Busy Bees Huntingdon

My child is a very well balanced happy and well developed child and I thank all the staff at Busy Bees for their dedication and support and for creating an environment that my little one loves and enjoys.

My son was 7 months old when he started at the nursery and is my only child, I was nervous about how he would do due to this. I am happy that the nursery staff treat him brilliantly, it gives me a massive relief. He loves going to the nursery and loves all the staff. He runs into the building in the morning and looks forward to his day.His key worker is amazing and has been very supportive of me and my son and is always approachable and contactable. I’m glad I chose this nursery over others as my son is treated so well and it’s a good price. I would 100% recommend.

Busy Bees is excellent. We have had the pleasure of sending both our Son and Daughter to Busy Bees. I couldn’t recommend the manager and her team enough.

In addition to the friendliness and consistently high standard of care, we love Busy Bees because:

There is sufficient dedicated parking, it is very unusual to be unable to park straight away on either drop-off or pick up.

The manager and staff have a strong commitment to staying open. Last autumn they managed to remain open as usual despite a burst pipe flooding two rooms overnight!

Transitioning between rooms is handled very well, with visits to the older room over several weeks as well as a Transition Report and daily settling in Observations via the Parentzone app.

All-around good recordkeeping, both of daytime activities (including naps/meals via the app) and for invoicing.

The high standard of maintenance and regular refurbishment of care rooms and gardens, adapting the space to the Nursery, not vice versa.

A commitment to letting the kids play outside every day if at all possible (splash suits and wellies definitely get used!)

The lovely team of ladies at Huntingdon Busy Bees do a wonderful job of looking after my daughter. My son recently left to start school and we were very sad to be leaving pre-school, but they still greet him with warmth and a cuddle when we collect my daughter! The facilities are great at Busy Bees and the activities they organise act as great inspiration for craft time at home! She also bakes on a regular basis and enjoys sharing her treats with her brother. The garden facilities are great and it's reassuring to know that they can choose to go out when they want. They also offer a wide variety of snacks and dishes at mealtimes. At home, my daughter is a fussy eater but she regularly surprises me with what she has eaten at nursery! I've said this before but it will be a sad day when my daughter leaves this nursery as the staff are so caring and we have formed many friendships!

We absolutely love Busy Bees nursery Huntingdon. From the moment we first looked we knew that our son would be safe and have a great time. I can go to work and not worry about him, as their care is second to none. I can't thank them enough for everything they do. If you are looking at nurseries in the area for your child look no further.

My 22-month-old son has attended this wonderful nursery since he was six months old. He attends 07.30 - 16.30 Monday - Friday. During last 16 months, he has received excellent care from both his key workers and all staff.

The 'Parent Zone' is an excellent way of feeling part of my son's journey through his early years, we are able to view his day to day journey along with his assessments and transitions from key worker to key worker and room to room.

I can remember the day I made my first visit to the nursery to speak to the manager and have a tour and I knew as soon as I entered the nursery this was the nursery for our growing family. It had family feel and each room I entered the children were happy playing but learning. The nursery gardens are the best I have seen from babies to pre-school.

The food is all prepared on site by its own chef with fresh ingredients.. which again is a winner knowing all meals are nutritionally balanced.

This is why it is rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted.

We are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

It ticks all the boxes in my book and I cannot recommend it nursery highly enough.

I have a son and a daughter that attend two days a week at this wonderful nursery. Both the management team and staff couldn't be more helpful. My children get a good mix of education and play. The out of hours activities that are put on once a month are brilliant.

Fabulous nursery. My daughter has come a long way with her development since joining Busy Bees in January 2017. She eats a well balanced and varied meals. The lovely staff provide her with excellent care. Both the staff and management do all they can to fulfil the requirements of all the children. Thank You Busy Bees.

My daughter attended this outstanding nursery for 4 years before starting school and my son has been here for over a year. I have been so impressed with the nursery and my daughter flourished in the time she attended. She has started school confident, happy and academically beyond where would be expected from her age. The staff create an atmosphere where each child is valued and their own interests are recognised and used to support them in their development. My daughter's pre-school key worker amazed me with her creativity, care and support for my child - we still have to visit her! The nursery is a fun, exciting place for children and they have so many opportunities to develop each child as a whole. My son is safe, happy, developing and wants to be at Busy Bees - what more can you ask for!

Busy Bees has been a wonderful experience for my child. The staff there are not only patient and attentive but they give off the feel of a big family. The environment there is one that seems to stimulate creativity and exploration, lots to look at, touch and play with. They hold fun events for the children and families about once a month and go over the top to make sure parents are in the loop. To top it off the meals they have for the children are great. Wonderful School! Thank you!

Both my boys have had a great time at Busy Bees. The staff are friendly and look after the children well. Plenty of cuddles if needed! Both boys have progressed well and always look forward to going and seeing their friends.

Busy Bees in Huntingdon is a really good nursery. My son has been going there for 3 days a week since he was 6 months old and he's development is amazing. He loves being at nursery and has now started in the Pre School class. All the staff are very professional and attentive and if I have any concerns or questions there is always someone to help and listen. There is lots of variety for the children - painting, cooking, outside games, the gardens are lovely and the way the classes are laid out is great as it prepares them for a school environment. Over all I think this nursery is the best in the area and I'm very pleased I chose to send my son here.
