Springfields Day Nursery and Preschool, where a dedicated team provides exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Mummy and daddy came to the carol concert which was, as with everything, well run and lots of fun. Our little one loved it as well.

We are absolutely delighted with the excellent level of care both children get at Springfields.
The settling sessions for our youngest were outstanding - and the acid test has been no tears at all at any drop-off.

Ever since my daughter started at the nursery at age 1, I have always found the staff so kind and friendly. 2 years later and I still feel the same way. My daughter is always so happy after nursery and talks it about it often.

My baby started nursery at the end of January when I returned from maternity leave. The girls made me feel reassured I was leaving him in safe hands. He is always so happy to be dropped in the baby room and I know the girls take good care of him. As the months have gone on, I can see he has made a fantastic
bond with his key carer. He doesn't want to leave nursery at the end of the day! He has been doing visits to the next room and has had no problems settling in, which shows me he is very happy and settled here.

My daughter is about to finish as she heads to school in September. Thanks to the staff, despite her young academic age, she is very much ready for the move. The majority of the teaching staff there have always been most welcoming and supportive; my daughter has rarely not wanted to be left. She has
been incredibly happy and learned a great deal both from a social and academic perspective. Children’s meals are varied and dynamic and we’ve all loved attending the various open days. The staff are meticulous in regards to safeguarding, providing a safe and secure environment.
There are two main areas where I feel Springfields could, in my opinion, improve: firstly, better use of technology. It would be very nice for the nursery to develop a means of communications to parents -through twitter perhaps or through an app.
Secondly, the use of the nursery’s surroundings. More local visits and walks.
I would highly recommend Springfields.

My son came to Springfields from another nursery when we moved to the area and I can't describe how happy we have been. The environment, staff and facilities are fantastic, the activities and learning even better.
The nursery lacks outside space but the staff have been creative in making the most of
it.

My son has grown in confidence in all areas due to the fantastic support provided by preschool staff. He has developed so well with his development. The staff are always very attentive and thorough with their care for my son.
He is always full of energy and vocal about what he has done throughout
the day, so I know he always has a busy day learning and having fun!

All three of my children have attended Springfields. I have always been very happy with the care the staff have shown.
My two year old has settled really well and has a great time when she is here. There is a lovely mixture of fun and learning through creative play.
I can't fault any of the staff,
from management down to new starters.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Helen joined Bright Horizons Springfields Nursery in 1992 as a student whilst completing National B-Tec, gaining a full-time position in June 1994 as Nursery Nurse.


After a year she left for 8 months to become a Nanny and gain experience in a different job role, however, decided that Springfields and the early years was the career she wished to pursue. She came back to Springfields in October 1995 and worked her way up, becoming Nursery Manager in 2001.


In her spare time she loves spending time with her family.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Jade began her career at Bright Horizons Springfields as a student, completing her college placement there when she was 18 years old. She then started working full-time at Bright Horizons Springfields in 2013 as a nursery nurse.


She has progressed through various positions, from room leader to third in charge, and finally to Deputy Manager, a role she has held for over two years. Additionally, she has been the designated SENCO contact at the nursery for over three years and holds a Level 3 SEND qualification.
