Lovely nursery. My son is very happy there and loves going. The staff are brilliant and clearly care about all the children. Would highly recommend them.

All the staff are professional and consistent, and you can tell they truly care about making the children's daily experiences as enriching as possible. The children often go on trips around the local area, and there are so many activities designed to progress their learning. We want to give a particular shoutout to Darcie and Amara, who have both been instrumental in our daughter's care. They are both wonderful, and she looks forward to seeing them every day. Emma in Bumblebees has also been lovely and a consistently supportive person to us. We truly couldn't ask for a better nursery for our daughter and would recommend Puffins at Clystheath to any family.

It's clean but 'messy' - a great environment to learn in.

The communication is amazing at this nursery we love the daily updates. I have 1 child in preschool and 1 in under 3 and they both love coming here and are doing amazing. The staff couldn't do enough.

Really friendly. My daughter and I feel at ease. All staff go above and beyond. It's also a clean, fun place for the children to spend the day. I really feel that my daughter develops a lot from going to Puffins. I can't recommend enough!

Excellent nursery with lovely, caring staff who are always supportive and attentive. My child has really enjoyed attending and has developed so much since starting there. The activities are engaging and well planned, and communication with parents is always clear and professional. Everyone at puffins in the city are brillant, they have been amazing since my son started in January and never had a problem. They have continued to help him grow and he's always such a happy child leaving due to having a good day.

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives at Puffins (City) The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. The activities are engaging and age-appropriate, and we've seen our daughter's confidence and social skills blossom since she started attending in January 2026.

Keeley, made the introduction into Nursery for us all simple and with ease. Giving us time to talk and explain the layout of the days. We can't thank her enough for her time and effort relieving us of any anxiety!

The nursery provides a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. We particularly appreciate the focus on outdoor play and the healthy meals provided. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and opportunities to discuss our daughter's progress via an App and in person during drop offs and pick ups.

Overall, Puffin's has exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to any parent looking for childcare in Nursery.

My son has been attending puffins in Dawlish for 5 months now. He absolutely loves it, he settled in very quickly. The staff and management have been very accommodating and helpful from day one and this has only got better. The communication is great and as parents we really get a feel of what our child has been doing and up to in the days. Since our boy has attending he patience, speech, eating and play has becoming so much better and he is picking up things so well, the nursery are so positive and really want the best for the children there. I cannot fault Puffins's what so ever. Every member of staff in the pre school room has been amazing with him but especially Evie, Sophie, Louise and Amy. Abi has also been so understanding with us and our son and doing so much to support us and him. I cannot thank them enough or recommend them enough.

My little one has been going to puffins at Westcliff for a year now and absolutely loves going there. There are so many activities to challenge them and help them learn. The indoor and outdoor setting are wonderful and it's a joy to see how my little one is thriving every day. I feel that puffins has contributed immensely to his development and socialisation skills. He loves all the staff that look after him, but has a particular fondness for Emily his key worker and can't stop saying her name at every opportunity. He loves his food and enjoys the variety of healthy, balanced meals he gets there. I would Highly recommend puffins at westcliff to anyone that is thinking of sending there little ones to nursery.

Honestly the last five months have been so fantastic for my son. I can't thank the kind, thoughtful, caring and happy staff enough! It has been so wonderful to see the efforts they go to, engaging in walks around the quay, visiting child friendly venues around Exeter. The app makes it so nice to see what he is up to and communicate with the team.

Puffins is an amazing nursery my child has been going since it opened. Sophie and Evie have been absolutely amazing! Along with all the other workers aswell and manager Abbie is great. My child is always happy to go into nursery infact she can not wait to get in, she has so much fun they do so much for her and they are so informative and so kind and caring I just love it. I am so happy with the care they provide. I actually don't have any negatives to say and I will be so sad when she leaves in August to start primary school. Keep doing what your doing puffins at westcliff because your all amazing and superstars

My two children have been attending here since September 2025. My daughter started at 11 months and my son at 2.5 years. After the initial separation anxiety, they love it. This morning they both headed in eagerly with hugs for the staff, almost forgetting to even say bye to me.

I was very anxious about having to put them in nursery but i needn't have worried as they enjoy it so much.

The staff in all areas, baby, bumblebees and preschool have been brilliant.

Everything I want from a nursery, delightful, proffessional stafff, clean building, clear communication.

Couldnt be happier, my daughter loves it and has grown more confident and engaged every week she is there.

My Daughter started at Puffins five months ago and I've been amazed at how her confidence has grown and speech has come on since she started. Most importantly she loves her nursery days, she's always happy to go in and comes out singing new songs. I love the app, seeing photos of what she's been up to means we can talk about her day when she gets home. I can't fault the care and attention she gets and knowing that's she's happy allows me to get on with my work without any worries. Thank you to the whole team at Westcliff.

All the team are brilliant and have completely put my mind at ease, especially in their management of his allergy. My son enjoys playing outside at nursery and there are so many activities for him to enjoy! I appreciate all the updates on the nursery app during the day.

My daughter started at puffins in the under 3's and the team have been fantastic. Sophie has been exceptional with the transition for my daughter who has found it hard to part with me, as well as myself and has been nothing but supportive. Everything is great, from the staff to the facility. We see a big improvement on how Lucas communicate, they have done great job in helping us improve Luke communication skills. Before he entered the nursery, my child can only say No or Yes only simple word but now he can express himself in a complete sentence. We also see improvement on his social skills, he is now starting to play with other children. Thank you for all your effort and doing really great job in for looking after our Lucas and all other children.

We have had a fantastic experience with Puffins on West Street. Our daughter has loved it from the day she started. The staff are really welcoming and friendly. My daughter seems to love all the adventures they get up to in and around Exeter! We get lots of lovely updates on the fab things they do with them. Sasha the manager is fantastic with the children, quick with communication and simply lovely!
