We have both of our children at Bluebells Barn and couldn't be happier. They both love the two days a week they do. I feel like they are nurtured and really well cared for. Both children have developed so well and I'm sure this is down to attending this nursery.

Both girls have been to this nursery or still here and I can't recommend it enough. Any issues that I have had have also been addressed straight away and resolved to a level I am happy with. My oldest daughter, who has now started school, also enjoyed coming here and the staff really helped, working with her to gain her confidence in her own ability ready for starting school. My youngest who is still here always has a good time and is always happy to believe with the staff.

Top class nursery. My daughter was made to feel welcome from the moment she walked in and all staff and children have been great in helping her develop. She was very shy in the beginning but soon had a good bunch of friends and warmed to the staff. The staff here were kind enough to fit her in last minute too as the first nursery we went to when we moved here was just not good enough for our little girl.

The nursery has been a really valuable experience for our daughter and I knew as soon as I viewed Bluebell Barn it was the right choice. It has helped our daughter's social skills and confidence come on a long way. It took a little while to get settled but the staff were very friendly and welcoming and I feel our daughter is in good, caring hands.

My child has had some troubles settling in even though he has been going to Bluebell Barn for some time, the staff have been amazing. Always there to comfort him. The staff have also been amazing with my son when he had some troubles healthwise recently. They took the time to comfort him and help him, I couldn't fault them. The staff have been a great support to my son and myself, I'm so happy with the nursery.

Myself and my husband are extremely happy with Bluebell Barn. Our son started there at 10.5 months old and he's now nearly 4. Our son is really happy there and loves all the staff. The staff are so friendly and caring. They always give lots of cuddles and make nursery fun. The office staff are also so helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend Bluebell Barn to friends, we already have!

My son is extremely happy at Bluebell Barn. He is always being given a wide range of activities which help all areas of his development (this also means I don't have to worry about doing so much messy craft at home!). The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and really seem to know him. There are frequent observations uploaded to his eyLog which mean I can see what he's been doing. He always eats all the food provided so I assume it is good!

All 3 of my grandchildren have attended Bluebell Barn and Bluebell Hill Nurseries. The quality of care they have received has been excellent. They have also made great progress in all areas of development particularly in personal social and emotional development and speech language and communication. The staff are professional caring warm friendly and lots of fun. Currently, I sometimes have to wait for my 3-year-old grandson to end his game even with the promise of Drusilla's swimming etc. Comments are made such as " Be with you in a minute Grandma" Last time I collected him they had made a car wash to clean the sit in cars. A group of at least 6 children involved in the game having such fun.

My son loves coming to nursery. The carers spend a lot of time getting to know the children and therefore I feel 100% confident with their ability to care for my son. They always have loads of fun activities going on for the children. The food is great in which my son eats a varied diet.

Overall I am very happy with the nursery and care from the main team of girls/carers, not so sure of relief staff, feel some are unsure and not very confident. My son seems very happy and is always willing to come in.

Reply from Clair Coope, Operations Manager at Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased that you are happy with our main team. It is very hard with relief staff as they are not always able to be located in the same room, although we try our best. Please come and discuss any concerns regarding relief staff with the Nursery Manager. It's lovely to hear that your son is happy with us.

My daughter has been attending nursery since April 2014. She loves going in, they have a wide variety of activities constantly and a beautiful outdoors area. She adores the girls that work there, you can tell they love the children and make special bonds with them. The nursery is also very flexible with children's routines and adapted to my daughter's food allergy well.

Both my children have attended Bluebell Barn and both equally enjoyed. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Surroundings are lovely - free flow in particular. I have always been very happy with the nursery as a whole. Children like attending - sometimes don't want to leave.

A lovely nursery in a beautiful setting, overlooking fields and animals. First used the nursery from 2011 for my first son and it was the obvious choice to use for my second son. The children take part in a great selection of activities and are looked after by lovely staff. I have found the nursery to be a great headstart to the children's learning and is a brilliant way to prepare for school.

Stephanie Dale

Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I am the Deputy Manager at Bluebell Barn. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old, volunteering with my local scout group as a young leader. I have always had a passion for developing young minds, gaining my level 6 qualification and Qualified Teacher status in 2023, and I value all the chances I have had to grow my knowledge of Early Years Education.

My favourite part of working at the nursery is watching the children reach their full potential, the milestones they reach in the time they are with us are vital in shaping their future in education and seeing them beat any challenges they may have been facing is immensely rewarding.
