies through to preschool and knowing you have been a part of their learning journey is amazing!
