I personally would like more of a breakfast, good variety as my daughter attends three days per week.
Other than this Bluebells is excellent.
It's definitely the staff that make it as good as it is.
I feel my children have always been very well cared for here.
He has made some great relationships with his teachers and other children.
He can competently write his name and lots of different letters and numbers all of which he has learnt here.
Very good care for both my boys, they really enjoy the activities especially outside.
My daughter likes the nursery and the younger teachers that are there. She enjoys the smaller groups as she is quite shy. The staff are patient with her and allowed me to go in with her to settle her down.
Perhaps a better structured, portfolio of the children's activities would be nice. But overall, a good nursery.
My child has developed extremely well over the last few months she is becoming more confident and is always positive about going to nursery each day. Only recommendation is for the monthly invoice to be checked thoroughly in order to avoid inaccuracies each month, we are always correcting the invoice.
My children are always happy at nursery and enjoy the daily activities set up for them.
They receive the help and encouragement needed and when necessary, the staff go above and beyond.
All round happy children and happy parents.
Thank you.
Dear Rebecca, thank you so much for this lovely review. This made the staff have huge smiles.
My only concern would be that my child doesn't receive many notifications on eyLog. So I don't get to see her progress.
Thank you for your review and for taking the time to discuss your concern around notifications with us further. Sorry for the lack of notifications recently. As explained your child's key person has been completing end of term assessments ready for parents evening, this meant that your child's...
Both he and I will miss everyone when he moves on to school.
Bluebell Barn is welcoming, friendly and inviting. The staff are knowledgeable, confident and very capable.
My daughter has settled into nursery well, made lovely friends and enjoys her time here.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Our children have always been very happy here.
The care given when my daughter was unwell, the contact and communication was outstanding.
Only marked down as management seems to change a fair bit but very rarely when I've had a problem with the care my child received it was sorted out very quickly and didn't occur again.
Proving that these events were one-offs and any feedback is welcomed and acted upon.
Can't praise the nursery highly enough.
My 2 children loved their time here, from 3 months to 4 years.
Thank you!
My son is 3 and has been attending Bluebell since he was 9 months old. I can't praise them highly enough. His carers go above and beyond to make sure he is happy and is reaching milestones, he has made strong bonds with both staff and classmates. The staff have been proactive in putting plans in place to ensure he continues to thrive; we discuss and agree targets be these behavioural, or developmental at regular parents evenings. He can be fussy with food but eats well at nursery which speaks volumes for the quality of their meals. He loves the extensive outside space and I am thrilled that he has so much time outside to explore and to be a child. The time spent preparing him for school is very nicely done, he is learning to sit quietly for circle time and to serve his own breakfast etc. They help him learn at his own pace without rushing or dictating. Nursery should be a fun place of discovery, which is exactly what Bluebell Barn achieves. I can't imagine a better place to send him.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. It means a great deal to our staff to receive feedback like this. We very pleased that you couldn't imagine a better place to send your son.
Food and refreshments are of a high standard and so it hygiene. Unfortunately, due to poor facilities preschool learning is below standard and not enough time is given to prepare to children for school. General learning skills are not focused on enough. I have to spend time at home to ensure basic writing letters and number recognition is where it should be.
Bluebell Barn is a happy, fun place that our son loves to come to. Happy and friendly staff always make him feel welcome and safe. A wide range of activities are always different. Highly recommended.
Very pleased with Bluebells. I always come to pick up a very happy child and I feel confident to leave my child here knowing she is in safe hands the staff are very friendly! Keep up the good work girls.
My daughter has gone from being a clingy mummies girl to a confident, chatty little girl. Her speech and counting is amazing and I give the nursery a lot of the credit for this.
All the staff are brilliant.

Elle is our amazing Nursery Manager at Bluebell Barn. Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I am the Deputy Manager at Bluebell Barn. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old, volunteering with my local scout group as a young leader. I have always had a passion for developing young minds, gaining my level 6 qualification and Qualified Teacher status in 2023, and I value all the chances I have had to grow my knowledge of Early Years Education.
My favourite part of working at the nursery is watching the children reach their full potential, the milestones they reach in the time they are with us are vital in shaping their future in education and seeing them beat any challenges they may have been facing is immensely rewarding.
Harriet is our fantastic Operations Manager. Harriet has over 16 years of experience working in the Early Years. Harriet joined the Bluebell family as the Nursery Manager of Bluebell Wood and now as the Operations Manager, Harriet oversees the running of all three of our fabulous nurseries.
