University Nursery at Edwinstowe Close (Cambridge)

I find the staff to be very attentive and helpful. My daughter always comes home happy and is always learning. The nursery is very organised and I find the newsletter and the app is always helpful. My daughter has a special bond with the staff members which is a testament to them.

Both of our children attended Edwinstowe and we couldn't be happier with the care for both of our children. The rooms are lovely and bright, and unlike other nurseries we looked at, the numbers of children in each was smaller. The staff are all amazing and really experienced and they all care a lot for the children.

Excellent - staff are very helpful and update us on progress. Feel very safe leaving children in their care.

Edwinstowe Nursery is truly wonderful. All the staff are kind, knowledgeable and build great relationships with all the children! Our daughter loves it, and we are very happy with her being there.

Edwinstowe is a lovely, responsive nursery. Having sent both my children here, I am always impressed at how they tailor to individual children's needs. The staff in the rooms go out of their way to relax children and make them feel comfortable in the rooms.

My daughter has been at Edwinstowe Close since she was 5-month-old. In the past three years, she has developed in confidence and developed friendships and skills, all thanks to the incredible care of the staff at the nursery. The environment, atmosphere and activities have been second to none.

We had both our children at Edwinstowe and they both loved it. The outdoor space is amazing, kids have plenty of place to run around, the indoor rooms are well presented with great toys perfect for their age and more importantly, the staff is just amazing! Definitely super recommended to any parent who is looking for a nursery with caring, attentive, and professional staff.

I can't recommend Edwinstowe highly enough - they were excellent pre-Covid but have really gone above and beyond over the last 18 months to make the children feel safe and secure. They have great facilities - lots of outdoor space and the food is great (my kids eat far more adventurously there than at home!). Every single member of staff we have come across has been warm and friendly and very good at their job. Their communication with parents is great - there is an app with regular updates and newsletters every week, and they are always responsive and helpful by phone and email whenever I have needed to get in touch. My oldest son transferred to Edwinstowe for his final year before school and quickly settled in. My youngest is leaving the preschool room this summer having started in the baby room and we will be really sad to say goodbye - I feel very lucky to have had our children there. Thank you Edwinstowe.

Edwinstowe Nursery provides excellent care. I know that my little one is in good hands for the day. She loves the Nursery so much and it is such a pleasure to see her smiling face when the Nursery staff come to pick her up in the morning. She grew up in confidence, learned a lot over the past few months and I think she appreciates every single activity planned during the day. The food is also amazing, she has developed her taste for such a variety of food already and enjoys it. The nursery also adapted perfectly to her food allergy which is a massive relief for us as her parents. Edwinstowe Nursery has been our little bubble of joy during COVID time, they make it feel as normal as possible for children while giving a lot of information to parents, so we felt confident and safe. I can't thank them enough for the amazing work they are doing for the children.

It has been a wonderful nursery. My child does not speak proper English and required much more care when he started. I am so pleased to see that the team paid so much effort to improve his speaking/language/attitude/toilet etc. It has made a huge difference in a very short period. Also, the food is very good and with a lot to offer. Also, they have a parents' app to record and share the child's development with the parent on a live basis. They also share the weekly menu and newsletter with the parents so they know what's going on.

This nursery goes above and beyond providing excellent care for my son and they have given him the most amazing experiences indoors and out. My son loves going to nursery and has created some lovely friendships and bonds with the staff, who are also very happy. Edwinstowe Close have shown their professionalism throughout COVID and their communication around this matter to parents has been exceptional. We feel our son is safe and loved and couldn't be in a better environment. Edwinstowe Close also have a fantastic range of food on offer, which my son loves. He eats very well and has eaten dishes I wouldn't have thought of making at home. I would recommend this nursery to all parents, we are extremely happy with this nursery.

Our family couldn't be happier with Edwinstowe. Our 1-year-old is happy to go into daycare and is in a good mood when we pick her up. She seems to have a great time there and has a really good relationship with the carers. The facilities are great - lots of outdoor space, toys and play structures. Good diversity of activities. Our 3 children all attended University Nursery at Edwinstowe Close and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. We were very pleased with the bond that each child had with their key-worker and the level of care that they received. The staff did an excellent job at preparing the children for school and we were sorry to say goodbye to them after 7 happy years of going there.

This is a time of very mixed feelings. My daughter will soon join the school of the “big girls and boys”, which is a very exciting moment for every kid. However, we are also closing an extremely important chapter in her life – nursery attendance: not of an ordinary nursery, but The Edwinstowe. The time there was/has been simply brilliant and there are no words to describe how grateful we are for everything: the friendship, the guidance, the lessons, the smiles, and for providing such a happy environment to her and her friends. She remembers every single person who looked after her with great fondness. The chapter is formally closing, but not effectively ending. You’ve certainly contributed towards her development as an individual, which will be with her FOREVER. THANK YOU ALL!

My 20-month-old loves Edwinstowe Close. The staff helped him settle back in after the lockdown break really quickly and he now can’t wait to go in the mornings. The staff are caring and are always happy to help. The setting is lovely. I couldn’t recommend Edwinstowe Close more highly.

A wonderful nursery. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and our little one loves them. Very well managed and communication is prompt and helpful. In a beautiful setting in the centre of town. Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

I cannot recommend this nursery more highly; my son is incredibly happy there. He has attended the nursery for around one year and settled very quickly. He is very attached to his keyworker and the other members of staff.

My son and I will really miss Edwinstowe when the time comes to leave!
