Partou Langley Gorse Day Nursery & Pre-school has a well-earned reputation as the leading provider of childcare in Sutton Coldfield, offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Located on Fox Hollies Road, in a beautiful rural environment, the nursery enjoys the benefits of a large character property with high ceilings, large airy rooms, and a huge outdoor garden and play space, which the children love and thrive in.

There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, 2-3 year olds, and Pre-School children, furnished with 'age-appropriate' toys and resources, ensuring they provide the best standard of care, development and education.

The staff are friendly, pleasant, helpful and professional. They took the time to listen to what my child needed and what he needed to help him to settle in. The house itself is full of rooms, full of toys that children could never get bored of playing with, it is an amazing place. The play area in
the garden is just fantastic. The nursery is set in a country setting with views of the countryside all around it and you just feel it's a nice quiet relaxed but educational place to send my child. If you are looking for really good nursery take the time out and go and look at Langley Gorse before you make your mind up.

My daughter loves going to Langley Gorse, she is happy to walk in on her own having been greeted at the door by her key worker. She then bounces out happy and content, telling me everything that she has been doing.
The tapestry system is brilliant as I get an update on what my daughter has eaten through
the day when she has been to the toilet, slept etc. I have a monthly report on what her next steps are and what I can be doing at home to support her learning.
There is constant dialogue, which is really supportive. I have been kept up to date with the current guidelines during COVID-19 and the nursery have been fantastic at keeping the number of cases to an absolute minimum, which has meant that key workers have been able to keep working knowing their child is safe.

My daughter started Langley Gorse in September and I’ve been so pleased with how well she has settled in. It’s a great sign that she’s beaming every morning when I hand her over to the staff who are warm and friendly. I’m kept up to date with her daily routine via their online journal and see photos
at least weekly of the activities she takes part in. I love seeing how much fun she has and couldn’t recommend Langley Gorse enough.

My son started at Langley Gorse in February 2020. He was very unsure and took him a while to settle, but in about two-three weeks he formed bonds with most of the staff in his room especially his key worker. Now he wakes up every morning, excited to go to nursery to show or tell them what he did the
previous day. All the staff are very caring and give great feedback. One of the best thing that we like is the outdoor space the nursery has, which my son absolutely loves. Would definitely recommend Langley Gorse.

My son has been going to the nursery for the last few months and he loves it. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting and is learning something new every day. The staff are great too, they clearly care about the children and their well-being.
The app is used every day for general updates and
also a few times a week with photos and comments which are lovely to see.
The different learning rooms and outdoor space are great too, so much for them to do!

Both my little ones have attended Langley Gorse Nursery and I couldn’t recommend them enough. I feel my children are safe and very well cared for and the staff are fantastic. I love the garden at Langley Gorse so much open space and wonderful things for the children to explore. My daughter is a very
cautious little girl but will run into Langley Gorse with a smile which is lovely to see so I know she loves it there. I love seeing all the fantastic activities my children get up to through the online learning journal as it keeps me up to date with their days. I’m very happy we found Langley Gorse and wouldn’t choose anywhere else.

My little boy started at Langley in the summer, after only being looked after by his Nanny I was unsure how he would settle in. On our tour, I knew immediately this was the place for him. The girls who take care of him are so patient and caring and when he's sad or unsure are incredibly supportive and
encouraging. The online learning journal updates are fab and I can see what he's been up to and what he's eaten (which is usually everything, including cucumber!) I have already requested for an extra day for him to attend as he's come on leaps and bounds since starting at Langley. I would recommend this nursery in a heart beat!

What a wonderful environment for children to learn, grow, have fun and express themselves! On the first visit, you cannot help but be impressed by the friendly staff, welcoming children's rooms and of course the amazing outdoor space and facilities. Our daughter has been in attendance for a few years
now and the way in which she has developed in her vocabulary, self-expression, independence and social interaction skills, is a testament to the brilliant work and care provided by the team at Langley Gorse.
The way that the nursery has managed the COVID-19 situation has been exemplary with the primary focus being the safety and well-being of the children in their care at all times. The reassurance this provides as a parent whilst we continue to try and manage all of the other pressures that the pandemic has brought cannot be understated.
Thank you and it will be a sad day when she has to leave you next year for Reception.

