Kings Castle Montessori Nursery School

My son has recently graduated from Kings after 3 delightful years there. You will be hard-pushed to find a more loving and caring setting for your child. The staff here genuinely love what they do and the passion is fully reflected in their efforts and energy towards the children. A lot of time and a personalised approach is given to every child and my son has become a very kind and independent little boy. Thanks to all of the teachers and the very dedicated Manager, we would choose you every time!

Our son started at Kings when he was 1 year old and what a journey it has been for us all. I cannot believe that today it was his last day at the setting. Our son was diagnosed with ASD and all the staff have worked extremely hard to accommodate his special education needs. The SENCo was so helpful throughout the process of the EHCP. Our son's 1:1 worker has been amazing with our son since she started a year ago. All the other staff have been great too. The Nursery Manager has been fantastic and I can't thank her enough for all the support and for ensuring all was in place to meet his needs. We had several meetings in the last 2 years following our son's diagnosis to talk through the challenges and how they could support him. Also, they have liaised with all professionals involved. Kings Castle will be forever in our hearts.

My daughter attended the nursery summer 2021. The care she received was outstanding, the staff are super friendly and patient in helping her to settle in which she did very quickly. Just by attending a few days a week she came on leaps and bounds in so many ways. I really couldn’t of asked for a better nursery and always felt at ease dropping her off knowing she was in good hands. Thankyou to all the staff at kings castle Montessori.

Kings Castle is amazing. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our energetic boy. He loves going to nursery every day and he learned and grew so much. The staff are wonderful, they do an amazing job every day (even during this difficult time of pandemic). They really do care about the well-being of all the children. I am really sad that we cannot send our younger boy there too (it doesn't work for us anymore driving so far away for drop off and pick up, we live half an hour drive away from the setting). We can't thank them enough for the work they do and we will miss them dearly. We hope this review will help parents to choose Kings Castle as we can't recommend them enough!

Wonderful setting! My son loves being outdoors - the garden set up is very impressive as there's so many stations equipped for them to learn and have fun while doing so. We are very happy with this nursery and all it has to offer.

We are very happy with this Montessori nursery. Our child has been in the Baby room for 8 months now and is now moving to the toddler room (based on her development, not age only). The staff there are so professional and kind and lovely, so baby-oriented.

Kings Castle is such a caring and wonderful nursery. Both of our boys currently attend the setting, one in the baby room and one in the pre-school room. The staff are so wonderful in keeping us informed of the child’s day-to-day progress and development. They have a true passion and commitment to the role they play. The nursery did such a tremendous job during lockdown to keep the children safe and keeping us informed of everything that was going on. I really do think of them as an extended family to our boys.

The nursery staff have done a fabulous job of keeping everything normal for my son in this difficult time. Despite the COVID restrictions his experience has been remarkably unaffected and is learning loads and feel confident he will be ready for school in September. Thank you to all the staff for a brilliant job .

I recently asked my little boy, who is currently in the pre-school rooms of Kings, what his baby sister will like most about the nursery when she is big enough to go. I think his answer - "the teachers" - says it all. ln addition to all of the amazing activities inside and out, and the beautiful environment, it is the teachers that make this nursery outstanding. My son loves going and I know he has a brilliant time there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

My second daughter started at Kings Castle nursery aged 10 months after being born on the second day of lockdown 2020. I was worried about how she'd settle after being at home with just us for a whole year but I needn't be worried at all. The staff are just wonderful, so warm and welcoming and really helped her transition and to settle well. Lots of love and affection, distractions and play. She was doing 3 full days after just 4 settle sessions. Now launches herself into nursery and is so happy when I come and collect her. The environment is amazing for the little ones and they all have access to outside space which is so very Important. I send my own food in which they will heat up for her but all the snacks are well balanced and healthy. I regularly receive artwork from her daily activities and love hearing about her day. The nursery have a fab parent app so communication is so easy and they share photos with you too. I'm so glad she loves it there. Peace of mind when working.

As a family, we love Kings Castle. Their love for the children is seen in abundance and everything they strive for is to look after, nurture and educate our children. The Montessori approach helps develop children into being independent, kind, loving and to have a passion for learning. The nursery not only supports their emotional and social development but also prepares them beautifully for school. My eldest and, soon to be, middle child will have gone to school without any concerns about not being ready. We can’t thank all the staff enough. We will not be hesitating in sending our youngest to Kings Castle in due course.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My little boy has been attending Kings Castle since he was 6 months old, he's now in his last few months before big school. We had 4 nurseries lined up when initially choosing and Kings Castle stood out by far, the atmosphere of happy children, great staff, super clean and homely. My little boy absolutely loves his nursery, the staff are so encouraging and have been so supportive throughout. They are absolutely lovely and the best team to have around children, I can't fault them in any way and so thankful for what they have done to prepare my little one for his bright future.

My daughter loves her time at Kings Castle and we couldn't be happier with the care and education she receives there. Her progress in all areas of learning, social skills and self care have been exceptional, due to the dedication of all the staff.

The best place for my son that I could imagine. Very friendly and professional staff with very good communication between parents and staff. My son has a good care there, he seems very happy with his friends and teachers. Highly recommend.

My son has been with King's Castle for just over 2 years, he absolutely loves going to nursery which is always a relief for any parent. The staff are so attentive and caring, always friendly and willing to help, they always update me on his progress. They are excellent with his allergies so I don’t need to worry about that. He has come on so much developmentally with his language and confidence and is excelling in most areas, which I am over the moon about. I would highly recommend King's Castle to other parents.

Kings Castle is a wonderful nursery. The staff are nurturing and kind and my daughter has grown from strength to strength. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. It is a wonderful environment for my daughter to be in. Thank you.
