Stonehouse nursery was once an old farm house building but is now renovated into a fully functional childcare facility. Lots of special remnants remain in their outdoor space like an original farm tractor and their 2 pet chickens who roam through the gardens whilst they play.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with the children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are big on happy children so they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world. Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery including photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress.

The nursery holds the green flag status in the prestigious Green Flag Eco-schools programme which is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning.

They love healthy eating at Stonehouse and they've partnered with Startwell, an exciting new programme being rolled out across Birmingham to encourage healthy, nutritious meals for children.

The staff are really nice and friendly. My son is always looking forward to going to nursery. Really pleased with the new decor and renovations at the nursery. It is more bright now. The management still needs to improve in terms of communication but overall it is a good nursery.

Wonderful nursery and preschool, which our daughter has loved and enjoyed greatly. All staff are lovely and easy to speak to. We sent our son here before, and he loved it too.

Nursery has done an excellent job catering to our daughter's complex needs. Have gone above and beyond for her.
They have helped so much with her development. She loves all the staff here and has formed a special relationship with them.

We have been very pleased with everything about the nursery. The staff have been amazing, very friendly, and have always done an amazing job looking after my son. They have always been accommodating and attentive.

Fantastic nursery and wonderful staff. My daughter has developed so much since starting here, especially with her speech. When she started November 2022 she only said a few words but now she is the right chatterbox and that’s thanks to this nursery.

Little Pioneers Stonehouse is a great nursery. After we decided to take my son from the previous nursery we were worried about how he would adapt to the new place but it was quick and he loves this nursery. Friendly employees, who respond to children’s needs.

Honestly couldn’t ask for a better experience for our daughter. All the staff are kind, friendly and engaging. They all seem passionate about the children and their roles. The nursery itself is in a lovely building with good facilities and plenty to stimulate the children. She had learnt so much through
the activities she does and has such a great foundation now to build on when she goes to school. My daughter especially loves the food!

It's a good place overall. Slightly expensive compared to other mid-range nurseries but has better care. But a couple of times, I noticed loose nappies remaining unchanged almost till we did the pickup in the evening, which caused rashes and itchiness making my kid all irritated in the evening and night
unable to sleep well. It was sorted after I mentioned it, so satisfied. Understandable with shortages of staff in the industry overall.

My daughter loves coming to nursery which is a reflection of the great, enriching environment around her. My son also attended and in the four years we have been coming to nursery we only have positive things to say.
Staff are friendly, helpful, caring and provide great activities and lots of learning
for my daughter. My daughter settled in well thanks to the great team. I trust the whole team and feel confident every day my daughter attends.

Staff are very caring, always there for support, and advice and to work alongside you helping in any areas you're working towards. They actually care about the children and it's more than just a job. The manager is amazing and always there to help in any way possible. The staff are also there to help
in any way possible. The care worker is also amazing and offers help, advice and support for the paten too. Great nursery and amazing staff.

The staff at First Steps are really welcoming and friendly. I find it easy to talk to my son's key workers and get regular updates. Children appear happy in drop-off/pick-up. Always asked who is at the door to maintain the safety of the children. No concerns.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the support I have received from this nursery. As a new foster Mum, I encountered many challenges but was supported every step of the way. I was given invaluable advice from day one which enabled me to provide the best care possible and overcome the daily challenges
associated with the 'terrible twos'. I class all of the staff at the nursery as friends as they go above and beyond to not only support and educate the children they care for but ensure their carers have a shoulder to lean on if needs be. My foster son excelled with both his communication skills and education whilst under their care and I would highly recommend this nursery to everybody. Thank you.

My son started nursery when he was 8months old. I was very wary of my son starting as I had never left him with anyone. The nursery staff were amazing as they always kept me up to date on how he is doing and reassured me via the app and whenever I called. My son loves it here and has developed so much,
the activities are fantastic and they have amazing outdoor areas. I Couldn't recommend the nursery enough! Best nursery by far.

My daughter was 32 months when she joined the nursery after being at home during the pandemic. She has become more confident, sociable and happy. I feel like she has improved so much. She learns and plays happily with her peers. Her eating habits have improved since joining the nursery.
