Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City

My daughter enjoys the activities that Happy Days Nursery provide, she always comes home to tell me what she has been up to that day and it’s always exciting to talk together about it. The staff have been amazing at supporting her potty training and although the odd accident here or there she is nearly completely dry at home and at nursery. Although she can be tearful sometimes when I drop off, the girls are great at comforting her and plenty of cuddles when needed. She has been in each of the three rooms that the nursery provides and the staff and service have been great in each one.

He eats really well, there is a good variety of food served every day.

Returning to work can be an emotional time for a parent and handing your baby over to others to look after can be extremely hard. But all the team at the nursery have been amazing, welcoming and friendly. The genuine care that they have and show for my child puts my mind at rest that they are in the right place. When I first came to view the nursery I instantly felt it was the right one for us, so clean and fresh but also child friendly with lots of exciting things for all ages and abilities. My child is always happy to go to nursery and the handover is always easy to. At pick up the nursery staff are very good at letting me know what my child has been up to, eaten, enjoyed, slept, etc, which is great and feels like it keeps you involved. Since attending my child has come on leaps and bounds and the staff always seem as excited at every milestone as we are which is lovely.

The staff are so caring , they always go the extra mile to keep us informed about our child’s day and development.

We find the nursery a lovely place to be for our baby. He has developed quite well and is very happy at Happy Days.

My little boy has been coming to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City for 2 years now and I couldn't have wanted a better place for him to attend. All staff have been amazing, caring, friendly and way more. He settled in really well from the start and has always received lots of comfort and reassurance whenever he has needed it! He really loves coming to nursery and his individual needs have always been a high priority. I have always felt a family-centred approach to the team as well, they have always made sure I have also felt supported as a single mum, which makes a huge difference.

Incredibly friendly and approachable staff. Little girl just runs in with so much excitement every morning and always has so much to say about her day. Best decision to send her. Staff are also so reassuring and helpful with any questions we have.

Both my girls and I love the nursery's lovely atmosphere and very welcoming. The lovely staff make me feel so happy to leave my girls in their care. My oldest daughter used to go to nursery, she's now in school and during her time she had a lovely time. Even after she had an epileptic seizure the staff were so helpful. At the time I didn't know my daughter had epilepsy it was her first ever seizure and happened during nap time. The staff stayed with my daughter. Was working at the time and stayed with me supported above and beyond. Thank you so much everyone.

Friendly staff. Caring, approachable, hands-on nursery manager. Staff have got to know my child well over the last few months we have been at nursery - seem to enjoy being with him as much as he does them! My son loves his time at nursery. Varied, engaging activities suitable for his likes, interests and stage of development. Nothing seems too much trouble - dietary adjustments, sleep arrangements etc.

Our daughter loves nursery, she has come on since a baby and is now four. We will be sad to see her go to school this September. The staff at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City and the manager and deputy manager are more like family to us. They have been fantastic, loving and she asks everyday to come! She has loved every second. She's always learning everyday and coming home telling us what she's learnt today and done. The food is very nutritious and helped her be more adventurous with new foods! She's made loads of friends and nursery has definitely prepared her for school. There are not enough words for this team.

It has truly been a joy to watch my children grow into the joyful souls they are, under the supportive and watchful care of familiar and loving faces.

My little man is ready for his next adventure when he starts school in September and a massive part of this comes from the Happy Days team.

Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City has given us and our daughter peace of mind over the past few years, especially when faced with the uncertainty of the Coronavirus pandemic. The staff have done a fantastic job making the transition from Treliske nursery, and the facilities provide all of her needs. We receive regular newsletters and updates of current events and the staff are always happy to receive us whilst being flexible at the same time. I will be sad when our daughter leaves soon, the next chapter in her life will be to go to school and they have prepared her well for that. Many thanks, from us all!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. All the staff are friendly and helpful. My child has always been well cared for. Daily feedback is great and they always ensure I know how my child has been whilst in their care. Even in these uncertain times they have provided excellent care and provided parents with up to date info. Can not fault this nursery.

My little boy has been attending this Happy Days since he was about 18months old. We could not be happier with the care he has received. The staff have built a fantastic relationship with him and he loves being there. Because he has additional needs, some of his childcare professionals have also visited the nursery and have been equally impressed.

I would highly recommend this nursery.

We always hear what they have played with and enjoyed, lots of variety to choose from inside and outdoors. My eldest two were perfectly prepared for school and excited to take the next step and we know the third will be too. I am more than happy with the nursery and the great staff, would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, caring and a brilliant childcare provider.

I would highly recommend this nursery and will definitely be enrolling my new baby when it arrives.

Staff are very well trained. I felt very relaxed and happy to leave my son in there care.

I hadn't been to a Happy Days Nursery before, so it was a new experience for me and my two girls. Very helpful in moving my eldest from her old nursery to this one. My youngest is very attached and doesn't like to be left without me, so the staff were very helpful in helping with that. Also keeping me updated on their first days there.

Each time I pick up my little one she only has positive things to say about how much fun she has had, and more often than not she is bringing a drawing or craft home. I really like the themes they have every week. A lot of effort goes into the work the nursery does. Management are also super welcoming and very helpful with any changes required for days attending etc.
