Busy Bees Huntingdon, is part of the Busy Bees Nurseries Group. It was purpose-built for the challenges of professional childcare and offers extended opening hours and its own private care park.

Children and babies can have fun in their own learning environments.
Each age group has access to their own designated gardens. As well has holding 5 Star in its kitchen, the setting holds a silver soil award in catering and is part of Vegetarian Society.

A qualified chef provides for the dietary requirements of the children, with health and security concerns incorporated into the childcare provider’s philosophy.

My 22-month-old son has attended this wonderful nursery since he was six months old. He attends 07.30 - 16.30 Monday - Friday. During last 16 months, he has received excellent care from both his key workers and all staff.


The 'Parent Zone' is an excellent way of feeling part of my son's journey

through his early years, we are able to view his day to day journey along with his assessments and transitions from key worker to key worker and room to room.


I can remember the day I made my first visit to the nursery to speak to the manager and have a tour and I knew as soon as I entered the nursery this was the nursery for our growing family. It had family feel and each room I entered the children were happy playing but learning. The nursery gardens are the best I have seen from babies to pre-school.


The food is all prepared on site by its own chef with fresh ingredients.. which again is a winner knowing all meals are nutritionally balanced.


This is why it is rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted.

My child was 10 months when she started. We have been attending for 2.
The staff here really care about the children. The nursery manager is passionate about childcare and the nursery which fills us with confidence.
The facilities are really geared towards the development of the children, both in
the inside and outside spaces, something we felt that was different from the numerous other nurseries we visited.
Our daughter loves her key person and we have already had a parents evening to discuss her development.
Our daughter suffers with feeding issues and I get lots of feedback and regular updates. I feel we are working together on dealing with issues and I feel comfortable leaving her at nursery despite the issues she has had.
Although we haven't been there long, we can already see there are lots of activities and special days to be involved in both for our daughter and parents.
We are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

My little girl loves this nursery! From the second we walked in, we made up our minds to enrol there. Friendly staff, who clearly know their job and went out of their way to accommodate our requests on more than one occasion. In-house cooked fresh food that caters for special dietary requirements (my
girl always has seconds!), well-equipped rooms, fantastic outdoors play area, a detailed day-to-day diary to keep track of what’s happening, long opening hours, theme days, events and even ‘homeworks’ for parents.
I did have my concerns at first, as my girl is very deeply attached to me and yet she settled in really quickly. Now she cuddles with all members of staff, showing lots of affection and attachment. We have seen a noticeable difference in her speech, motor and social skills development and the fact she enjoys it so much, puts our mind at ease that kids are respected and well treated there.
It ticks all the boxes in my book and I cannot recommend it nursery highly enough.

I have a son and a daughter that attend two days a week at this wonderful nursery. Both the management team and staff couldn't be more helpful. My children get a good mix of education and play. The out of hours activities that are put on once a month are brilliant.

Fabulous nursery. My daughter has come a long way with her development since joining Busy Bees in January 2017. She eats a well balanced and varied meals. My daughter attended this outstanding nursery for 4 years before starting school and my son has been here for over a year. I have been so impressed with the nursery and my daughter flourished in the time she attended. She has started school confident, happy and academically beyond where would be expected
from her age. The staff create an atmosphere where each child is valued and their own interests are recognised and used to support them in their development. My daughter's pre-school key worker amazed me with her creativity, care and support for my child - we still have to visit her! The nursery is a fun, exciting place for children and they have so many opportunities to develop each child as a whole. My son is safe, happy, developing and wants to be at Busy Bees - what more can you ask for!

Busy Bees has been a wonderful experience for my child. The staff there are not only patient and attentive but they give off the feel of a big family. The environment there is one that seems to stimulate creativity and exploration, lots to look at, touch and play with. They hold fun events for the
children and families about once a month and go over the top to make sure parents are in the loop. To top it off the meals they have for the children are great. Wonderful School! Thank you!

Both my boys have had a great time at Busy Bees. The staff are friendly and look after the children well. Plenty of cuddles if needed! Both boys have progressed well and always look forward to going and seeing their friends.

Busy Bees in Huntingdon is a really good nursery. My son has been going there for 3 days a week since he was 6 months old and he's development is amazing. He loves being at nursery and has now started in the Pre School class. All the staff are very professional and attentive and if I have any concerns
or questions there is always someone to help and listen. There is lots of variety for the children - painting, cooking, outside games, the gardens are lovely and the way the classes are laid out is great as it prepares them for a school environment. Over all I think this nursery is the best in the area and I'm very pleased I chose to send my son here.
