Yew Trees Nursery

Yew Trees are simply amazing. My little girl started in the baby room at 9 months old and is due to finish in August as she heads off to school. She has absolutely thrived here and the staff are simply wonderful. The food menu is 5* and I don't think there is a meal she hasn't eaten in 4 years. They have chickens which the children regularly help clean out along with forest school on/ off site. Last week my daughter went to pick blackberries on site and then they made jam. Staff regularly update the app so you get to see what your little ones have been up too. My little boy has just started in the baby room and I'm so excited for him to start his journey here. I recommend Yew trees to everyone I know needing a nursery that is truly 5*.

Amazing nursery with lovely staff! Both my children absolutely love going to nursery and have come on leaps and bounds since attending! The staff are amazing with the children and it's lovely to see the bonds they have formed with the children. Couldn't recommend Yew Tree anymore!

My son has absolutely loved his time at Yewtrees Nursery. He's had wonderful key workers who know him well and adapt to his needs and interests. We get regular updates on what is going on at the nursery and how he his doing with his own development. They are really inventive with the activities they provide and the beautiful spaces they have to play in - ensuring that there is always variety in each week and month. There is so much room to roam outside and they often have the freedom to do the activities they want to do. He's settled in quickly to each room as he's moved through the nursery, and comes home happy and contented - a sign that he's made strong and safe connections with both the children and the key workers around him. I've really appreciated all the efforts made to align with us on how we parent and ensure our son's emotional needs are met as best they can. I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a safe, secure and nurturing environment for their little ones.

The Yew Tree staff have been nothing short of amazing in helping both my little one and me settling in to the nursery. We both found the big step of going to nursery hard but I've had as much support and care as my little one has. They updated me as much as I needed and super quickly, and now she happily goes there every other afternoon. They really have made a huge difference in our lives and in my little one's learning and confidence. I'm so happy she got a place at Yew Tree Nursery and would recommend them to everyone, especially first time mums who may be nervous about leaving their little ones.

The toddler room at Yew Trees Nursery is a remarkable facility that has provided an incredible environment for my son's early development. From the moment we enrolled, the caring and devoted staff have made us feel welcomed and supported. My son explores his interests, enjoys nutritious meals, and makes new friends. The outdoor space is exceptional, featuring room for play, beautiful natural surroundings, and even friendly chickens. Communication with parents is exceptional, with regular updates that keep us informed about daily activities and milestones. The nursery provides valuable guidance for parents, encouraging development at home and fostering a collaborative community. I trust Yew Trees Nursery completely with my son's care, knowing that the staff are dedicated, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's growth.

Amazing nursery great outdoor space and plenty of activities with healthy meals. Shout out to a particular staff member in baby room who is absolutely incredible. Amazing attention to detail with lots of energy and super smiles letting my son settle in and advance so quickly. Management also amazing very quick to action any queries whether new requests or dietary requirements. Thanks Yew trees for an amazing service.

Both of our children attend Yew Tree, they both really enjoy it there. The outside space is amazing and the animals (chickens) are a great addition. Highly recommended. Staff are so helpful and really care about the children.

We have been so impressed with Yew Trees Nursery. Our daughter was very nervous starting here initially but she now cannot wait to go in each day, and is absolutely thriving here! The range of activities put on and the outdoor space is great and the staff are all lovely and supportive. Her key worker is amazing! She's brilliant at updating us on her progress each day which we love hearing. We'd highly recommend!

Genuinely could think of a better place to send out little one. He's out in all weathers, exploring, learning and making little friends. Not sure how they don't run out of ideas for indoor activities too. Never worried about him not being stimulated/educated/entertained.

We are so happy we managed to get our child into Yew Trees after looking at a couple of other settings. She has settled in brilliantly and her key worker is amazing as are all the staff in the baby room. We get regular updates which really puts your mind at ease when at work. The activities are always varied and the focus is very much on the children and encouraging them to achieve. Keep up the amazing work all at Yew Trees we really are lucky to have you looking after our little one.

