Yew Trees Nursery

My daughter loves going to nursery, she has a big smile every time she sees her key worker! The nursery staff are brilliant and always listen to any concerns and are always flexible to change the routine to help progress any feeding/napping schedules. The food is perfect, lots of vegetables and fruit as snacks and my daughter has learnt to love healthy foods because of what she is eating at nursery. The app is second to none and I can see at the touch of a button what my daughter has done everyday and how long she has slept for. Each week the key worker will post a development update which is personalised to the individual child with goals and photos. Overall the nursery has exceeded anything I could have thought we would need from a nursery. Keep up the good work. Thank you!

My son has attended Yew Trees Nursery for two years and absolutely loves coming to nursery. He has learned so much and progressed so well. The staff are always friendly. The outside area is amazing! I would highly recommend Yew Trees!

Our little boy has been going here full-time since he was ten months old. He absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring, we feel that he is properly looked after and encouraged to develop his own personality every day. I love how much they get them outside into the fresh air and all the lovely activities they do every day. The app is great, I love the daily updates and photos, and the food looks brilliant.

We've been sending our son to Yew Trees Nursery for the past two years and it's been wonderful. We love that they take the kids outside every day for nature walks, to play in the mud kitchen, help with the chickens, or board the pirate ship. All the staff are amazing. The communication is great, with daily informal chats and lots of updates through the app. Their patience and kindness when he first started and he/we found it hard, was so helpful. We are very grateful to all the staff for everything they've done for him and highly recommend them.

Yew Trees are a wonderful nursery, my first daughter went through from babies to pre-school and absolutely loved it, she went every day with a smile on her face and always looked forward to it, and she was brilliantly prepared for starting school last Sept. It was natural to reserve a space for my second daughter as soon as I knew I was expecting! Both my daughters have benefitted massively from the experienced and hugely caring staff. The abundance of outdoor space and activities all year round are great and have really helped my girls to develop; language, confidence, social skills and so much more come on in heaps and bounds! It was the space and nursery setting that first attracted me to Yew Trees, but the staff who cemented my decision. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. My youngest is now in babies and throws herself into the arms of her key worker - she adores her! The staff really do go above and beyond; I can't recommend them highly enough - it made going back to work easier!

Both my son and daughter attended the baby room and the toddler room at Yew Trees. The experience has been fantastic. The children absolutely adored their key workers and loved going in which was a huge relief. The staff all go above and beyond to ensure the children have fun and are happy. They spend lots of time outdoors which was important to us. The meals sound delicious and healthy. Staff are also really good at communicating with you as parents both via the app and face-to-face. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I currently have my third son attending Yew Trees in the little learner's room. My other two sons have also attended, which shows my confidence in such a wonderful nursery. The transition between rooms has always been seamless, and each key worker has always been super kind and professional. The facilities at Yew Trees are what really impress me, such a wonderful outside play area and equipment to play on; I love the walks the children go on, and being a lover of nature, I am a huge fan of their ethos of being outside come rain or shine. The daily updates on the app and quick responses to messages are lovely to read. The management is so helpful and has always tried to accommodate extra sessions for me. The food offered is also exceptional, with themed menus and a wonderful variety, accommodating any dietary needs. I would highly recommend this nursery, so much so, when I chose it, I didn't even need to view any others, I just knew it was perfect for our family.

The food always sounds delicious and varied. Neither of my children has ever complained! They embrace different cultures and traditions, celebrating with specific activities and food. They offer free play involving lots of outdoor time playing in the huge outdoor space, sometimes with the chickens! They go on walks and outings and always come home talking about their day. The staff have become like extended members of the family without even realising it! It will always be a special place for our family.

My son recently finished his time at Yew Trees, and we were so sad to see him leave. He had a very difficult two years at the start due to his health, and the nursery was amazingly supportive and accommodating throughout. My little girl has now been there for 18 months, and she has progressed so well. She was extremely attached to me, and her key worker in the baby room went above and beyond to help her settle and make me feel at ease. The staff are friendly and welcome each child into the setting at the start of the day. Information on what they've been up to is shared on the app, and it's lovely to get updates and see pictures of their daily activities. A real positive of Yew Trees is the setting. Children spend a lot of time outside exploring and doing lots of forestry-style activities, which is great. Overall, a wonderful nursery with great staff and management.

