Partou Langley Gorse Day Nursery & Pre-school has a well-earned reputation as the leading provider of childcare in Sutton Coldfield, offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Located on Fox Hollies Road, in a beautiful rural environment, the nursery enjoys the benefits of a large character property with high ceilings, large airy rooms, and a huge outdoor garden and play space, which the children love and thrive in.

Langley Gorse is a lovely, friendly and caring nursery. I couldn't rate it high enough. Both of my children have attended Langley and have loved every minute of it.
They have made great friends with other children and love the staff.

My son has attended Langley Gorse since he was 11-months-old. He is now 3 and for him, it really is a home from home. He has developed so well since he has attended, both in the baby room, rising two's and rising three's. The staff have developed a trusting relationship with both him as well as us and
I couldn't be happier knowing he is attending a nursery he enjoys, looks forward to going to and we can be safe in the knowledge that he is safe there.

Wonderful place with amazing staff. My son needed a few settling in sessions but now absolutely loves it there. The rooms are age appropriate and the huge garden is an added bonus. It's a very safe environment and I have total faith in the staff. Truly fabulous nursery would highly recommend.

My daughter has attended Langley Gorse Day Nursery for two-day days a week since she was around 10 months old. She had several free settling in sessions and quickly established bonds with key staff.
The nursery staff are so friendly and caring. My daughter was well supported in going up to her next
room and quickly learnt the new routines.
The extensive grounds and space allow the children so much freedom to play and explore.
The use of the EY Log, the online journal, is handy for us to see what she's been up to throughout the day and allows us to add photos and videos of things she does at home too.

My daughter has been attending Langley Gorse since she was 12 months old and has just moved into Preschool.
I cannot rate the nursery high enough the staff are amazing. I have found them so supportive when my child was transitioning through the classes and always understand.
Any parent looking for
a caring, supportive and stimulating environment for their child should seriously consider Langley Gorse.

Had to remove my child from the nursery due to a lack of supervision and behaviour management. Complaint made to Ofsted regarding this and concerns escalated to safeguarding team at the local authority. The building, resources, and space are amazing, but please do not be fooled to send your child here.
My child did not learn any nursery rhymes or know of any, in their new setting they are thriving. I am very upset as a parent that I did not spot the poor education and childcare that was being provided to my children. One particular practitioner was exceptional in her care and went above and beyond and other staff members, however, it seemed that learning and development were not in place for staff to understand how to safely deal with behaviour. Risk assessments were not thorough enough to prevent children from injuring themselves of which mine did more than twice resulting in scars. This is also logged as an Ofsted complaint on the Ofsted web page. Please do your research before sending your child to this setting.

I would thoroughly recommend Langley Gorse Nursery. The setup of the nursery is beautiful with so much outside space and activities in the garden every day.
There is a range of different exploration activities that the children can participate in that get changed regularly as do the setups of the
room.
My daughters have never come out of nursery with anything but smiles, leaps and bounds.

My child started nursery back in July 2020, at the age of 14 months. He started in the under 2's group. His settlement was very difficult as it was a huge change for such a small baby, especially with all the restrictions due to the pandemic. Both me and my child had great support from the whole team
that I'm grateful for and within weeks he settled very well and is loving his second home now. I was worried that changing the group for raising 2's would have an effect on him but it seems there was no issue at all and my child not only loves his new room but also adores his key person. In the morning he is waving bye-bye with a smile on his face. I would recommend the nursery to everyone looking for a place where the baby is happy, safe and loved and the parent has peace of mind. I also chose the nursery because of all the indoor and outdoor facilities. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old at this nursery and they both love it. I was anxious about settling in my 1-year-old given the Covid restrictions but the staff have been amazing at making sure she has settled in really well - she now happily walks in like a confident little girl, which is due to
how the staff have made her feel comfortable being her. The lovely countryside setting really makes this a lovely nursery with plenty of outdoor space and activities. The nursery have been really informative given the Covid challenges and have kept us up to date on a timely basis.

I have two little ones attending the nursery 3 days a week. Rising 3's and rising 2's. The staff at Langley Gorse have been exceptional. We struggled to send in our older child post lockdown without tears every morning despite having a great time once he's there, as a parent it's heartbreaking to see
them crying, but the staff have been super supportive and using encouraging techniques and patience he's having much better mornings. The nursery app is brilliant, reassures us they're both OK and doing well.
I was worried my younger one would struggle to settle given she spent most of her first year in lockdown, but she's settled in brilliantly and can see that she has bonded beautifully with the staff and key person.
The nursery has also put in place very good safety measures around covid. It's shame we can't go inside and see the rooms and layout, but it's reassuring that they're putting the health of the children first.

My son has been attending Langley Gorse for just over a month and he has come on leaps and bounds since being there. His key worker has been amazing and has created a real bond where he feels safe. I could not be happier with the nursery and the staff are all so friendly. The app they provide for day
to day information is also really great it gives such peace of mind knowing everything without having to ask after every session. I'd 100% recommend the nursery to friends and family!

We have been delighted with the care our daughters have received at Langley Gorse. The staff are attentive and have made the effort to get to know our daughters well. Our eldest, in preschool, talks happily about the staff and the exciting things she is learning. They teach her good manners and skills
such as cooking, as well as engaging in a lot of painting and creative play.
Our youngest has been encouraged to move up to the rising twos room, the staff got to know her and were able to advise us of when she was ready to take the next step up because they spend so much time engaging in play and learning.
We find that all the staff very friendly and positive. The outdoor play facilities are fantastic: ideal for energetic little explorers.

Our son has been coming to the nursery since he was just under one and he is now in preschool. He loves it here, never says he doesn't want to go or resists going. The nursery supports us and offers advice and guidance when needed. The facilities are good, especially the outdoor space. The only down
side for us is whenever one of his key workers leave or move on, as we have had such positive relationships with them. That being said, we really like and appreciate his current key worker and more importantly, so does our son. The nursery communicate well with us and work hard to build relationships between nursery and home. I would recommend Langley Gorse Day Nursery to anyone, it has been and continues to be a supportive and nurturing place for our son.

Both my children have attended Langley Gorse, and they have been amazing! The staff have a great relationship with the children and really have their best interests a heart. The nursery has an excellent approach to play and development using real-life objects for role play, and a huge variety of activities,
using the child’s likes and interest.
Even during such difficult times with the pandemic and lockdowns, their standards have still remained extremely high! As a family, we have been so grateful for the safe and nurturing environment the nursery has continued to provide for our daughter!

Since the first time I visited Langley Gorse, I knew it was the perfect place for my daughter. The building is spacious for the children, full of character and the wrap-around garden and variety of outside space is perfect for such an active child like mine. Not only that but it provides even more learning
opportunities outside of a normal classroom environment which I know my daughter has more than benefited from. The nursery has a really homely, family feel which I love and has meant that my daughter has flourished in confidence and development. She has made so many friends whilst still learning through play - another huge reason why I would highly recommend Langley Gorse. The teaching staff know the children and their unique characters and personalities intimately and I love the update they provide each day. It’s just been a really lovely few years at the nursery and a place I would recommend to all parents.
