Puffins at Clystheath

We’ve had nothing but a great experience with Puffins! My child attends here and absolutely loves it! My son was a bit behind with his speech, but since being at Puffins, they have encouraged him incredibly. They upload regular pictures for parents, including notes about meals, nappies, etc! They’ve introduced teeth brushing, which has taught my child to make sure he brushes his teeth every day, and they make their birthdays so special! The staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming! Lovely little place too! 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Their computer program almost never works and when it did they usually hadn't posted anything.

The team go above and beyond to look after your child and help them settle in. Our Son loves the team there and I feel confident leaving him with the baby room who get to know each child and their family as a whole, making the experience of nursery an asset for all.

My daughter started attending this nursery at 9 months old and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are always friendly, informative and clearly love the children and where they work. The children get involved in a range of activities, have use of a great garden and also get taken out for day trips. It has been a great peace of mind for me knowing my daughter has been well taken care of, thank you!

Both of our children have spent their early years at Puffins Clystheath and we highly recommend it. The team genuinely care about the children, help them to develop and grow, and ensure that they enjoy themselves. Our youngest still attends and when we pick him up, we know that he has had a great day and enjoyed playing with his friends. We know that he is in safe hands and that his careers will look after him if he isn’t 100% happy. Our eldest, who is now six, recently had a glowing parents evening report from his teacher and I would credit Puffins for helping us to raise him in the way that we have. If we had the opportunity to place children in a nursery again, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose Puffins.

Since joining the nursery in May 2021, my son's speech and development have come on loads and especially in the last month or so. The staff are always friendly and approachable when needed. My son always comes home happy!

My daughter has been attending Puffins at Clystheath since she was 10 months old, now at the age of 4, she is still loving it. After looking around other settings I loved Puffins as it stood out from the rest. Everyone is so friendly and I have seen my daughter's confidence grow. I'm always amazed at how much she has learnt week by week. I love seeing the pictures of her showing what she has been up to. Definitely recommend.

Very professional and friendly staff, my daughter enjoys going to Puffins Clystheath not far from our house. It is a very friendly area and my daughter is very happy and we’re already noticing an improvement in her speech and behaviour.

An utterly brilliant environment for my son and daughter. The staff are wonderful with the children and I have watched both of mine develop in confidence since they started Puffins. They both look forward to nursery and have a really happy time. We are 100% satisfied with the service Puffins provides as a family.

Our little girl has been attending Puffins at Clystheath for the past couple of months. Since joining aged 1, we have seen her confidence grow enormously. Her cognitive and more noticeably, her physical development, have developed as a result of all the activities and opportunities she is given by the nursery staff and the facilities on site. The settling-in period was well managed and tailored to our individual needs. We were able to ‘slot in’ some additional sessions to ensure our little girl was happy and familiarised with the nursery before starting longer days. The staff are really enthusiastic and willing to share with you the events from the day. They are reassuring when needed and particularly at the beginning, it was no trouble to make extra calls to reassure that the day was going well. A lovely addition of the ParentZone app is such a great way to keep parents informed of what the children are doing and to share photographs and special moments throughout the day.

The whole team at Puffins are exceptional. My daughter is so excited every time she goes and has developed hugely since attending. Knowing that she is having a wonderful time makes it so much easier when dropping her in the mornings. I like the use of the app, where I can see pictures and updates of her day. I would highly recommend the nursery, the team are great.

My son has been attending Puffins at Clystheath for nearly 2 years and is currently in the Bumblebee room. We have been so pleased with this nursery. He loves his time there and the staff are wonderful - friendly, professional and helpful, and great fun with the children. I know that I am leaving him in safe hands and that he will be well taken care of. We considered a few settings when choosing a nursery but I am very pleased with our choice and would definitely recommend Puffins at Clystheath.

My 2-year-old started in January 2021 and he’s come on so much since starting! I love hearing what he’s done and eaten during the day. He always comes out in such a great mood, and his speech has come on a lot too which is amazing! All the staff are always so happy and friendly when picking him up and dropping him off. I always recommend Puffins when people ask about nurseries!

My daughter attended Puffins at Clystheath since she was about 1-year-old until recently when she left to go to school. She very much enjoyed attending the nursery. It has a friendly atmosphere, and the children are well looked after. My daughter particularly enjoyed it when the staff would take the children out to the local park or to see the trains.

My child has moved onto school now after leaving Puffins but had an amazing time with the team there, she was well looked after and developed the skills she needs to be confident in going onto school. Thank you so much to all of the team at Puffins who played a big part in helping my child to gain key skills she needs in early life.

My 2 children love Puffins at Clystheath. They are relaxed, happy and have been very supported throughout the pandemic situation. The staff are caring, friendly and work really hard to make the environment a supportive learning environment.

I have a 2-year old that we send to Puffins at Clystheath. Prior to there she went to a different local nursery and cried every day going in.

From the first day in Puffins, she has become a different child. Her learning, social skills and overall confidence has come on leaps and bounds.

I can't recommend Puffins Clyst Heath enough. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and inspire confidence that your children are in good care. We chose Puffins before they received their Ofsted outstanding rating as the setting had a great atmosphere and felt like a great environment for our little ones. We were really chuffed for them when they achieved the well-deserved accolade. Regular parents evenings keep us well informed of their progress as does their online learning diary. Our eldest has just left after attending from nine months to nearly five and always looked forward to his days there. Our one year old now attends two days a week and seems to enjoy it just as much as his big brother did.

Puffins is a fantastic nursery. My son was extremely happy and being at Puffins has helped equip him for school.
