Incredibly friendly and approachable staff. Little girl just runs in with so much excitement every morning and always has so much to say about her day. Best decision to send her. Staff are also so reassuring and helpful with any questions we have.

Both my girls and I love the nursery's lovely atmosphere and very welcoming. The lovely staff make me feel so happy to leave my girls in their care. My oldest daughter used to go to nursery, she's now in school and during her time she had a lovely time. Even after she had an epileptic seizure the staff
were so helpful. At the time I didn't know my daughter had epilepsy it was her first ever seizure and happened during nap time. The staff stayed with my daughter. Was working at the time and stayed with me supported above and beyond. Thank you so much everyone.

Friendly staff. Caring, approachable, hands-on nursery manager. Staff have got to know my child well over the last few months we have been at nursery - seem to enjoy being with him as much as he does them! My son loves his time at nursery. Varied, engaging activities suitable for his likes, interests
and stage of development. Nothing seems too much trouble - dietary adjustments, sleep arrangements etc.

Our daughter loves nursery, she has come on since a baby and is now four. We will be sad to see her go to school this September. The staff at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City and the manager and deputy manager are more like family to us. They have been fantastic, loving and she asks everyday
to come! She has loved every second. She's always learning everyday and coming home telling us what she's learnt today and done. The food is very nutritious and helped her be more adventurous with new foods! She's made loads of friends and nursery has definitely prepared her for school. There are not enough words for this team.

Given the stresses and strains upon everyone in the last year or so, it would have been easy (and understandable, in some contexts) for standards at nurseries to have dropped. After a location move, a new mix of staff on top of a worldwide pandemic things could have been very different, but Truro City
have excelled.
Despite all of the trials sent to us all over the last 12 months, the care provided at Happy Days Truro City has been nothing less than exemplary. At a time when we as NHS and keyworkers have been under massive pressure, the attention to detail, care and support given to the children at Truro City has been simply outstanding. With roles that are a heavy weight, it is lightening to know that our kiddos are being educated, cared for, loved and encouraged to play in a way that hasn't changed at all for them.
It has truly been a joy to watch my children grow into the joyful souls they are, under the supportive and watchful care of familiar and loving faces.

My 2 youngest children attend here after being at another setting. Transition was extremely smooth and at no point was I concerned about my children. The staff are second to none and will always make you feel as welcome as the children. My son has the best relationship with his key workers and I continually
see him develop and grow, he has become so much more confident and independent. The selection of meals is great and opened up my son to a wider range of foods and has become less fussy.
Whilst covid has become increasingly difficult for everyone the team at Treliske have consistently kept us informed and kept the children safe.
My little man is ready for his next adventure when he starts school in September and a massive part of this comes from the Happy Days team.

Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City has given us and our daughter peace of mind over the past few years, especially when faced with the uncertainty of the Coronavirus pandemic. The staff have done a fantastic job making the transition from Treliske nursery, and the facilities provide all of
her needs. We receive regular newsletters and updates of current events and the staff are always happy to receive us whilst being flexible at the same time. I will be sad when our daughter leaves soon, the next chapter in her life will be to go to school and they have prepared her well for that. Many thanks, from us all!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. All the staff are friendly and helpful. My child has always been well cared for. Daily feedback is great and they always ensure I know how my child has been whilst in their care. Even in these uncertain times they have provided excellent care and provided parents with

My little boy has been attending this Happy Days since he was about 18months old. We could not be happier with the care he has received. The staff have built a fantastic relationship with him and he loves being there. Because he has additional needs, some of his childcare professionals have also visited
the nursery and have been equally impressed.

My son started at this nursery in August 2020, I can't fault the amazing staff and care my son is given, he is always excited to go to nursery and he is thriving. Great location and parking facilities right outside the nursery.
The activities the nursery provide are outstanding he is always experiencing
something new.

Three of my children have attended Treliske Nursery over a six-year period (one is currently there). During this time scale, all three have had the same staff looking after them, which has been lovely as we felt we already knew them and trusted them when we returned with our third. The boys are always
happy to go in the mornings and enjoy the breakfast club. The staff are very caring towards my boys and a warm welcome always given to them and us as parents.
We always hear what they have played with and enjoyed, lots of variety to choose from inside and outdoors. My eldest two were perfectly prepared for school and excited to take the next step and we know the third will be too. I am more than happy with the nursery and the great staff, would highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, caring and a brilliant childcare provider.

My little boy has attended this nursery since he was ten months old and he is now four years old. All staff have been amazing with supporting my little boy, as well as myself. He loves going to nursery and always asks if its a nursery day in the mornings.
The nursery has just had the garden refurbished
and is a great outside area with lots of learning opportunities outside as well as inside. My little boy will be going to school in September and the staff have really prepared him for this next big adventure.
I would highly recommend this nursery and will definitely be enrolling my new baby when it arrives.

Fantastic clean and bright environment for my child! Staff were all fantastic with a friendly welcome! My son built up his confidence and development with the massive help from the nursery team!
Staff are very well trained. I felt very relaxed and happy to leave my son in there care.

I hadn't been to a Happy Days Nursery before, so it was a new experience for me and my two girls. Very helpful in moving my eldest from her old nursery to this one. My youngest is very attached and doesn't like to be left without me, so the staff were very helpful in helping with that. Also keeping
me updated on their first days there.

My 3 year old has been struggling with separation anxiety - but the staff have been wonderful in their help, and every day is getting easier for her.
Each time I pick up my little one she only has positive things to say about how much fun she has had, and more often than not she is bringing a drawing
or craft home. I really like the themes they have every week. A lot of effort goes into the work the nursery does. Management are also super welcoming and very helpful with any changes required for days attending etc.

My daughter is very timid and sensitive, Truro City has been amazing in putting her needs first and working around her to make her feel secure and happy and this is working.
I feel at ease leaving my little girl knowing that she is cared for greatly. Truro City has also been great with me as I'm quite

Staff are very friendly and reliable and very flexible. They offer a vital service that reassures me. I know my daughter is safe and happy and does not need a family meal when I pick her up because of the nutritious snacks/food available.


The Pirate Club is a service that I highly recommend to other

families.

Emily Marsh

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Emily started at Happy Days as a Nursery apprentice and has worked her way up through the company to become the Nursery Manager. During her time at Happy Days, Emily has been inspired by her peers and colleagues. Over the years, Emily has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Early Years sector.


Emily says, "Becoming the manager of the nursery where my early years' journey started is a fantastic opportunity. I'm proud of my Penrice Nursery family, including all its children and parents!"
