Circus Day Nursery Ltd has been established with a focus on quality early years learning, taking pride in an atmosphere where children can thrive and feel motivated.

A large garden and flexible range of play resources allows for a flexible approach to key early years goals, as well as many additional courses such as Fun French, First Aid Awareness, Spanish, Tappy Toes sessions to name but a few additional activities for little ones to enjoy

An all-weather surface and canopy means there is the opportunity for outdoor play whatever the weather, with children enjoying the nature section with the rabbits.

As well as a skilled approach to education, the nursery also supports healthy eating, supporting each individual child's diet. The head chef has a wonderful array of beautiful recipes the children love and thoroughly enjoy.

  • We offer government funding from 9 month old children and can take care of the administration and support with any paperwork required. Limited spaces are available, so please contact us and arrange your personal tour of our beautiful setting. We are a family-run business, established in 1997 with a long-term dedicated staff team

Management is absolutely awful, no communication regarding safeguarding issues. The manager refused to speak on the phone and sent a snotty email full of lies. Would not send your child here whatsoever, awful manager and awful Ofsted report. The nursery tried to safeguard for child going in with a bump
but when my child came home with a huge bump and no incident form or communication regarding the bump it was absolutely okay.

From the start of my son going to Circus, I have constantly been impressed by the level of commitment, enthusiasm and compassion of the staff. They are warm, kind people who genuinely care about the children. The facilities at the nursery are also excellent, particularly the outdoor space. My son loves

As a family, we have loved our boys being at Circus. They started during Covid and, from the first day till their last, we have been blown away by how the Circus staff have nurtured, encouraged and loved our boys. They have significantly contributed to the boys they are today and we could not be more
grateful or thankful to the staff. As a parent who works, you are always so torn to leave your children, but time and time again I have known they are safe and cared for so well. Be it when they are ill or at drop-off, I know they are in the best place, next to being with us. So grateful to you all.

My son has been with Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school for nearly 12 months now and absolutely loves it. This is the second nursery he has attended after he didn’t settle in the first, so I was very nervous about starting again. But the team are incredible and he’s thrived since joining. He’s been in
the baby suite and most recently Clowns and every member of staff is brilliant. Entrusting your baby to other people is hard, but I would recommend Circus to everyone!

My husband and I are thrilled with our choice of Circus Day Nursery and would highly recommend it to any parent. Our son went in relatively early at only 5 months which was a difficult decision for us but his care and focus on his development have been outstanding. He is extremely happy there and we
feel like Circus and its staff are a part of our son’s extended family, such is his affection for his carers. Communication is excellent, with regular pictures and updates on the app, the facilities are beautiful and we feel confident every morning that he will have a wonderful day.

My daughter enjoys her activities in Clowns (under 2's). She's always doing new things, including music, painting, crafting and we feel that she is safe and happy. The outdoor area is the best we've seen. The team update us in person about her day when we collect her and also add photos and stories
to the online portal for us to view. We're really happy we chose Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school Ltd.

I just wanted to say how impressed I have been so far with Circus, especially the lady in the baby suite. My daughter had her settling sessions this week and she has loved them, as a parent I have felt extremely confident with the care provided to her, and we are looking forward to her time at Circus

We are really happy with the car provided at Circus Day Nursery. The staff are friendly and caring and my daughter is very happy here. The outside space if great and there are always lots of planned activities which support creative and emotional development.

My son currently attends Circus Day Nursery and we couldn’t be more pleased with the education and care that he receives! Each day of activities is well thought-out, engaging and fun. His team of carers are dedicated, passionate and very knowledgeable about early years. I’m blown away daily by all the
new things that my son comes home telling me about from songs he learned to stories he heard, role-playing fun he’s had, or outdoor adventures he’s been on in the garden. He is gaining new skills and knowledge every session. Also, he loves all of the home-cooked meals!


My son is very happy at Circus and I feel that the education that he receives is setting him up very well for when he starts school next year, and helping him continue to grow into a wonderful, caring and imaginative little boy. My second son will be joining later this year and I feel confident returning to work in the knowledge that my two boys will be well looked after and happy!

My daughter attended Circus Day Nursery from eighteen months to four years and had a wonderful time. My twenty-two month old son now attends. I can't praise the staff at Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school enough! Right from the start, they have shown great care and attentiveness to my son. On more than one occasion, they have gone above and beyond my expectations.
My son's daily life and language skills have advanced dramatically since starting
at Circus. Thank you!
My only suggestion would be to set up a little welcome pack - knowing the usual pick-up times and general routines etc. would have been very helpful in the beginning.

My daughter has been at Circus Day Nursery part-time for about six months now. She was a lockdown baby and very unsure with people when she started but she was happy and comfortable at nursery much more quickly than I expected. The staff have always been great at fostering a really cooperative relationship
to help her thrive. They give thorough updates and very considerate contributions toward her development. It is a great comfort to know that her carers really do care about her, beyond just making sure she is safe. She is happy and confident with people now and although she only attends a couple of days a week I attribute a lot of her confidence to nursery.

Our little boy loves his time at Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school and always comes out smiling and content. We love how much time is spent outdoors and that he has so many different experiences. I am so pleased my boys go to Circus Day Nursery & Pre-school Ltd! It's such a lovely, homely nursery. It's spacious, has lots of fun and varied play spaces, they even have pet degus!
