My daughter was very clingy and didn’t go to anyone, they worked very hard with her to make her feel welcome and comfortable and she absolutely lives nursery and runs in, staff are very friendly, very happy with here and recommend to people often.

All the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about my child. They are always doing different activities with the children and my child is always happy to go. They are fantastic and have helped my child with her speech and have also helped me by getting a referral for my child.

Having had a positive experience with my first-born child at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool, I was more than happy to put my second through here.
I’ve always found the staff really helpful and smiley.
I enjoy getting the written reviews of my child’s day when I pick him up. Getting to know what activities
he’s enjoyed and how he’s getting on at nursery.

Happy Days Truro City has been a wonderful introduction to nursery for my little girl. She runs in each morning excited to see her wonderful carers and friends. Every morning I too am welcomed warmly and leave feeling secure that my daughter is going to have a lovely day. Feedback at each pick up is
comprehensive and never rushed. The staff have gone above and beyond to support my daughter through her picky eating and encourage her to expand her tastes while also making sure her tummy is full and she is content. I would recommend this setting to anyone looking for a warm and kind setting for their child.

Both our children have attended Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City and can’t speak more highly of the care and support that they have given to our girls. The staff are all friendly, caring and compassionate. The manager and the team go out of their way to be flexible and supportive of busy

Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City is a warm and welcoming nursery. They took the time you get to know my children which helped settle them into the nursery quickly. The staff are great at making it an exciting environment, with lots of different activities. The transition from preschool to
school was smooth with my middle child, which the staff made possible by giving such a detailed handover to the school about my child. Plus all the school transition activities they do made sure my child was confident with the change. Management have also been supportive of me as a parent. I am always informed of what’s on in the nursery and any changes. They are always informative of what they can do in regards to childcare hours and funding etc.

It's an awesome nursery with friendly and happy staff. Both my boys have gone there over the years and they've been really well cared for with lots of activities and learning opportunities too. The kids have always loved going there.

My daughter moved to this nursery after her previous setting closed down and all I can say is that everything happens for a reason! From the shy little girl she once was when she first joined to the outgoing, creative and social little butterfly she is now. That is all credit to every single member
of staff at this nursery, the care children receive here is just outstanding, the way they encourage the children to be their own person, challenge them in new ways and just support their every need!


As excited as I am to see my daughter start her next adventure in life (being primary school) I cannot express my sadness that we won’t see these incredible people on a daily basis anymore! They are all extraordinary!


If you are looking for a setting for your child to attend, then look no further! This place is nothing short of outstanding!

My young grandson attends Happy Days Nursery. He has so much support from the staff, it’s a joy to see him enjoying going to nursery and learning so much. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. They always have an array of activities going on when I pick him up.

Really good nursery. Always paying attention to the details, my child has settled into the nursery so quickly and staff always go above and beyond to support my child and his development. He loves playing at nursery each day he is in.

My son attends this nursery, he absolutely loves it, he adores the staff.
He is well stimulated and definitely doesn’t get bored.
He always comes out happy with a smile on his face.

My son is really happy at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool-Truro City, he is always excited to go in to see his friends and the girls that look after him.
Im always in the know of what is happening and get great feedback about what he has been up to in his day at nursery.

Kids are thriving! They're happy to go to school, they have both come out there she'll and made lots of new friends. All the team are so helpful and happy and kind to my children and others children. I know they are more than well looked after in their care. And I can't thank them enough!

Lovely nursery, the staff are so so friendly and helpful, the children I work with are always happy to go. The lunches they have are nutritious and tasty. The snacks are well thought out.

My son absolutely loves the Truro branch! The staff are amazing with him and he has a big smile on his face when he sees them and I sometimes struggle to get him to leave. The daily feedback from the staff is brilliant we get lots of information about what he has been doing, what he’s enjoyed the most,
how he’s slept, what he’s eaten and if he’s learnt something new. We get regular reviews where we can view his learning journal to see what he’s been up to during his days there. We also get regular newsletters via email to let us know what the children will be doing and what else is happening in the coming week(s). The staff (including management) interact with me and other parents not just the children and you feel really welcomed walking in which is lovely. The communication between the nursery and the parents is exceptional and the parents are contacted straight away should they need to be. Highly recommend!

My daughter enjoys the activities that Happy Days Nursery provide, she always comes home to tell me what she has been up to that day and it’s always exciting to talk together about it. The staff have been amazing at supporting her potty training and although the odd accident here or there she is nearly
completely dry at home and at nursery. Although she can be tearful sometimes when I drop off, the girls are great at comforting her and plenty of cuddles when needed. She has been in each of the three rooms that the nursery provides and the staff and service have been great in each one.

My grandson absolutely loves coming to Happy Days Nursery.
When we come to pick him up he is always so happy and enjoying his activities.

Returning to work can be an emotional time for a parent and handing your baby over to others to look after can be extremely hard. But all the team at the nursery have been amazing, welcoming and friendly. The genuine care that they have and show for my child puts my mind at rest that they are in the
right place. When I first came to view the nursery I instantly felt it was the right one for us, so clean and fresh but also child friendly with lots of exciting things for all ages and abilities. My child is always happy to go to nursery and the handover is always easy to. At pick up the nursery staff are very good at letting me know what my child has been up to, eaten, enjoyed, slept, etc, which is great and feels like it keeps you involved. Since attending my child has come on leaps and bounds and the staff always seem as excited at every milestone as we are which is lovely.

The staff are so caring , they always go the extra mile to keep us informed about our child’s day and development.

My little boy has been coming to Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City for 2 years now and I couldn't have wanted a better place for him to attend. All staff have been amazing, caring, friendly and way more. He settled in really well from the start and has always received lots of comfort and reassurance
whenever he has needed it! He really loves coming to nursery and his individual needs have always been a high priority. I have always felt a family-centred approach to the team as well, they have always made sure I have also felt supported as a single mum, which makes a huge difference.

Emily Marsh

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Emily started at Happy Days as a Nursery apprentice and has worked her way up through the company to become the Nursery Manager. During her time at Happy Days, Emily has been inspired by her peers and colleagues. Over the years, Emily has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Early Years sector.


Emily says, "Becoming the manager of the nursery where my early years' journey started is a fantastic opportunity. I'm proud of my Penrice Nursery family, including all its children and parents!"