Yew Tree Nursery have a really good setting, reasonable prices, extremely caring and professional staff. I like that the location is out of town and they have plenty of open space and field around where they take kids for walks. I can see my child enjoying going there and I notice there development progress.

After a difficult experience with another nursery, we were worried about how our daughter would settle. However the staff quickly put our minds at ease, she settled straight in, she waltzes in barely looking back and comes home happy! They quickly recognised what she could do already and what they could work on next and got straight to work on developing new skills! Communication is brilliant from all the staff. Our daughter really loves her key worker but is also happy and confident with the other staff to. There is lots of messy play (sensory, crafts and outdoors) which really suits our daughter and they really do make the most of the fantastic outdoor space on offer. We couldn't be happier with Yew Trees so far!

Such a wonderful nursery! After relocating to the area, our child settled well and has flourished at Yew Trees. The staff go above and beyond, they truly care and our child has nothing but good things to say about them. A charming setting with amazing outdoor facilities in all rooms. The staff are amazing, especially in the baby room and especially my child's key worker. She quickly developed a close bond with him and he genuinely loves being with her. The staff are always happy and excited and do some really nice activities with the children. I love the thoughtful hand and footprint cards for special occasions. The level of care for the babies is exceptional and it's reassuring to know he's in such safe and loving hands. There's been a change in management recently and we've still not met her or learnt anything about her, which is a shame, although the level of care has remained high.

A fantastic setting. Both my girls have been to Yew Trees from 6 months old. The team all really care for the children. All the way through communication from the key workers and office is fantastic. The children love all the outdoor play. Best of all they are so happy to go to nursery in the morning and come out with beaming smiles each day. Independence is encouraged for the older children and by the end of pre-school they are really prepared well for school making the transition. Thank you Yew Trees for all that you do.

We are very impressed with Yew Trees. Our son received plenty of settling-in sessions before starting in the baby room. He has a wonderful connection with his key worker who can’t do enough to support him. We are kept informed with the planned educational activities for the month. There is a great variety on the menu which is all cooked on site and changed regularly. I love that themed menus are prepared for special events too. The famly app is amazing to keep up to date with what is doing on throughout the day and provides a lot of reassurance.

I visited Yew Tree Nursery on a recommendation and thought it would be wonderful for our little girl. She settled absolutely wonderfully and it was a lovely smooth transition for her (and me) as I went back to work. I especially love the daily communication through the app and enjoy seeing everything she has been up to through the logs, messages, photos and videos. I'm really happy with Yew Trees Nursery and I know our little girl is happy there too.

Our little one is thriving at Yew Trees and is always so excited to start their day with the team. They have a great array of activities and learn so much each day. The outside space and the chickens are real favourites! The team are warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They work tirelessly to suit individual needs. It has been wonderful to watch the bond between our little one and their key worker grow so quickly!

Yew Trees have been so supportive and provided such fantastic care for my son over the last few weeks after he broke his leg. My son shrieks with excitement when we drive in the three days he attends a week so I was so concerned how it would impact him if he couldn't go for almost a month. They were so accommodating and made such an effort to ensure he could still attend nursery as much as possible which was so greatly appreciated. I really couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

Our experience with Yew Trees has been great. Our son started at 9 months old and while he struggled with separation anxiety at first, the team in the Babies Room were so reassuring and patient with both me and him! A big part of our journey at Yew Trees has been thanks to our son's key worker. She has been a joy throughout our time here. Her dedication, care, and genuine love for the children is clear in everything she does. She has a fab way of making our little one feel safe, happy, and loved and they have a lovely relationship. Yew Trees has been great when catering to our son's allergies. The staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that he has a safe and varied diet. Communication with the whole team is great. The staff are always responsive. Regular updates and time-sensitive information is always tracked. I love seeing the updates of my son playing, painting and visiting the chickens! I never worry about my son when he's at nursery. I know he's in such good hands.
