Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery offers a secure and stimulating setting where children can enjoy a fun approach to early years learning, while parents can feel confident that staff are qualified in safeguarding each child's well-being.

The nursery has big airy rooms where your child will learn and have fun. It looks over fields and woods and has a large enclosed garden in which children can explore and enjoy a variety of activities.

The nursery is ideally located for busy local parents, close to main commuter routes and welcoming both full and part-time needs.

Parents are supported in getting involved as much as possible and staff offer a regular opportunity for discussion and feedback.

  • 2025 FEES FOR FULL DAYCARE NON-FUNDED:


    Children aged 0 – 5 years: Week full £340.00 per week / Full Day (8 am –6 pm) £76.00 per day / Session morning (8 am-1 pm) £49.00 per session / Session afternoon (1 pm-6 pm) £49.00 per session.

  • Parents can book their child in to attend from 7:30am and up to 6:30pm. These are charged at £8.00 per half hour or part half hour.
    Terms of Payment (please see our Terms and Conditions).
    A non-refundable fee of £25 is payable on registration, along with an £80 refundable deposit for securing a place.
    Fees are charged on a monthly basis.
    Fees are payable monthly in advance, by standing order or BACS by the last day of the preceding month or by cheque by the 24th of the preceding month. The nursery closes at 1 pm Christmas Eve, for the period between Christmas and New Year and on bank holidays. No charge is made during scheduled nursery closures.

My daughter has attended Bluebell Barn Nursery for the last 18 months and over that time the staff have only ever been professional, approachable and warm. All of the staff have been amazing and that shows in the utter excitement she has when she knows she is going to nursery, we can't even have breakfast
at home, she just wants to get there. There is such a variety of activities and play opportunities for her indoors and outdoors. My daughter is allergic to soya and dairy and the nursery have been fantastic in providing all of her food and milk and I have never had to worry about what she is eating. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a safe, fun, happy environment for their child to thrive in.

My son has been at Bluebell Barn since he was 8 months old he is now 2. I work full time. It is a great reassurance to me that my little boy is not only happy to see the wonderful girls in Tigers every morning but that he is excited for all the fun activities they have planned for him. They cater and
care for his individual needs and always keep me fully updated on every aspect of his care. Every evening he runs out to meet me with a big smile on his face. I am a key worker and I particularly praise them for going far beyond what was asked from them during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

My youngest is currently at Bluebell Barn and joined just before his first birthday and he’s now 15 months old. He loves it there. He gets so happy waiting to go in in the morning. When I pick him up, he’s always had a great time playing with his friends and doing various activities. They are brave
enough to play with messy time activities that I’m not brave enough to do at home. My eldest went there from 8 months to 4 years and again loved it. The staff are amazing with the children and make the parents feel welcome and involved. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluebell nurseries and I have done on numerous occasions to friends. Both of my children have been to this nursery and even though they are completely different children (and took different periods of time to settle in), they both love it.
My eldest attended from the age of 11months to 4.5 years and my youngest (2.5) is currently in the toddler room.
The staff are
fantastic and it’s lovely that we knew so many of them the second time around. My children adore them which is all we care about.
I’d recommend this nursery to anyone. The setting is brilliant and we feel lucky to have been able to have both children attend.

Bluebell Barn has always been a great environment for my children to attend, the staff are friendly and approachable, and they really get to know the children they look after.
The managers are always visible and responsive to a parents need or queries.
I feel they have been exceptional throughout
COVID-19 and handled the situation with kindness, understanding and above all, care for the safety and well being of their staff and the children who had to attend during this period. Remaining open and following strict standards enabled me to continue to work as a nurse throughout this period with a little less worry about my child knowing he was happy, contented and safe.

Fantastic nursery. All the staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. Response to queries is quick. There are always structured activities going on as well as a child-led play. Kids play outside every day, and also the food provided is great, which gives peace of mind. All around, a great nursery.

We have been very happy with Bluebell Barn. Both of our children have attended, and our youngest still has one more year to go. We have found that it has helped both of our children’s confidence massively and the transition from nursery to school really helped our oldest. I would happily recommend Bluebell
Barn to any parent, as the staff are all lovely, and I never worry about leaving my child in their care.

Bluebell Barn is an incredible nursery. They are so brilliant with my 2-year-old who is very unsettled about leaving me on drop off. He is soon happy and playing. He comes home talking about 2 members of staff who he absolutely adores. He even talks about them during the week (he only goes once a week

My son has been attending Bluebell Barn for almost 2 years. He has settled in well and the staff are always on hand to help him with transitions and change.
He really enjoys his time here with friends, he is always taking part in activities and learning new things.

I'm extremely happy with my son's development at the nursery.
Although each morning is tearful with him proclaiming "I don't like nursery" - each evening I am collecting a very happy, very tired boy who has thoroughly enjoyed himself.
The staff are terrific and he is obviously learning from them,
every now and then he surprises us with new knowledge that we had no idea he would know. Great.

Elle Hill

Elle is our amazing Nursery Manager at Bluebell Barn. She started with Bluebell nurseries in September 2013 where she began as an apprentice, Elle worked super hard and achieved her level 3 qualification. In her exciting 7 years of working at Bluebell Barn, she has had the privilege of working across all 3 rooms with all ages between 0-5 years.


Elle has a wonderfully calm professional and bubbly personality that makes her the perfect Nursery teacher and leader.


Having recently been promoted and taken on the role of Nursery Manager, Elle continues her journey of awe and wonder at Bluebell Barn nursery

Abi Bilton

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

Hi, I'm Abi. I have worked at Bluebell Barn for almost 5 years now, after completing my Bachelor's degree in 'early childhood studies,' where I gained experience and knowledge in the early years sector. Bluebell Barn has been an amazing place to practice my skills and continue my professional development through my career progression.


I am so pleased to have made wonderful relationships with the staff and the lovely parents and families.


My favourite part of working with children is helping the new children and their families settle into the setting, watching them reach their next steps, and providing a safe, fun, and happy place to grow!


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing yoga and reading.

Harriet is our fantastic Operations Manager. Harriet has over 16 years of experience working in the Early Years. Harriet joined the Bluebell family as the Nursery Manager of Bluebell Wood and now as the Operations Manager, Harriet oversees the running of all three of our fabulous nurseries.
