Puffins at Clystheath

My niece has thrived since being at Clystheath Puffins, her speech has greatly developed as well as her social skills. She goes on exciting trips and adventures the staff are excellent and are very accommodating to all needs. Overall, an excellent nursery!

They explore different kinds of activities, especially during preschool. During the year, they go outside to take some walks at the local park or library or even to see the trains. I would like to leave my appreciation to all staff for the support we received during this time.

I cannot praise Clystheath Puffins enough. They have been amazing with my son's transition from a previous nursery that did not suit him. They have made me feel at ease with offering help should he need any additional support and made us both feel so welcome. They have provided all the support love and care he needs so far and kept me up to date with how his day has been with pictures on the app. All staff are smiley and positive and do lots of fun activities with the children.

I would 100% recommend, as the manager and staff are just brilliant and really made my little girl comfortable, and relaxed and she's always coming out excited to tell me about her day what she's done and where she's been etc.

My little one loves going to this nursery! The girls there are so good with her and put our minds to rest whilst we are working by updating the app throughout the day. My little one seems to get a varied diet there and takes part in different activities which stimulate her mind.

My children have attended Puffins from the baby group right up until preschool, the staff have been completely amazing at supporting both myself and my children. The bond each member of staff forms with each individual child is amazing, it massively helps with supporting and catering to their needs and has helped ease my nerves with regard to leaving my children in safe hands. I couldn't recommend Puffins, Clystheath enough, a big thank you!

I couldn't be happier than how the nursery staff have welcomed our son in his first week. I can tell he has already started to form bonds with the nursery staff and they have identified activities that he was interested in very quickly, which has made the settling-in process as stress-free as it could be.

My son started with Puffins Clystheath in July. The settling-in process was so fantastic, regular sessions with and without me as well as a home visit meant that both I and my son were prepared for his first full day. I have really spent most days with my son since he was born so to allow someone else to take care of him was a huge deal. The girls, particularly his key worker, have all been so warm and kind to us both, they have made the entire process so easy. Now we look forward to Wednesdays as I know he's in the best hands and he is going to have a fun-filled day. I can't recommend Puffins enough, they have been fantastic from the get-go.

My son has been at Puffins going on 2 months now and he absolutely loves it. He’s always happy to get there and always has a big smile when I pick him up. The entire team are so amazing and are very attentive to everything the children are doing. They genuinely care about the well-being of each child and have noticed small changes which they will always let the parent know so that we can also monitor those changes. The updates on meals, sleep, nappy changes & activity pictures give me a peace of mind as a parent. I’m really grateful for everyone - you guys are awesome. General communication is great as well - one staff member is always amazing in her communication. I’m glad I chose Puffins. I'd definitely recommend getting your child in there if you get the chance. It’s great value for money. My son couldn’t be happier which makes me happy! Thank you guys.

My Son and Daughter have both attended Puffins at Clystheath over the years and I've been very impressed with it. Would definitely recommend. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I feel our children are happy and safe in the setting.

Our son has been with Puffins at Clystheath since the beginning of March 2022 and they have been nothing short of amazing. Very accommodating and flexible with bookings if I've needed to move on the odd occasion and I have been able to book in extra sessions. All the staff are so friendly and approachable and I really feel at ease when I leave him there. He's always so excited on the days he goes to nursery; he goes off no problem and comes out so happy. The nursery has been incredibly accommodating and understanding of our particular circumstances and arranged a show around at very short notice. They were very knowledgeable about the provision and could answer all my questions at the time. The settling sessions have been positive and all the staff are friendly and approachable. We are now looking forward to our daughter starting with the nursery and feel that the outdoor space coupled with the attentive and organised team will allow her to enjoy her days at Puffins at Clystheath.

The nursery has been amazing at supporting our son. He had a terrible food aversion and with the help of staff, he now eats perfectly. His social and language skills improved and the staff has been incredibly helpful with all of his needs. Can highly recommend it, our son loves attending and has a lot of fun.

Our daughter started in February 2022 and so far we’ve been really happy with the service. The staff are all very professional, friendly and engaging. If we’ve had a problem they have been very quick to sort anything out. They are happy to swap days and accommodate extra sessions which is reassuring when we’ve had to make unplanned short-notice amendments to our schedule. The online system is brilliant and we get updates throughout the day of sleeps, nappies, food and activities. The staff are all very friendly and caring. The process of putting her into nursery was made much easier knowing that she was in a safe and interactive environment.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for over a year now and on the whole, they are pretty great and I would recommend them.

We've had a few ups and downs regarding some of their policies and I think three disagreements at the door (over a 2 year period) but the staff are amazing, very kind, understanding and caring.

Honestly, these guys are a godsend and I have peace of mind leaving my little one there.

I am really happy sending my little boy here. He has learnt so much and I love seeing the new things he comes home knowing and doing. He is in the baby room and all the staff are really great, and he adores his care worker. We are really pleased to have got a place for him here. Thank you.

Since January my granddaughter has been attending nursery at Clystheath, her development has come on in leap and bounds thanks to the manager and staff.

I find them extremely kind and caring and very informative about any issue that my granddaughter may have encountered that day.

The manager and staff there are brilliant with updating the app so I can see what she’s been doing all day and I find that really comforting.

Overall, after having our daughter here for a year, we are very happy with the service and commitment of the staff. My daughter seems to enjoy it, and the feedback through the app is very good. The location is convenient. My only very minor complaint is that handover can be lengthy, but this might be the case at any nursery.
