Circus Day Nursery Ltd has been established with a focus on quality early years learning, taking pride in an atmosphere where children can thrive and feel motivated.

A large garden and flexible range of play resources allows for a flexible approach to key early years goals, as well as many additional courses such as Fun French, First Aid Awareness, Spanish, Tappy Toes sessions to name but a few additional activities for little ones to enjoy

An all-weather surface and canopy means there is the opportunity for outdoor play whatever the weather, with children enjoying the nature section with the rabbits.

As well as a skilled approach to education, the nursery also supports healthy eating, supporting each individual child's diet. The head chef has a wonderful array of beautiful recipes the children love and thoroughly enjoy.

Limited spaces are available, so please contact us and arrange your personal tour of our beautiful setting. We are a family-run business, established in 1997 with a long-term dedicated staff team

Both my children have been very happy at Circus. There is a very friendly atmosphere and a high level of care. The garden is fantastic with lots of activities each day. I would recommend.

Both of our children have attended Circus from baby suite to Preschool, our youngest currently still in Preschool.


They have loved every minute of it. Created close bonds with the staff. The inside and outside space is amazing and the location is perfect. It means the children are able to go on

regular day trips to the local parks, shops, festivals in town and the theatre.


I would highly recommend Circus to everyone wanting the best for their children, when they cannot be with them.

My third child started at Circus last week, so I have been going to Circus for nearly 7 years and I am so pleased I chose Circus for my first daughter all those years ago. All the staff are so supportive and care so much about the children. It has been so easy dropping my third child off knowing that
some of the staff looking after him also looked after my first daughter and know our family.


Circus is an absolutely fantastic nursery - even though I have changed jobs and my oldest is now at school, which means that Circus is no longer ‘en route’ in the morning - I happily make the journey round Cheltenham so I can drop my two youngest off at nursery and know that they will have a wonderful day and be so well cared for.

Our son has been attending Circus days since he was 10 months old and the experience in each group he’s been in has been fantastic. The staff are fantastic and really take time to get to know each child individually. My son has learnt so much from being at the nursery to me he seems ready for pre-school
already! But more importantly, I’ve been impressed with the social skills he has developed at circus days. My husband and I chose circus days after visiting and witnessing the genuine care that the staff provide. We have been so happy with our choice.

Circus Day Nursery is outstanding, and as an old school qualified National Nursery Examination Board with very high standards, this was a very hard choice to leave my child at a settlement, but this decision was put at ease and Circus Day Nursery ticked every box and more.
My daughter loves what she
calls “school” and I’m sure all their hard work, love and support an easy and smooth transition to school.
Always highly recommending to friends and colleagues.

I’m so glad that we chose this nursery for our son. He has thrived during his time at Circus and I am perfectly satisfied that he has obtained all the skills necessary to progress into a primary school environment. They have helped create a confident, intelligent and enthusiastic little boy and he couldn’t
be happier.


The nursery is located on a beautiful road in a spacious building with excellent outdoor facilities. Having a good variety of spaces to run, play and learn was important to us and this nursery definitely delivers on that. It is the staff at Circus that are the main selling point though, and you will be hard pushed to find a nursery with more enthusiastic, loving and nurturing staff. I couldn’t have found a perfect setting for my child and will be sad to leave them when the time comes to move on to pastures new.

My little boy started at Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school Ltd when he was about 7 months old. One of the things that really appealed to me when I first visited Circus was the outside space as it is a rarity in Cheltenham. I was also impressed to see risk assessments displayed throughout the building
and a visit to the kitchen showed excellent cleanliness, facilities and food selection. Starting in the baby suite, it was a fantastic environment for my little boy both developmentally and socially. The baby facilities were excellent and we couldn't have asked for more. When the time came to move up to the next level, the transition was seamless and he has excelled and loves his days at nursery. One of the best things about Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school Ltd is the staff. They really are a credit and my little boy adores them. They provide a support to me as a parent that I never expected to receive and I couldn't wish for better.

Both my boys absolutely love going to Circus Day nursery. I could not ask for more from a nursery, the staff are amazing, the relationships they build with the children are nurturing and caring and they learn so much whilst having lots of fun. Such a friendly positive setting, I will actually miss it
too when they move on to School!

