My son has been in Happy Days Nursery - Truro City for the past year.
Prior to this, he was in another nursery. He is so much happier and loves going to nursery. He has made great connections with the staff and other children and loves the outdoor spaces and toys. The nursery puts on lots of special
days and events and in the run-up to Christmas, the Polar Express days, carol singing and arts and crafts sessions were so much fun. We wholeheartedly recommend Truro City for the outstanding service they provide.

Happy Days have worked very well with my boy who took a while to settle into pre-school life. Ideas, examples and change of patterns and things to do were shared and discussed. Excellent approach meaning my baby boy did not see "school" as a bad thing.

I have now had two children in Happy Days Nursery - Treliske and couldn't be happier with them. The staff are amazing and so friendly and both of my children have loved being there. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I have 2 children currently at Happy Days, they both love it there and I cannot fault the care and staff. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Happy Days nursery to friends and family.

This is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has just returned to it after we temporarily moved away. They have been amazing looking after her as first a baby and now as a 3-year-old. All staff are caring and nurturing. There are so many activities for her to do and the staff are all so encouraging her
to learn and be creative through play. She loves the meals which are varied and healthy.

Our little girl has been attending Happy Days since she was 16 months old and absolutely loves it. The staff are friendly and go to great lengths to ensure that the levels of care are excellent. I have trouble getting her to leave at the end of the day! Cannot recommend them enough.

My twin girls have attended this nursery since they were 15 months old and they will be starting school very soon. I have always been very happy with the care my girls have received. The staff are very responsive and happy to work with parents to understand the needs of their children. It is easy to
see that a lot of thought and preparation goes into planning activities for the children and my girls thoroughly enjoy the time they spend there.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to other parents and will have a tear in my eye when it comes to leaving in the coming weeks!

My daughter and I love this nursery!
The staff are a well established team, and it really shows.
They make a priority to really get to know your child. Adapting and individualising learning activities to best suit your child, to ensure their enjoyment and most effective and efficient way of learning.
The staff are extremely supportive and a great source of information and advice, I feel like they really work with me and are always willing to listen.
My daughter loves to be creative and every day she attends nursery there are different activities organised in really imaginative ways.
She always looks forward to attending nursery and considers her carers as her friends. Moreover, with the nurturing help and support provided from the nursery staff, my daughter has developed endless amount of confidence, enabling her to establish good friendships with the other children.
This truly is a fantastic nursery and a credit to the manager, they have provided the best start for my daughter.

Treliske Happy Days is a lovely day nursery with a warm atmosphere and with wonderful caring staff. They have welcomed my daughter with open arms and put my mind at ease about leaving her. With their support I have seen her grow more independent and confident as the weeks/months have gone by. They have
a good balance of indoor and outdoor activities and are supportive in the children's learning. My child is happy and appropriately occupied during her time there. There is always a good and varied range of activities and creativity is encouraged.
When I drop my child off at nursery, the staff always enquire about how she slept and if she has had a good morning. They consistently show lots of care and interest in my child's needs. When I pick my daughter up from nursery I am always provided with an overview of her day. This will include activities she has participated in, what she enjoys, how she has been and what she has eaten.

We have been very happy with happy days nursery. The staff are lovely and caring. They have willingly provided a vegan diet for my child and used cloth nappies at my request. My child is settled and happy at nursery, thank you very much.

Every single member of the team are lovely.
They are friendly, professional and attentive to children's needs.
A brief detail of children's day is discussed at end of session giving details of meals and activities that have been enjoyed throughout the day.
I am very happy with the childcare provided

I have been very happy with Treliske Happy Days so far. The staff are welcoming, friendly, caring and seem to be extremely competent. They are always polite, approachable and organised. They always have the children's best interests in mind. The nursery is clean, tidy and conducive to both play and
learning. My boys eat well and always have something interesting to tell me/show me at the end of the day. The only thing that bothers me about the nursery is the restriction of its outdoor space. This is not something that the nursery can do much about, given its location. I do like how the nursery has set up its outdoor space and think that they do well with it despite its small size, the kids love it. Overall, my children get excellent care at Tresliske. They are never unhappy when they come home.

A wonderful nursery with caring fun staff who have helped our son integrate into nursery care in an entirely positive way. The staff are lovely and our son always looks forward to his days at nursery with his friends and the people who work there. It would be great to see improvements / expansion to
outdoor space but this is a minor point

I feel confident and happy leaving my son in the care of Treliske Happy Days. Lots of out door play and having fun with water and different materials and toys.
I receive phone calls in the event of my son being upset or unhappy. Staff always let us know what he has been up to during the day and what
he has eaten.
My son seems very happy going to nursery and has learnt many new things since attending.

Emily Marsh

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Emily started at Happy Days as a Nursery apprentice and has worked her way up through the company to become the Nursery Manager. During her time at Happy Days, Emily has been inspired by her peers and colleagues. Over the years, Emily has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Early Years sector.


Emily says, "Becoming the manager of the nursery where my early years' journey started is a fantastic opportunity. I'm proud of my Penrice Nursery family, including all its children and parents!"
