We couldn't be happier with Busy Bees Huntingdon. The nursery provides such a warm, safe and welcoming environment for children, and it's clear that the staff truly care about every child in their care.
A special thank you to Libbi, Kaz and Tricia - they have our deepest respect and appreciation. They
are incredibly dedicated, patient and supportive, and they have helped our son so much with his development and confidence. Seeing how happy he is there means everything to us as parents.
It's wonderful to know that he is surrounded by such caring and passionate people every day. We highly recommend Busy Bees to any parent looking for a nurturing and trustworthy nursery for their child.

My little one started at busy bees in January 2026 after my maternity leave finished. The staff were amazing at supporting us through the settling in period. Their support has made the transition so much easier and now my little one is thriving and really enjoying nursery. The staff are so caring and
responsive and the regular updates throughout the day really help me feel close to my little one.

We are very happy with this nursery. Both of our children attend and we feel very grateful for the care and support they receive every day.
The staff are kind, patient and attentive, creating a warm and safe environment where children feel comfortable and happy. It is clear that the team genuinely cares
about the children and their wellbeing.
Our children enjoy the activities, playtime and time spent with other children, and we can see how much they are learning and developing. Communication with parents is also very good, and we always feel informed about how our children are doing.
Thank you to the whole team for the care, dedication and positive atmosphere you create for the children.

The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, accessible, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing. The facilities are excellent and thoughtfully designed to support children's development, creating a nurturing environment where they feel safe to explore, learn, and thrive.
The curriculum is
carefully planned and promotes activities that support cognitive, emotional, and social development in a balanced and engaging way.
The nursery app is also a fantastic tool, making communication between parents and staff easy and reassuring. It provides detailed daily updates, including meals, nap times, nappy changes, and a summary of activities, often accompanied by lovely photos. It really helps us feel connected to our child's day.

All the staff that Mia had contact with is amazing but I want to say huge thanks to Caitlin which was next to her when she started nursery one year ago and made her fell very comfortable and safe. Also to Sab, which she loves and is currently in her group. Sab is very open, warm, smiling all the time
and Mia enjoys every moment with her.

While we were waiting for a place at a private school, which had very long lead times, we chose Busy Bees in Huntingdon as an interim option - and it has exceeded all expectations. Our child absolutely loves going to "school" and happily walks in every day with excitement, which alone speaks volumes.
That joy and enthusiasm are the main reasons we now wouldn't consider moving him elsewhere.
The staff are consistently kind, attentive, and incredibly responsive. They clearly care deeply about every child and always take the time to keep us updated. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and photos through a very user-friendly app, which gives us real peace of mind as parents.
We feel genuinely lucky to have found such a nurturing, supportive environment for our child, and we're so grateful to the entire team for everything they do.

We have had a fantastic experience with Busy Bees Nursery and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our son attended first and had such a positive start there that we had no hesitation in enrolling our daughter as well. The staff are consistently warm, caring, and professional, and they genuinely take
the time to get to know each child as an individual. Communication has always been excellent, and we have felt confident and reassured knowing our children were happy, safe, and well supported. Both of our children settled well and thrived during their time at the nursery. A wonderful environment with a dedicated team who clearly care deeply about what they do. Highly recommended.

The team at Busy Bees are awesome! They create a great environment for the children to grow at their own pace. Each room is packed with educational activities and our son absolutely loves his key carers!
Some mornings are tough with the drop off, but the team find ways to encourage him through the
door creating excitement, making the process fun!
All great things to make us feel comfortable that we leaving him in caring hands.

We love busy bees. My daughter has been there for 2 years now and has thrived in every room. When speaking to a colleague whose children went there before she commented that her childs primary school said they can always tell when a child has been to busy bees as they are always the most school ready.
The staff are lovely and I am never in doubt about the care they have for my daughter. Now she is in the Big Bumbles room they are teaching her to be more independent, from teaching her to put her shoes and coat on to encouraging potty training.
Her room leader plans such lovely activities that also teach them life skills. Recently they have been learning about the importance of brushing their teeth and washing their hands and have been practicing how to reinforce boundaries in a kind way.
As a teacher myself I am quite particular about the care of my daughter but I have not had to raise a single concern in her whole two years at busy bees

My daughter is 18m started at Busy Bees in the spring. She absolutely loves it there and they were so supportive and lovely during her settling in period and beyond.
She's really thriving, spending lots of time outside and enjoying all of the different play and activities.
The staff are all so genuinely
lovely, caring and friendly and you can see how much effort goes into making sure all the children have a great time and are well cared for alongside supporting their development.
I get lots of updates about what she's been doing, pictures etc. the app is so helpful, especially at the start when I'd be worried if she was OK! It's so nice to see her happy and having fun & she really has a great connection with the staff which is a reflection of the amazing job they do!
The team also plan lots of things to engage us as parents, like recently we were able to come in for a stay and play session and it was great to do the messy play & chat to other parents.

It was my first time to attend the stay and play session with my child and I really had an amazing time. The teachers present in the room made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. They have given us lots of activities to do which were very fun and exciting. They also frequently asked if we needed
anything and were always checking up on us. A big shoutout to Chloe and Tahera for being with us and supported us all throughout the session. And to the whole team for being ever so amazing!

Our son has been here for over 3 years now and loves nursery, he always has a varied day with lots of different activities. The outside space is great and quiet areas inside if he needs it. He's built a real connection with the staff who are really helping him be ready for school. I couldn't recommend
this setting more highly.

My son has been attending this nursery for the past three years, and I can confidently say they continuously exceed my expectations. Thanks to their dedication, he has thrived in ways I could have only hoped for. Every member of the team seems to know him personally - his name, his interests, his little
quirks - which makes it feel like a true home away from home.

Come September, he's going to miss it dearly, and honestly, so will I. It's reassuring to know that there are still incredibly patient, understanding, and compassionate people in this profession. Their kindness and commitment set a shining example for everyone, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Busy Bees Nursery has been such a blessing for our family. My daughter settled in so well, and it's all thanks to the incredibly loving and caring staff. From the very beginning, they made her feel safe and welcomed, and now she absolutely loves going to nursery.
Knowing she's in such good hands gives
me so much peace of mind throughout the day. I especially love getting updates and photos through the nursery's appit's such a joy to get little glimpses of her day and see her smiling, playing, and learning.
I'm truly grateful for the wonderful care and attention my child receives every day. Thank you to the amazing team at Busy Bees for all that you do!

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.807)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.807) out of 10 for Busy Bees Huntingdon is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 43 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 43 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.807 for Busy Bees Huntingdon is calculated as follows: ( (417 Excellents x 5) + (91 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 512 Ratings = 4.807
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Huntingdon is based on 43 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 100 number of registered child places is 20, which has been reached with 43 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
