Busy Bees Huntingdon, is part of the Busy Bees Nurseries Group. It was purpose-built for the challenges of professional childcare and offers extended opening hours and its own private care park.

Our daughter joined the little bombos room, coming from a day care that we were not happy with. After a friend’s recommendation we toured the Busy Bees, Huntingdon facility, met with the staff and ultimately decided to make the switch. The admin and staff here are amazing and you can tell they really
care about the children. The key workers are professionals and they take the time to learn our daughter’s interests. They do so many activities, she brings something home almost everyday and they post everything to their parents app so I feel connected and informed. Her development has also skyrocketed, she tries new foods, she has made friends and blossomed into a confident and curious toddler. They also have great facilities, clean and well kept and they are outside every day which we really love. She just transitioned into the next room up and she is thriving. She loves it here and we do too! Busy Bees, Huntingdon is the best decision we’ve ever made.

Busy Bees have shown great commitment during these uncertain times and have made me and my daughter feel so comfortable in coming back to nursery. The staff have always been instrumental in helping me get my daughter potty trained and so supportive. The app has also helped me stay informed throughout
the day and I love getting the photos through, they always make me smile. A big thank you!

I have worked with the nursery in my deputy role at the local primary school for a number of years, and now my daughter attends. She is taking part in a wide range of activities and trying a broad and exciting diet - I'm jealous! My daughter is happy and excited to attend and comes out with a smile.
The staff are kind, caring and considerate, making my daughter and me feel at ease. They have been particularly brilliant during these crazy times! Thank you.

We are so happy that we have sent our son to Busy Bees. The staff at the nursery are so friendly and have many fun activities for the children. Our son was struggling to socialize with other children and had delayed speech, however they worked with me and my husband to so how to bring our son out of
his shell. He seems to be doing much better. He is very eager to talk about his day and looks forward to going to nursery, and is even making friends. Their positive and motivating approach is wonderful. We are so pleased. Both me and my husband are also key workers, they were one of the few nurseries that remained open during the pandemic. I felt safe with our son there due to their strict hygiene and wellness checks of our son and others at the nursery. It was nice knowing that they can be very dependable. I also like the fact they are open even during school holidays, since unfortunately me and my husband work during that time. The managers and staff are lovely and hardworking.

Busy Bees Huntingdon is amazing, they were quick to help find my daughter a space after being let down by a previous childcare service, closing due to Covid-19. I was a little anxious changing settings but both my daughter and myself were made to feel welcome. Temperatures are taken daily at the door
before entering and it is quite a swift, quick but positive process, meaning it’s a little easier to get off to work on time. My daughter really isn’t phased by this process. The staff are friendly and welcoming ensuring that my daughter is well looked after. I get detailed personal daily feedback and I can login to see photos and observations of my child having fun! I highly recommend Busy Bees Huntingdon! Keep up the good work.

We have been going to Busy Bees for the last 12 months and can honestly say it’s the best nursery we have been to. The staff have all been welcoming, honest and very helpful, the facilities in the rooms is top class, but more importantly my child has received a fantastic schedule of learning and reading
and his overall development has come on leaps and bounds and he is now very much ready for school. We love the themed weeks and ever changing itinerary for the children too, they put so much effort into this. I would also like to add the app is regularly updated so we always get to see what our child has been up to every day with photos, which are great. Lastly, we want to thank everyone at Busy Bees, particularly the manager, for remaining open during the recent lockdown and helping us and our children to carry on as normal, we couldn’t have done this without them.

My daughter joined Busy Bees in November last year. It was the 5th nursery we’d looked at and the first we felt fully comfortable with.
The manager is completely on the ball and any needs are always met with a smile and the reassurance that it’s covered. Our daughter has a milk allergy, which worried
me a great deal when I thought about leaving her. I needn’t have worried, it’s catered for by the excellent chef and good communication between the staff.
The team always seem cheerful and as though they have relationships with each child. The feedback I get at each day tells me how well they know our little girl because it’s the same things I see in her at home. The activities are great too, it gives me loads of inspiration for things I can do at home.
The most precious thing in my life smiles, waves and toddles off for breakfast on her own when she arrives and she’s the same happy (and tired) little girl that comes to me for a cuddle when I go to collect her, that speaks for itself!

