Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City

All of the staff at Happy Days Truro City are so friendly and very trustworthy. My children love coming to nursery and I love hearing about all the activities they have been doing. Every day is a busy day there but at the same time, children can choose what they would like to do and take part in. The meals are very nutritious and tasty, so much so that my children go for seconds. The outdoor activities reflect on the same activities indoors and no matter the weather the children can choose where they would like to be. Overall very happy with the care they continue to provide.

Happy Days Truro City is amazing for my child. My child has been here since 7 months old, she is now 3. They have helped her so much with all her needs. Would definitely recommend this place. Well done all of Truro City. It's changed manager but it's all still really good.

My niece absolutely loves coming to the nursery. You can see the staff are passionate about the children, their development and enjoyment. Never any issues and one happy little girl! She always comes home saying how good the food is and wants similar meals to whatever she’s eating! I would encourage anyone looking for a nursery to go here!

My son has attended Happy Days Nursery for over 2 years. When he first started he was very quiet and shy but the staff were able to encourage him and bring him out of his shell. He is now a confident little boy, full of energy and completely school ready, which is very much thanks to Happy Days Nursery staff. With all of the play and learning he has done and the friends he has made, I feel the transition to school will run much smoothly. My son has learnt so much, his days are fun, educational and active, he eats so well at nursery and he is a well rounded little boy, Thank you Happy Days!

My daughter was very clingy and didn’t go to anyone, they worked very hard with her to make her feel welcome and comfortable and she absolutely lives nursery and runs in, staff are very friendly, very happy with here and recommend to people often.

All the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about my child. They are always doing different activities with the children and my child is always happy to go. They are fantastic and have helped my child with her speech and have also helped me by getting a referral for my child.

I enjoy getting the written reviews of my child’s day when I pick him up. Getting to know what activities he’s enjoyed and how he’s getting on at nursery.

Happy Days Truro City has been a wonderful introduction to nursery for my little girl. She runs in each morning excited to see her wonderful carers and friends. Every morning I too am welcomed warmly and leave feeling secure that my daughter is going to have a lovely day. Feedback at each pick up is comprehensive and never rushed. The staff have gone above and beyond to support my daughter through her picky eating and encourage her to expand her tastes while also making sure her tummy is full and she is content. I would recommend this setting to anyone looking for a warm and kind setting for their child.

Both our children have attended Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City and can’t speak more highly of the care and support that they have given to our girls. The staff are all friendly, caring and compassionate. The manager and the team go out of their way to be flexible and supportive of busy working families.

Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Truro City is a warm and welcoming nursery. They took the time you get to know my children which helped settle them into the nursery quickly. The staff are great at making it an exciting environment, with lots of different activities. The transition from preschool to school was smooth with my middle child, which the staff made possible by giving such a detailed handover to the school about my child. Plus all the school transition activities they do made sure my child was confident with the change. Management have also been supportive of me as a parent. I am always informed of what’s on in the nursery and any changes. They are always informative of what they can do in regards to childcare hours and funding etc.

It's an awesome nursery with friendly and happy staff. Both my boys have gone there over the years and they've been really well cared for with lots of activities and learning opportunities too. The kids have always loved going there.

My daughter moved to this nursery after her previous setting closed down and all I can say is that everything happens for a reason! From the shy little girl she once was when she first joined to the outgoing, creative and social little butterfly she is now. That is all credit to every single member of staff at this nursery, the care children receive here is just outstanding, the way they encourage the children to be their own person, challenge them in new ways and just support their every need!

As excited as I am to see my daughter start her next adventure in life (being primary school) I cannot express my sadness that we won’t see these incredible people on a daily basis anymore! They are all extraordinary!

My young grandson attends Happy Days Nursery. He has so much support from the staff, it’s a joy to see him enjoying going to nursery and learning so much. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. They always have an array of activities going on when I pick him up.

Really good nursery. Always paying attention to the details, my child has settled into the nursery so quickly and staff always go above and beyond to support my child and his development. He loves playing at nursery each day he is in.

Kids are thriving! They're happy to go to school, they have both come out there she'll and made lots of new friends. All the team are so helpful and happy and kind to my children and others children. I know they are more than well looked after in their care. And I can't thank them enough!

My son absolutely loves the Truro branch! The staff are amazing with him and he has a big smile on his face when he sees them and I sometimes struggle to get him to leave. The daily feedback from the staff is brilliant we get lots of information about what he has been doing, what he’s enjoyed the most, how he’s slept, what he’s eaten and if he’s learnt something new. We get regular reviews where we can view his learning journal to see what he’s been up to during his days there. We also get regular newsletters via email to let us know what the children will be doing and what else is happening in the coming week(s). The staff (including management) interact with me and other parents not just the children and you feel really welcomed walking in which is lovely. The communication between the nursery and the parents is exceptional and the parents are contacted straight away should they need to be. Highly recommend!
