Partou Langley Gorse Day Nursery & Pre-school

The nursery is clean and the rooms have been designed to stimulate children, there is a big garden and a view to nature and horses. My son made some good friends and loves the staff. I am grateful for all the support and just to feel at peace because they take good care of my son, and we know how hard it is to leave our children.

My son started this nursery Sept 2020 at the age of two half. He had previously been with a very much loved childminder since the age of 8 months and due to covid, we needed to move him. My son is wild and adventurous so I was nervous about this sudden move for him and how he would settle in and would they understand him. On our viewing, the manager took us around and both of us instantly fell in love and silently agreed to ourselves this was the right place for our son. The manager had a huge part in our decision she had this amazing aura and without any children present you could feel what it gave and the way the children were looked after. My son has run into nursery every week without fail no tears, he enjoys it and loves coming home to tell me about his day. My only regret is that my son hasn’t been there since the beginning because now I know this is where he was always meant to be. I can’t thank Langley Gorse enough, after a tough year, they have filled my heart with confidence and contentment.

This nursery is simply amazing. I couldn't ask for any more. All the staff have been so lovely and welcoming. My little girl loves to go and can't wait to tell me about her day and all the fun things she's been up to. She adores the staff, which is a great review in itself. The facilities are wonderful. So much for the children to do and explore. I love that you can go online to see what your child has been up to and also add your own comments for staff to see. It's such an interactive nursery with staff who are always happy to talk and share information about the day.

I am lucky enough to have 2 children currently at the nursery, who has been here since babies. I cannot rate the nursery highly enough, the activities, food, setting and outside space are fantastic. They are both happy to be at nursery and the feedback each day to us is great. Tapestry is a brilliant tool and is a great way to show the family how the kids are doing. We feel very lucky to have such a safe and nurturing place for our kids to go.

Langley Gorse is a fantastic nursery. Both my girls thoroughly enjoy it. I especially like how much time they get to spend outside and how enthusiastic all the staff always are.

I love this nursery, both my son and daughter attend, they both love it here and have come on leaps and bounds, they learn new things all the time. I'm very happy with everything at the nursery.

My little girl loves her time at Langley Gorse Day Nursery. She has so far been in a number of rooms and excelled with the support of the staff. The outside space is amazing and the children getting to see the cows and horses is really special, especially in the spring. The staff are super friendly and have no worries leaving her in their capable hands.

My daughter has settled in brilliantly at Langley Gorse. The staff listened and amended the room she would be in prior to her start. This has helped her development and her adjusting into this new environment. She always comes home from nursery happy. Nursery are always helpful with emergency days of care which has proved invaluable in the past few weeks.

I only have positive things to say about Langley. The nursery staff are all very welcoming and I feel settled that my daughter is well looked after and cared for.

My son has settled in just fine. The environment and facilities are excellent. The staff have been amazing and are able to communicate with him and understand him. Very caring people and a safe environment. At the beginning, in his first week, my son used to cry and get upset and vomit as soon as we got into the nursery. The assistants advised me not to give him milk before coming to nursery, I am so glad the assistants are able to offer advice. He happily goes into nursery without vomiting and has bonded with the other toddlers and nursery assistants.

I have two boys and over the years have seen quite a few nurseries. I have to say Langley Gorse is, without a doubt, one of the nicest nurseries I've seen. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The location is a stunning one. I am delighted that my son attends this nursery, the outside area is amazing. I am quite jealous dropping my son off there and having to go to work - wish we could swap roles.

Really love this nursery in comparison to the other nurseries my previous children went to. The outdoor space and play area is fab. I love the open door policy that they can go out at any time. All staff are very friendly, polite, always smiling and very helpful. I love their ethos and free play with real toys. Absolutely recommend this nursery even though there's a closer one, I travel further to come here as it's worth the travel. Plus my son loves all the cows and horses he can see every day.

Since our son has started in the Rising Twos we have been so happy to see his learning and understanding grow. He has built up fantastic relationships with both the staff and children. He is always engaged with various carefully planned activities and he enjoys the free flow element of the outside/garden. Most importantly we have a happy little boy who runs into the room every morning with a smile on his face. Thank you.

Langley Gorse is a lovely nursery for all ages, but especially for the bigger kids approaching school age. The massive outdoor spaces are amazing for them to run around and have fun in. My child has been developing really well and she always comes home with a smile on her face, which is a testament to the staff that work there.

This is a fantastic nursery. The staff are very attentive and caring, they really look after the individual needs of the children in their care, so far as to arrange home visits and regular updates on the development of the child. I’ve tried other nursery’s where the staff so blatantly don’t care at all about the child, so this nursery was a breath of fresh air, and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds. I can’t thank the manager and staff enough.

It’s very difficult choosing the right nursery - yet I knew straight away Langley Gorse was the one for my daughter. The place is really homely and the staff not only care for her really well but they seem to have loads of fun with her too.

She is kept very active through learning based play which is different daily and she has made great progress since starting. She loves to play with her little mates and she loves the garden the most-especially playing with the older children!

The staff communicate well with parents and are willing to listen and be flexible when needed- their main focus is ensuring the children are happy and cared for- exactly what you want as a parent.

For me, the staff at Langley Gorse are its main asset. They are the most wonderful, kind, caring and professional group of people. So approachable and always willing to support and give advice. My husband and I both agree that one of the best decisions we ever made was sending our children the Langley Gorse.

I am pleased with the care my two children have received. Their confidence levels have definitely increased. The staff have cuddled frequently and encouraged bravery and self-reliance when needed as well. Their outdoor space is second to none! Can’t recommend Langley Gorse enough!