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees for several months after we had to pull her out of another nursery failing expectations as a parent. Since attending Busy Bees we noticed a dramatic change in our daughter. We drop her off with carers who welcome her with open arms, no separation anxiety always
happy. The staff are fantastic and always very attentive. Never had any concerns, would highly recommend, very organised, pets and fish, great outdoor facilities, professional and happy we chose Busy Bees. Keep up the fantastic work.

My son was 9 months old when he started to attend Busy Bees nursery. At the beginning, I was very anxious about how he was going to settle in. Straightway, the nursery staff put me at ease; I was encouraged to call whenever I wanted to, to find out how my son was doing. At the end of each day, there
is always a friendly member of staff available to tell me at length about my son’s day, which activity he enjoyed and how well he ate and slept. I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly he settled in. Now he can't wait to get out of the car when I drop him off in the morning!


I also like the fact that the nursery organised various activities throughout the year which is a great way to meet other parents and get to know the nursery staff a bit better. As a member of the PPG, I feel involved in nursery life to some extent as I get the opportunity to regularly meet other group members to plan future events and discuss any issues.

My son has been to 3 different nurseries and Busy Bees in Huntingdon is by far the only one I'll be sad to see him leave when he starts school in September. All staff are very friendly and very good with the children. Would definitely recommend Busy Bees in Huntingdon to anyone looking to send their

I was so worried when I first put my son in the nursery when I went back to work but the team at the nursery welcomed us and he settled very quickly. Since then he has thrived and developed so much. The level of care at the nursery is exceptional. Everyone works well as a team and the children always appear to be so happy. I have never encountered a miserable child or carer.
The menu is varied, wholesome and natural, sourcing high-quality local farm produce as well as encouraging the children
to enjoy the experience.
They are attentive if the children are poorly giving a comprehensive update on how they appeared during the day. They encourage development in a structured and meaningful way keeping you constantly updated on their progress via the parent zone as well as giving parents homework for the improvement areas.
Lastly they follow the three hours per day exercise routine hence my little one loving the outdoors and never wanting to sit down!
My child is a very well balanced happy and well developed child and I thank all the staff at Busy Bees for their dedication and support and for creating an environment that my little one loves and enjoys.

My son was 7 months old when he started at the nursery and is my only child, I was nervous about how he would do due to this. I am happy that the nursery staff treat him brilliantly, it gives me a massive relief. He loves going to the nursery and loves all the staff. He runs into the building in the
morning and looks forward to his day.His key worker is amazing and has been very supportive of me and my son and is always approachable and contactable. I’m glad I chose this nursery over others as my son is treated so well and it’s a good price. I would 100% recommend.

In addition to the friendliness and consistently high standard of care, we love Busy Bees because:


There is sufficient dedicated parking, it is very unusual to be unable to park straight away on either drop-off or pick up.


The manager and staff have a strong commitment to staying open. Last autumn

they managed to remain open as usual despite a burst pipe flooding two rooms overnight!


Transitioning between rooms is handled very well, with visits to the older room over several weeks as well as a Transition Report and daily settling in Observations via the Parentzone app.


All-around good recordkeeping, both of daytime activities (including naps/meals via the app) and for invoicing.


The high standard of maintenance and regular refurbishment of care rooms and gardens, adapting the space to the Nursery, not vice versa.


A commitment to letting the kids play outside every day if at all possible (splash suits and wellies definitely get used!)

The lovely team of ladies at Huntingdon Busy Bees do a wonderful job of looking after my daughter. My son recently left to start school and we were very sad to be leaving pre-school, but they still greet him with warmth and a cuddle when we collect my daughter! The facilities are great at Busy Bees
and the activities they organise act as great inspiration for craft time at home! She also bakes on a regular basis and enjoys sharing her treats with her brother. The garden facilities are great and it's reassuring to know that they can choose to go out when they want. They also offer a wide variety of snacks and dishes at mealtimes. At home, my daughter is a fussy eater but she regularly surprises me with what she has eaten at nursery! I've said this before but it will be a sad day when my daughter leaves this nursery as the staff are so caring and we have formed many friendships!

We absolutely love Busy Bees nursery Huntingdon. From the moment we first looked we knew that our son would be safe and have a great time.
