Yew Trees Nursery

I visited Yew Tree Nursery on a recommendation and thought it would be wonderful for our little girl. She settled absolutely wonderfully and it was a lovely smooth transition for her (and me) as I went back to work. I especially love the daily communication through the app and enjoy seeing everything she has been up to through the logs, messages, photos and videos. I'm really happy with Yew Trees Nursery and I know our little girl is happy there too.

Our little one is thriving at Yew Trees and is always so excited to start their day with the team. They have a great array of activities and learn so much each day. The outside space and the chickens are real favourites! The team are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They work tirelessly to suit individual needs. It has been wonderful to watch the bond between our little one and their key worker grow so quickly!

Yew Trees have been so supportive and provided such fantastic care for my son over the last few weeks after he broke his leg. My son shrieks with excitement when we drive in the three days he attends a week so I was so concerned how it would impact him if he couldn't go for almost a month. They were so accommodating and made such an effort to ensure he could still attend nursery as much as possible which was so greatly appreciated. I really couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

Our experience with Yew Trees has been great. Our son started at 9 months old and while he struggled with separation anxiety at first, the team in the Babies Room were so reassuring and patient with both me and him! A big part of our journey at Yew Trees has been thanks to our son's key worker. She has been a joy throughout our time here. Her dedication, care, and genuine love for the children is clear in everything she does. She has a fab way of making our little one feel safe, happy, and loved and they have a lovely relationship. Yew Trees has been great when catering to our son's allergies. The staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that he has a safe and varied diet. Communication with the whole team is great. The staff are always responsive. Regular updates and time-sensitive information is always tracked. I love seeing the updates of my son playing, painting and visiting the chickens! I never worry about my son when he's at nursery. I know he's in such good hands.

Our son has been at Yew Trees from 5 months old, now 2 years old. He has loved every day, all the staff are absolutely lovely and have been a huge part of all of our lives as we go from the baby to toddler stage of his life. A brilliant community to be a part of, where the children are their top priority as well as ensuring the parents are involved with daily updates of their progress at nursery.

Both of my sons have attended Yew Trees Nursery, with my current son being in the Little Leaners Room. The provision has always been and remains outstanding. Children are able to spend so much time outside in the fresh air due to the incredible expanse of outdoor space the nursery has to offer and make the loveliest of memories with their peers. My son’s current key worker along with the supervisor of Little Learners Room are exceptional. They maintain the highest standards of professionalism in a warm and friendly manner which means you always feel happy and comfortable when leaving your child in their care. I cannot recommend the nursery enough.

I couldn’t recommend Yew Trees highly enough! My daughter (baby room) settled unbelievably quickly into a very friendly, kind and caring environment, with lots of outdoor time and even regular trips to go see the chickens and the sheep! It’s given her the best start to life and I’m incredibly grateful to the honest, caring staff that look after her. She's had some health problems recently, and the staff have been absolutely brilliant and vigilant and genuinely helping to give her the best care they can.

The staff really put me at ease when I returned back to work. After only a couple of weeks, it was clear that my little one absolutely loved it there and was already forming a strong attachment to her key worker. The app is easy to use and really reassuring. Highly recommend!

I have a child in the baby room at Yew Trees Nursery. He loves his time there and is so well looked after by the staff. He has come on leaps and bounds physically, socially and verbally, and we have always felt he is very well cared for by all of the staff. Communication is excellent, and the food is better than anything he gets at home!

Lovely nursery! Went here myself, and now my little one loves going here. So glad it’s on the doorstep for us. They do lots of activities and they always have so much fun, always polite and friendly! Fantastic!

My son joined in January 2023. All of the staff in Babies have been amazing. My son loves going there. He has an amazing relationship with his key worker, who is absolutely brilliant with him. He has grown and learnt so much since he has been there. Progressing to Toddlers in the new year, and all the staff have made sure the transition has been smooth for him. They are all amazing and deserve the feedback. I wouldn't want my son going anywhere else. Highly recommend!

My granddaughter has thrived at Yew Tree Nursery she is in Little Learner now and her key worker is amazing. She understands her and encourages her to negotiate and learn about her world and the world around her.

Yew Trees is amazing. My little boy really enjoys everything they do with him. We get updates about his progress and what he has been doing. His keyworker has got a lovely relationship with him that she has worked very hard to build. All the staff are incredibly warm and kind. The children have lots of opportunities to spend time outside which is brilliant. We are confident that our son is safe, happy and cared for when he is at Yew Tress. We are looking forward to seeing how he develops over his time at Yew Trees.

All the team seem genuinely happy to be there. They're patient, kind and I trust them to have our daughter's best interests at heart. Our daughter bonded with her key worker almost immediately (and our daughter can be quite selective!). Her key worker is fantastic!

I will ask every night for her to tell me something that made her smile and without fail she will mention by name the worker who has been with her that day and the wonderful activities they do.

I could not write a review without mentioning how consistent the nursery has been with its incredible standards, as a parent who has their child full time at the setting and has attended for over a year and has experienced 2 rooms to date, the care, support and attention they have for both the child and the parents is something else.

The ladies from the toddler room were always beyond exceptional as were management and the admin team from the office.

Our little girl has been going to this nursery for nearly three months and we cannot be more pleased. She is currently eight months old and has a lovely time. All the staff are so caring and wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. Communication is excellent. They have a great app where you get daily updates, pictures and can direct message the key workers too. As she was so young when she started, I was worried it would all be too much for her. However, she is thriving and has the best time there five days a week. A big shout out to two staff members in particular for everything they do, her face lights up when she can see you. Thank you to all the other ladies in the Baby Room too. I would highly recommend this nursery. Plus the animals make every day worth smiling. Her little face in the daily pictures make my day and confirm our decision to pick this nursery.

Our baby boy started at Yew Trees in June 2023 and has been absolutely thriving there ever since. His keyworker got to know him very quickly and he loves her and feels so comfortable with her and the other team members there. We have great communication with them throughout the day and they are always quick to respond to any messages or concerns we have. He goes in happily and he comes out extremely happy too, it's such a weight off our minds to know he's having a blast at nursery and amongst adults he trusts and loves. Could not recommend this nursery enough, it's been the best decision to send him here!

Amazing. I moved my child from another nursery to here and it was the best decision ever. The staff are incredibly approachable and friendly, many having worked at this location for most of their career. My daughter loves the outside space and play equipment available. Healthy food choices and a great app to check in on your little one if you feel you need it.

My son has been in the toddler room since January of this year. He absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly, they do lots of fantastic things with the children and I have noticed my son's development has been great since starting here. The app is fantastic, updating you on what they have eaten, slept and done. I honestly would recommend Yew Trees Nursery to anyone looking for childcare!
