Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery offers a secure and stimulating setting where children can enjoy a fun approach to early years learning, while parents can feel confident that staff are qualified in safeguarding each child's well-being.

The nursery has big airy rooms where your child will learn and have fun. It looks over fields and woods and has a large enclosed garden in which children can explore and enjoy a variety of activities.

The nursery is ideally located for busy local parents, close to main commuter routes and welcoming both full and part-time needs.

Parents are supported in getting involved as much as possible and staff offer a regular opportunity for discussion and feedback.

  • 2025 FEES FOR FULL DAYCARE NON-FUNDED:


    Children aged 0 – 5 years: Week full £340.00 per week / Full Day (8 am –6 pm) £76.00 per day / Session morning (8 am-1 pm) £49.00 per session / Session afternoon (1 pm-6 pm) £49.00 per session.

  • Parents can book their child in to attend from 7:30am and up to 6:30pm. These are charged at £8.00 per half hour or part half hour.
    Terms of Payment (please see our Terms and Conditions).
    A non-refundable fee of £25 is payable on registration, along with an £80 refundable deposit for securing a place.
    Fees are charged on a monthly basis.
    Fees are payable monthly in advance, by standing order or BACS by the last day of the preceding month or by cheque by the 24th of the preceding month. The nursery closes at 1 pm Christmas Eve, for the period between Christmas and New Year and on bank holidays. No charge is made during scheduled nursery closures.

A fantastic personal nursery.
A home from home for my child and a great atmosphere.
The staff remember everything about your child and no amount of chat is too much.
They never rush you out and welcome any queries and concerns.

The first taster day everyone was amazing and friendly. It was so hard to leave my baby even though he was just along the corridor. Everyone was so supportive and since then (over a year ago) I get to send a happy child to nursery that he loves and enjoys and collect an even happier little boy and tells
me what he has been doing that day.
He has come on leaps and bounds with speech and sharing he has learnt so much ready for school. He amazes me and the people that care and teach him all such amazing people and facilities are amazing.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for a year now. The staff are always so friendly and happy to children and parents and listen to any concerns, worries and complaints. Any concerns have been listened to with solutions provided. They stay in touch. Communication is good and most importantly,
my daughter is happy and progressing well.

My daughter started before Christmas, so hasn’t been attending that long. However, in the short time she has been going she’s come on so much in her development. I’ve been very impressed with how the nursery is run, all the children seem happy and stimulated.
The layout means the children are not
always closed off completely from the other classes, and I feel this adds extra warmth to the setting, giving it a cosy comfortable feeling which is reassuring in this type of care and learning environment.
I’m very happy with all the staff. They are so approachable, friendly and willing to listen. And their communication is excellent.
I love the ParentZone App that updates throughout the day with meals eaten and observations. Makes such a difference when she is attending all day and really brings to life the activities I’m told about when collecting her.

My nearly two year old has been at Bluebell since the beginning of the year and even though he only goes once a week at the moment, he is very comfortable going each week and seems to have settled incredibly well. In fact, since he started his confidence has grown dramatically and he is a much more
sociable and confident in himself. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the nursery itself is immaculate, always clean and tidy and the children always look happy and well looked after. I look forward to picking up and hearing about what he has been up to and the staff regularly update the EyLog with pictures.

I have been very happy with the care provided by the staff of Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery! The setting itself is amazing and stimulating for the children, and the staff are even better! They are incredibly friendly, always ready to listen, and all know my little girl and say hello each morning!
She is always happy and excited to go to nursery. My daughter has a food allergy, and the staff are very accommodating and careful with her, we have never had an issue with food. She has developed incredibly well with them, and has learnt so much thanks to their dedication and care.

Friendly nursery, although staff turn around is happening a lot (due to pregnancy). Our son is happy here and is enjoying his food (more than at home) and making friends. I would like him to make more paintings etc but no concerns.

My son loves coming to school here. He always has a big smile when I pick him up and he tells me about his day.
He has made some great relationships with his teachers and other children.
He can competently write his name and lots of different letters and numbers all of which he has learnt here.

My daughter is extremely happy and settled at Bluebells. All the carers are wonderful and will always greet her with a cuddle.
I personally would like more of a breakfast, good variety as my daughter attends three days per week.
Other than this Bluebells is excellent.

Excellent nursery.The staff are very friendly and helpful they are amazing with my son always there to comfort him when he sometimes gets frustrated as he struggles to communicate. My son loves the garden. I always come to pick him up a very happy child.

Elle Hill

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

Elle is our amazing Nursery Manager at Bluebell Barn. She started with Bluebell nurseries in September 2013 where she began as an apprentice, Elle worked super hard and achieved her level 3 qualification. In her exciting 7 years of working at Bluebell Barn, she has had the privilege of working across all 3 rooms with all ages between 0-5 years.


Elle has a wonderfully calm professional and bubbly personality that makes her the perfect Nursery teacher and leader.


Having recently been promoted and taken on the role of Nursery Manager, Elle continues her journey of awe and wonder at Bluebell Barn nursery

Abi Bilton

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2022

Hi, I'm Abi. I have worked at Bluebell Barn for almost 5 years now, after completing my Bachelor's degree in 'early childhood studies,' where I gained experience and knowledge in the early years sector. Bluebell Barn has been an amazing place to practice my skills and continue my professional development through my career progression.


I am so pleased to have made wonderful relationships with the staff and the lovely parents and families.


My favourite part of working with children is helping the new children and their families settle into the setting, watching them reach their next steps, and providing a safe, fun, and happy place to grow!


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing yoga and reading.

Harriet is our fantastic Operations Manager. Harriet has over 16 years of experience working in the Early Years. Harriet joined the Bluebell family as the Nursery Manager of Bluebell Wood and now as the Operations Manager, Harriet oversees the running of all three of our fabulous nurseries.
