Yew Trees Nursery

We have been so impressed with Yew Trees. Our twin boys have grown in confidence, learnt new skills and have made close friendships during the two years at the Preschool. Every day has been an adventure for them, and the range of activities on offer is immense. Their day is jam-packed with outdoor learning such as forest school and exploration, off-site visits in the minibus and lots of craft/play development activities. The staff have been amazingly supportive and have given us detailed feedback every day about your their progress. They formed a really close and trusting relationship with their key workers who they will miss so much. We are so happy that we chose Yew Trees to begin their educational experience and we would definitely recommend it to others. We will miss it so much.

This nursery has been absolutely amazing so far for our 13-month-old. He thoroughly enjoys his time here. He had great settling sessions and the nursery was very accommodating during this uncertain time (both husband and I are key workers). Our son’s key worker is just fab. They have a great bond and in a short space of time, his development has been phenomenal. The staff are so friendly and caring and they give a very detailed update of what he does each day. Hands down, a phenomenal experience so far!

Yew Trees has been a brilliant safe space for my child to learn and grow. In the last year, her speech and moto skills have developed greatly and I know some of this has come from her days in Yew Trees. There is always a wide variety of activities during the day for the children to take part in and a great variety of healthy food. The staff are kind and patient at all time whilst teaching and nurturing.

Both our daughters attend Yew Trees. Our eldest joined in 2016, her sister in 2018. We have been blown away by their progress and the diligent caring nature of all the staff. When they head on to infant school they will hit the ground running because of the foundation work done at Yew Trees. We genuinely cannot speak highly enough of the whole nursery.

Our daughter loves coming to nursery. She has so much fun. Yew Trees spend a lot of time taking the children outside. The staff are fantastic - you can tell they really care about the children and invest time planning activities for them. We get lots of feedback and the admin side of things is really efficient. A very well run nursery.

Yew Trees are phenomenal, we had our first child and after visiting a number of nurseries, the minute we stepped in (alongside our daughter with us) it was “the one”. We noticed that it was really well managed and staffed, had a fantastic atmosphere, the kids had so many different areas inside and out that they could be playing in, good quality kit and everything just felt perfect. We’ve now had our daughter in for over six months as of December/Jan time and love the place. Our main assigned key worker is amazing, a totally lovely person and super qualified, not to mention fantastic with our daughter. We both highly recommend this nursery, there is not truly enough good things I can say! Not to lastly mention, in house food for the kids is second to none, balanced, fresh and varied. Just A class all the way guys, thank you.

When I was offered my ideal job whilst on maternity leave I was both overwhelmed with excitement and anxiety. We hose Yew Tree Nursery as it came with rave reviews from other parents we have known use it. The staff are everything one would wish for in an early years setting, they are not only competent but filled with compassion, empathy, kindness and love for the children under their care. This, along with a willingness to want to see the children progress independently, emotionally and academically makes for a very special place. I can't think of anywhere else I would rather have my baby!

I couldn't be happier with the staff, setting and environment offered to my son at Yew Tree Nursery. He started three weeks ago and loves his time at the nursery. The staff are friendly, approachable yet professional. I know my little boy is in safe hands and well looked after. He arrives smiling and leaves smiling (but a little bit tired too!) the day is full of fun and creative activities with great outside areas to explore. Any parent looking for a clean, safe and secure environment for their child should visit Yew Trees. The team at Yew Tree does an amazing job at caring, nurturing and developing our two young children from the babies room through to pre-school, learning and development is a key focus and the carers continuously go the extra mile. We can't thank you enough for your dedication and hard work.

My son started here following the closure of his much loved first childcare provider. I was concerned at first as its such a large nursery but I shouldn't have been. The facilities are excellent they spent so much time outside play equipment in the nature field, with animals, gardening etc. Best of all though are the staff who are, without exception, first rate. They are kind, knowledgeable, devoted and professional. Both my children have thrived here under their care. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