Both our children have attended Langley Gorse, our smallest is still there. We have always been very happy with the excellent care they provide for the children. Both our children have loved going there and have really developed from attending. They have lots of fun but learn a lot too. It is a great
setting with lots of space and a brilliant outside area, surrounded by lovely countryside. I would definitely recommend it to any friends and family looking for a nursery for their children.

I am so pleased with Langley Gorse Nursery. Staff go above and beyond to ensure you and your child are happy and are so flexible to meet every child’s needs. My child had a number of settling in sessions covering various aspects of the day. Communication from staff is excellent and we receive daily
updates on how our child is getting on, what they have eaten and how they’ve slept etc. Most importantly my child loves going there! I would absolutely recommend Langley Gorse to anyone who is looking for childcare where staff will always support your child’s development and wellbeing.

My son has been going for almost 2 years after a first bad experience in another nursery. I can not stress enough how amazing this nursery is. The staff are friendly and really care about children. The management is always here to support and their response to working under covid is outstanding. My
son is truly happy there. When I leave him I know he is going to have a great day. The nursery goes the extra mile and uses an app to log activities, meals, daily report, photos development and future plans. They are always happy to discuss any matter whether it’s about my son or my personal circumstances.
It’s great to see happy staff and a strong team.
The nursery is clean and the rooms have been designed to stimulate children, there is a big garden and a view to nature and horses. My son made some good friends and loves the staff. I am grateful for all the support and just to feel at peace because they take good care of my son, and we know how hard it is to leave our children.

My son started this nursery Sept 2020 at the age of two half. He had previously been with a very much loved childminder since the age of 8 months and due to covid, we needed to move him. My son is wild and adventurous so I was nervous about this sudden move for him and how he would settle in and would
they understand him. On our viewing, the manager took us around and both of us instantly fell in love and silently agreed to ourselves this was the right place for our son. The manager had a huge part in our decision she had this amazing aura and without any children present you could feel what it gave and the way the children were looked after. My son has run into nursery every week without fail no tears, he enjoys it and loves coming home to tell me about his day. My only regret is that my son hasn’t been there since the beginning because now I know this is where he was always meant to be. I can’t thank Langley Gorse enough, after a tough year, they have filled my heart with confidence and contentment.

This nursery is simply amazing. I couldn't ask for any more. All the staff have been so lovely and welcoming. My little girl loves to go and can't wait to tell me about her day and all the fun things she's been up to. She adores the staff, which is a great review in itself. The facilities are wonderful.
So much for the children to do and explore. I love that you can go online to see what your child has been up to and also add your own comments for staff to see. It's such an interactive nursery with staff who are always happy to talk and share information about the day.

I am lucky enough to have 2 children currently at the nursery, who has been here since babies. I cannot rate the nursery highly enough, the activities, food, setting and outside space are fantastic. They are both happy to be at nursery and the feedback each day to us is great. Tapestry is a brilliant
tool and is a great way to show the family how the kids are doing. We feel very lucky to have such a safe and nurturing place for our kids to go.

My little girl loves her time at Langley Gorse Day Nursery. She has so far been in a number of rooms and excelled with the support of the staff. The outside space is amazing and the children getting to see the cows and horses is really special, especially in the spring. The staff are super friendly
and have no worries leaving her in their capable hands.

My daughter has settled in brilliantly at Langley Gorse. The staff listened and amended the room she would be in prior to her start. This has helped her development and her adjusting into this new environment. She always comes home from nursery happy. Nursery are always helpful with emergency days of

I have worked at Langley Gorse since 2018. In this time, I have completed both my level 2 and level 3 apprenticeships. This has given me the opportunity to further my career and work as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager and now the Nursery Manager.
