Highfield Day Nursery is set in a converted property that is staffed by a highly trained team of childcare professionals. Children's individual interests are nurtured and promoted with child-led play being a key feature of Highfield's philosophy.

A flexible interior supports a great deal of age-specific learning, with four playrooms in total, messy playrooms, sensory rooms, an art room and also a sleeping area for babies.

An enclosed garden offers year-round, all-weather activities which help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development.

They also offer the extracurricular activity of Mini Athletics alternate Monday and Friday mornings from 10am for the Bumblebees and Preschool rooms.

*7am start is available at an additional cost. Standard opening time is 7.30am.

My son has been here since May 2022, he has come on leaps and bounds since being there! He loves coming to nursery and runs in every morning. The staff are kind, helpful and caring, and the management goes above and beyond. The food is lovely, well-prepared and diverse. As a parent, I can't be happier
with my son's care, and I would highly recommend this nursery.

Great daycare would highly recommend it. My daughter has been going here for just over one year now and loves it here. The staff are very helpful and my daughter has learnt so much in the year she has been attending Highfield. They also give great nutritious meals that are freshly prepared on the day.

Both of my children have attended Highfield Day Nursery and I have been extremely happy with the experience they have had there. The staff are all excellent and look after the children with great professionalism and warmth. The nursery has good facilities including a wonderful garden which the children
go out into several times a day. Parents are given regular updates and are welcomed into nursery often for special events and celebrations - the whole family was made to feel part of the nursery community. During the pandemic the staff took sensible measures to make sure the nursery was safe, while ensuring the children were able to enjoy as much normality as possible.

My son has attended the nursery for nearly 4 years. He's had several strong key workers over his time within Highfield who have always had his best interests at heart - often going above and beyond to give the best care. We're very sad to say good-bye but very thankful for all hard work and devotion.
We would have no hesitation in recommending to any parent/career. There's been very little staff change over in the time we've had a placement meaning there's always been a familiar face at the door. 10/10!

Excellent staff and facilities, wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place for other parents. My twin boys were there for 2 years, and went through the different stages of their development cycle in the different areas of the nursery.

My son attends the nursery 5 days a week. He loves his time in the Nursery. The staff are like family and we, as parents feel really confident that our child is receiving the best care. The Sports Day, Queens Platinum Jubilee celebrations are a special call-out. It was lovely to see the kids with their
playgroup, teachers and parents. We definitely couldn't have chosen better.

My child has been coming to Highfield since he was ten months old. He absolutely loves it! Today he was graduating as big school starts in September. The staff here are brilliant and tend to all the children's needs. Our eight-month-old boy will be coming here in October.

Our son attends the nursery five days a week full time. From the very first day, he is very happy, the staff is very kind with him, they are very close and very careful. Every single day when we drop him there he is smiling and he looks very comfortable playing around since the minute one. The staff
is always organizing activities to stimulate him, always keeping us updated about everything, food, sleeping, daily activities, we couldn't choose better!

After having a look around, I can see that the staff are really friendly, and wanted to interact with my son. The resources are well equipped, and there are plenty of rooms to explore. Management team are helpful and supportive.

Consistently high service since 2016. We have sent 3 children through the nursery. Truly excellent communication ovation throughout Covid situation. Excellent menu, very dedicated staff who really care for the development of the children.

Our child has been attending the day nursery for 2 years. He is very happy there. We are involved and informed about his learning and have been supported to help with potty training. The team are highly skilled and kind and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, fun, clean nursery.

I was really worried about starting my son in a new nursery setting after moving from Manchester where he had been so happy and settled at a lovely nursery up there. The staff at Highfield Day Nursery (Birmingham) were really reassuring and professional and honestly within days I could already see my
son was settling in really well. He has built an amazing rapport with his key worker and all the nursery staff in the ladybirds room and I'm just so grateful. His language has come on so much, he is inquisitive and responsive. It's clear they have a great structure of care at Highfield, that they cater to individual needs of the children and work hard to create a space that is welcoming and caring. I was also really impressed with the variety of food on the menu for the children that changes and it's always really healthy. They have a beautiful outdoor space and make lovely effort for celebrating lots of events in the yearly calendar. Thank you everyone at Highfield! I highly recommend this nursery.

Lovely nursery for my children. I have an older son who just left the nursery for reception and a younger one who is still happily there. The staff is very supportive, I particularly love the staff, they are brilliant. The rest of the team are also very nice and trusted. Their garden is massive by the

We are so pleased that we have chosen this nursery for our child.
The key workers are very professional, lovely and caring people, they treat every children as individuals, pay attention to details, and also deal comfortably with bilingual children.
The management is friendly and approachable, they
always try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate the families’ requests while keeping an eye on the safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
I am very grateful to Highfield that I can feel assured that my child is in safe hands and having a great time with creative activities on nursery days here.
The building and their garden is so lovely and cosy too.
The communication with parents is excellent, they issue a weekly newsletter with important and useful information in it, and, when needed, send ad-hoc emails.
I can highly recommend Highfield Day Nursery when someone is looking for a great nursery in this area.

Highfield Day Nursery was referred by a few of our friends whose kids went there when they were little. As a first time mother, it was quite difficult for me to drop my son off at nursery after spending nearly every day together for over a year. It was also difficult for my child to adapt due to not
seeing many new faces during the year which was heavily impacted by the Covid. I was very grateful that the staff understood how parents feel and kept me posted with my child’s activities through the app. He has settled in very well and has developed so much since going to the nursery.

Natalie is the manager of Highfield Day Nursery in Birmingham and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 25 years. She has numerous qualifications, including an NVQ 2 and 3 in Childcare, and has undertaken an NVQ in Management since being with Childbase Partnership.