Yew Trees is a great nursery, and both of our children have thoroughly enjoyed their time there. Our eldest joined the baby room and went through to preschool with our youngest being partway through the same journey. The staff are great, the setting is amazing, and the activities that our children enjoy are brilliant. They have both enjoyed every day, particularly the variety of things they do on a daily basis. The meals are excellent, and it's a real comfort to know that our children are well-nourished. It can be difficult leaving your children anywhere whilst going to work, but Yew Trees has always been a place that they enjoy going to, which makes the decision so much easier. Both of our two have formed very close bonds with their key workers and other staff, and they are really caring. Our daughter barely looks back as she marches in happily every morning, which is a great sign in our eyes!

Our two children have been in Toddlers and Pre-school and we honestly could not speak more highly of all the team at Yew Trees. Every day they offer so many fun, creative and imaginary play ideas- inside and out; from walks in the fields, exploring wildlife, painting, reading, exercise and more. The food that is cooked on site is also incredible and it amazes me what they have been eating. All the staff have been so caring and kind, they really are the best! Every day there is an app that you can access showing you all the different things they have been doing with photos and links to their learning. As the time for preparing to school came nearer they offered more focused learning and support with transitioning from nursery to school which was fantastic.

The staff were amazing. Really built relationships with my son and the other children. So much fun was had by him and he has learnt masses as well. The app was updated daily with all the information you would need.

Yew Trees Nursery has been such an amazing business to deal with since day one. The staff genuinely care about the children, their development and their general well being. I was a first-time mum going back to full-time work when my son was 9-months-old, terrified which was an understatement, but this has been such an amazing experience for my son and myself, he has come on leaps and bounds.

My son's key worker has just been amazing. I feel she is part of the family, she knows my son as much as myself and my partner do, she knows when something isn't right and will contact me straight away.

The only downfall to this set-up is I feel there isn't any lenience with contracted hours when children are poorly, we had an incident recently when my son was sent home with a cough to be tested for Covid (totally understand the caution), but as I had to wait for the results for 24-hours, I still was charged for the day the following day, this was disappointing.

Overall, I would highly recommend it!

Our daughter settled into Yew Trees straight away thanks to their warm, caring and fun approach. She loves it there. Staff are always friendly and accommodate extra days where they can. It really is a great nursery.

The baby room is fantastic. All the staff are sensible and extremely caring. They stick to your routines and adapt when this changes. Every day holds something different to stimulate and encourage learning/fun with the babies. They are kept clean and changed regularly and my son absolutely loved it here. Only leaving as moving house. Best nursery around! The outdoor space is fantastic and I love that kids go outside regularly!

Where do I start with Yew Trees? My son started there from 9 months old as soon as I went back to work. He now has started school 2 weeks ago and he's getting on great and a lot of that is due to Yew Trees. The staff are amazing and just make you feel so welcome and in the 4 years that my son has been there he's absolutely loved it and everyone there. He's learned so much and is so confident. Also through lockdown, they accommodated so well for him as me and my husband are key workers. If anyone is thinking of going to Yew Trees you will not regret it at all. Also, he will mostly eat anything now and that's all down to the delicious meals he was having.

The outdoor space and learning are amazing. My youngest has just finished at Yew Trees and has loved the outdoor kitchen and all the animals. The staff at Yew Trees are so supportive and caring. My two boys have had the same key worker in pre-school which has been fantastic. She has taught the boys so much and has encouraged their learning and to have their own personalities. I will miss Yew Trees so very much and so do my boys.

Yew Trees have been brilliant with my daughter, all through this Covid business they have supported parents and stayed open to help key workers so we could work. My daughter is so happy at nursery, they keep me updated throughout the day with how she is and if I feel I need to check on her, they always respond straight away to say how she is. The staff are amazing, really caring, happy in their jobs and my daughter loves them. I wouldn't want anyone else to look after my daughter.
