Circus Day Nursery Ltd has been established with a focus on quality early years learning, taking pride in an atmosphere where children can thrive and feel motivated.

A large garden and flexible range of play resources allows for a flexible approach to key early years goals, as well as many additional courses such as Fun French, First Aid Awareness, Spanish, Tappy Toes sessions to name but a few additional activities for little ones to enjoy

An all-weather surface and canopy means there is the opportunity for outdoor play whatever the weather, with children enjoying the nature section with the rabbits.

As well as a skilled approach to education, the nursery also supports healthy eating, supporting each individual child's diet. The head chef has a wonderful array of beautiful recipes the children love and thoroughly enjoy.

  • From £82.55 per day, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, nappies, and formula feeds. Government Funding is available for eligible 9-month-olds, 2-year-olds, and 3-4-year-olds. Consumable charges may be applicable during funded hours (subject to terms and conditions).

  • We offer government funding from 9 month old children and can take care of the administration and support with any paperwork required. Limited spaces are available, so please contact us and arrange your personal tour of our beautiful setting. We are a family-run business, established in 1997 with a long-term dedicated staff team

My youngest daughter has been at Circus Day Nursery for a few months now, she absolutely loves it and we are so pleased we choose Circus.
All the staff are so caring, helpful and friendly and our daughter's keyworker is fantastic.
So many positives:
Great setting (not our closest nursery but certainly
worth the commute)
Good facilities with regular varied activities.
So nice to get regular feedback and to see all the fun she’s been up to.
Lovely trips outside the nursery.
We thoroughly recommend Circus to anyone looking for quality childcare.

We have 2 girls attending Circus Nursery, 1 4-year-old and 1 18month old. Both absolutely love it. The older one goes on so many trips and does so many activities that it is no wonder she loves going and asks if she’s going every morning. They just have the most fun. She always wants to stay longer
when we go to collect her. The staff are all amazing, they do so much with them every day. We’re so pleased we chose Circus Nursery when we recently moved to the area. It took no time at all for them to settle into a new nursery.

Both my children (girl and boy) go to Circus Day Nursery and they both love going. It is almost sad how they run off to play with their friends and key workers rather than say goodbye to Daddy. My eldest daughter is in pre-school and has loved all her time in the various groups. My youngest is now coming
up to his second year and Circus Day Nursery have repeated the trick of making sure he can’t wait to come in each morning. Both my kids are very different from each other but both love their days at Circus Day Nursery.


They do field trips out to the library, theatre, literary festival or just down to a local park, either walking into town or by catching the bus.


The key workers do have a good connection with the children and this has happened in each group. I get a good update each day on what the child has done, slept, eaten and generally how they are.


I would highly recommend Circus Day Nursery to any of my friends.

Both of my children go to Circus Day Nursery. My 4-year-old boy goes to preschool and loves it, he asks to go on his days off! They do such a variety of things and there are a lot of opportunities and experiences open to them including trips and clubs by outside providers.
My little girl is approaching
20 months and has been attending Circus Day Nursery since she was 9 months old. She has settled well due to such caring and loving staff.


We couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery. The facilities are amazing, especially the garden. They are always looking to improve. The staff are what make it, they are all so approachable and lovely with the children, you can tell they really care!

Wonderfully friendly and energetic staff who make the environment fun and welcoming for the children.
Always lots of activities going on and a chance for the kids to get involved in lots of different things.
My daughter enjoys every minute she spends at the nursery and is always sad when it comes
to home time!

My daughter has been going to Circus for about 18 months. She loves going to nursery and has made lots of lovely friends. The outdoor space is wonderful and I love the fact that there are animals.
The staff are always friendly and helpful, and she has formed strong bonds with key workers.
I would
highly recommend Circus to anyone and my second daughter will be starting there in September. I can relax at work knowing my daughter is happy and being taken very good care of.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Circus day nursery. Our eldest joined the Acrobat room around six months ago. He’d previously been at a different nursery and I was a little apprehensive of the move to a new setting, particularly as we’d only just had our youngest and naturally worried
about too much change. Nevertheless, from the initial viewing until now every encounter with them has been great. My little boy loves going to nursery and loves the outdoor space and facilities available. I’m sure my youngest will enjoy it too. Thank you to all at Circus!

My twins have been going to Circus Nursery since they were one, they're now four. They absolutely love it. In each room they've been in, the staff have made so much effort to ensure that they have the best day possible, and they have bonded so well with every member of staff that's looked after them.
I could not recommend Circus more highly.

My child has attended Circus Day for three days a week for five months. I am so pleased with his development in all areas. His confidence and social skills are excellent. The staff and his key workers are friendly, reliable and helpful. They have supported me and my son throughout stages such as weaning,
feeding and sleeping habits. Staff are always available to discuss any concerns or just general updates from the day. The thought of leaving your child at nursery all day can be daunting but Circus Day have made me feel so relaxed and confident about my decision to put my son with their care.

Both of our children have attended Circus Day Nursery from the age of six months through to school age and we have been nothing but impressed throughout. The mix of play and learning is fantastic and both children love(d) attending every day without fail.
We never have to worry about our children whilst
at Circus and know they are in good hands, whilst being prepared for school life.
The staff are extremely dedicated and it is clear they really care for the children especially two members of staff who have been fantastic for the past six years!
The variation to the daily routines mean that no two days are the same, and our daughter always comes home with new stories and skills.
My wife and I will be very sad to say goodbye to Circus in November as it has been a massive part of our lives and a positive influence on both our children.
I would recommend them to anyone.

Circus Day Nursery is amazing! The care from the team, the setting and atmosphere and the opportunities my daughter is having in the Preschool is great preparation for school (phonics, science, French!) We will be sad when she leaves to go to school. My daughter is always happy to go and adores the
