Partou Langley Gorse Day Nursery & Pre-school has a well-earned reputation as the leading provider of childcare in Sutton Coldfield, offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Located on Fox Hollies Road, in a beautiful rural environment, the nursery enjoys the benefits of a large character property with high ceilings, large airy rooms, and a huge outdoor garden and play space, which the children love and thrive in.

There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, 2-3 year olds, and Pre-School children, furnished with 'age-appropriate' toys and resources, ensuring they provide the best standard of care, development and education.

My son has settled in just fine. The environment and facilities are excellent. The staff have been amazing and are able to communicate with him and understand him. Very caring people and a safe environment. At the beginning, in his first week, my son used to cry and get upset and vomit as soon as we
got into the nursery. The assistants advised me not to give him milk before coming to nursery, I am so glad the assistants are able to offer advice. He happily goes into nursery without vomiting and has bonded with the other toddlers and nursery assistants.

I have two boys and over the years have seen quite a few nurseries. I have to say Langley Gorse is, without a doubt, one of the nicest nurseries I've seen. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The location is a stunning one. I am delighted that my son attends this nursery, the outside area is
amazing. I am quite jealous dropping my son off there and having to go to work - wish we could swap roles.

Really love this nursery in comparison to the other nurseries my previous children went to. The outdoor space and play area is fab. I love the open door policy that they can go out at any time. All staff are very friendly, polite, always smiling and very helpful. I love their ethos and free play with
real toys. Absolutely recommend this nursery even though there's a closer one, I travel further to come here as it's worth the travel. Plus my son loves all the cows and horses he can see every day.

Since our son has started in the Rising Twos we have been so happy to see his learning and understanding grow. He has built up fantastic relationships with both the staff and children. He is always engaged with various carefully planned activities and he enjoys the free flow element of the outside/garden.
Most importantly we have a happy little boy who runs into the room every morning with a smile on his face. Thank you.

Langley Gorse is a lovely nursery for all ages, but especially for the bigger kids approaching school age. The massive outdoor spaces are amazing for them to run around and have fun in. My child has been developing really well and she always comes home with a smile on her face, which is a testament
to the staff that work there.

This is a fantastic nursery. The staff are very attentive and caring, they really look after the individual needs of the children in their care, so far as to arrange home visits and regular updates on the development of the child. I’ve tried other nursery’s where the staff so blatantly don’t care at
all about the child, so this nursery was a breath of fresh air, and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds. I can’t thank the manager and staff enough.

I would like to begin by saying thank you to the nursery!


It’s very difficult choosing the right nursery - yet I knew straight away Langley Gorse was the one for my daughter. The place is really homely and the staff not only care for her really well but they seem to have loads of fun with her

too.


She is kept very active through learning based play which is different daily and she has made great progress since starting. She loves to play with her little mates and she loves the garden the most-especially playing with the older children!


The staff communicate well with parents and are willing to listen and be flexible when needed- their main focus is ensuring the children are happy and cared for- exactly what you want as a parent.

I love Langley Gorse!


Recommended to me by a friend who has used it for her 2 children. My daughter was delighted when she visited and my grandson has been happy and settled ever since he started there.
The outside play area is fantastic, the inside rooms and activities offer education and stimulation

in all areas.
Staff are helpful, caring, friendly and informative.


I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

I can't speak highly enough of Langley Gorse Day Nursey.
Both of my children have attended with my youngest entering her final term. What a wonderful place it is and we can't thank them enough for helping us raise our children into the sociable and independent children we are so proud of.
For me,
the staff at Langley Gorse are its main asset. They are the most wonderful, kind, caring and professional group of people. So approachable and always willing to support and give advice. My husband and I both agree that one of the best decisions we ever made was sending our children the Langley Gorse.

I am pleased with the care my two children have received. Their confidence levels have definitely increased. The staff have cuddled frequently and encouraged bravery and self-reliance when needed as well. Their outdoor space is second to none! Can’t recommend Langley Gorse enough!

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 12 months old. The care, support and attention they give my daughter is outstanding.
I never worry to leave her and I know every day she will have had the best time.

Langley Gorse is a really nice environment for our little boy. It is situated in lovely, quiet, surroundings where the children can play outside and observe the cows in the nearby field. The atmosphere is very relaxed and all of the children seem to benefit from the curiosity approach. Our son also
loves the food that is prepared each day at the nursery. I would have no hesitation in recommending Langley Gorse to other parents.

Both my children have been attending this nursery over the past few years and they love going every day. All the staff are pleasant and give a thorough handover at the end of the day. They regularly update the app so we as parents are able to see what the children have been doing.

My daughter has been at Langley Gorse for two years now and we are so happy with her development. From ten months old to three years of age, I am really thankful for their ability to aid her with all aspects of learning and developing. They have a fantastic outdoor space which is utilised a lot. The
staff are very friendly, extremely approachable and I cannot thank them enough for the past four years (my five year old attended too and she also loved it). I have no hesitation in recommending Langley Gorse.

Our daughter started at Langley Gorse in December 2018. Prior to her starting, she had several settling in sessions that took place at different times of the day. This allowed her to experience breakfast, lunch and dinner before starting the nursery as well as getting to know the nursery staff. As a
parent, I really valued this approach and it reassured me that when she started, she would be familiar with the staff and her surroundings.
Since she started, we have nothing but enjoyment from her. She goes to nursery really happy and comes home really happy. I feel that the staff at the nursery know my daughter really well and will often talk about her quirks, likes and dislikes when we take and collect her. The nursery record her day on their app and we love to see what she has been doing. As well as this, we get daily feedback that all staff working with her contribute to. I would highly recommend Langley Gorse.

Wonderful setting with friendly staff in an incredibly welcoming environment. Having had a bad experience with a previous setting, we had a lengthy conversation with management before starting and felt all our concerns were really listened to and addressed. Where our child was extremely nervous about
nursery before, he now runs in on his mornings at Langley Gorse and is really excited to be there.

Our son started at Langley Gorse in October 2018. He underwent a thorough induction and the staff took their time to explain how everything works at the nursery. He settled fairly well within a good time frame. Since Christmas, he has flown and we have seen him hitting his developmental milestones
with the care and nurture of the nursery staff. He enjoys nursery and is confident with his familiar caregivers. When our son wasn’t eating as well as he could have been, we worked closely with the nursery and he is now eating a wide range of varied meals. Any little problems that we have had along the way have been dealt with and I am confident that our son enjoys his days at nursery, which is located within a fantastic setting. Thank you to all the staff at Langley Gorse.

Such caring staff who are always willing to go the extra mile. They always keep us involved and informed. I am particularly impressed with Tapestry allowing us to upload photos and videos as well as seeing what our little ones are up to at nursery. Would highly recommend.

I have been impressed with the overall standard of the nursery since my daughter joined when she was 1.
Their attention to detail and looking after her needs has always been catered to and despite her only going 2 days a week I feel she has learnt a lot from there.
She loves the outdoor space and
their open door policy suits her to the ground.
Highly recommend to any parent.