All the staff at Circus Day nursery have made my daughter feel safe and loved in the year and a half she's been there. She frequently tells me who she loves (the staff looking after her, but also the kids in her class - showing she's being taught how to be good friends).
They also have real patience
with a mum who probably worries too much!
The facilities are fantastic - especially the gardens. The variety of activities she does is reassuring - and she has really learnt a lot from being in Circus Nursery. She's always surprising me with something new that I know she must have learnt at the nursery. There's a great balance between all the messy fun activities, quiet time, free play and a real commitment to getting outside come rain or shine.
The menu is varied - she eats food at the nursery that she doesn't at home and they deal with her allergies well.
There's a real sense of trust between her carers and us.

We are so pleased we chose Circus. They have been looking after my daughter for just over 2 years now and my son around 6 months. Everyone who works in the setting is so warm and welcoming and the kids love them all. They are very accommodating to each child’s needs and try as much as possible to take
into account parents wishes. I love that the children go outside every day (unless the weather is really awful) and have loads of space to explore in the big garden. I feel happy knowing that my children are being well looked after and having lots of fun when they are there. I would recommend Circus to anyone.

Our son attended Circus Day Nursery from 4 months to 4 years. Especially in the early days when leaving our tiny baby in the hands of others, the staff exceeded any expectations! They were so caring and full of enthusiasm and guided us through weaning and later potty training and towards the end phonics
and a fab end of year performance. Circus organised so many fun activities and offered so much variety and stimulation, we could not have asked for more.

Both my little girl and boy attended the Circus Day Nursery, starting as babies and leaving to go off to school. I could not have asked for a more happy, creative, stimulating and loving environment to leave my children in while my husband and I went off to work. The staff treat each child with so much
love and care and ensure that each day is full of fun and excitement with new experiences to stimulate learning. The Circus is truly a fabulous nursery which has enabled my children to be sociable, confident, and assured in all that they do. It has undoubtedly contributed to them flourishing.

This is a fantastic nursery. Not only are there lovely facilities, an amazing garden and freshly cooked meals, most importantly there is amazing staff! I can truly say that our little girl has formed a lasting bond with all of the people that have cared for her. They have been personal in their approach,

Circus Day Nursery & Pre-School have been amazing, with my first child who started at 10 months and is now at school and my second who leaves for school in Aug this year. The staff really care and there is a very low staff turnover which is good for the children and also good for me as a parent as it
shows me they love what they do and have a great team spirit and are happy in their work. This is demonstrated to me daily, they always have time to tell me how the day has been and are supportive when there have been any changes in my children's behaviour (as is par for the course!). My kids LOVE the staff, and if we see them out of the nursery setting they still run up for cuddles. They have been to see plays, gone to the park, literature festival. The learning reviews are great, you receive a full journal of their progress, my eldest was wonderfully prepared for school by them. From being an anxious mother dropping my little boy off at 10 months, it has been a wonderful journey. Best of all the kids love it!

We were really apprehensive about having to send our son to a nursery at 11 months old, but we fell in love with the setting as soon as we looked round - especially the outside space, and secret garden! Our son has now been at Circus Day Nursery for over a year and a half and absolutely loves it. He
looks forward to going in and seeing his friends every day - it was so hard for us to leave him in the care of others all day, but knowing he is with the team at Circus really makes it so much easier... and to say he enjoys his day is an understatement!

My son started nursery when he was only 6 months old and he settled soon very well. Since then he has developed in so many ways. He is now a confident and happy boy and I have to thank all the amazing staff at Circus Day Nursery for that.

Love staff at Circus day nursery. I was a bit apprehensive to send my son to any nursery (talk about new mum apprehensions) at 11 months but all the staff, including managers, made us feel very welcomed and helped settle not only my little one but helped us (parents) go through the transition smoothly.
Now, he has moved from baby suite to jugglers and he absolutely loves going to nursery. He talks about all the activities he does with his room staff and actually wants to go to nursery on Saturday and Sundays, who knew he would love being there so much. Now, his little sister will be joining him in nursery too and can’t wait for her to grow tremendously like her brother. I’m positive all the staff will make her fall in love with nursery too.
