Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery offers a secure and stimulating setting where children can enjoy a fun approach to early years learning, while parents can feel confident that staff are qualified in safeguarding each child's well-being.

The nursery has big airy rooms where your child will learn and have fun. It looks over fields and woods and has a large enclosed garden in which children can explore and enjoy a variety of activities.

The nursery is ideally located for busy local parents, close to main commuter routes and welcoming both full and part-time needs.

Parents are supported in getting involved as much as possible and staff offer a regular opportunity for discussion and feedback.

  • 2025 FEES FOR FULL DAYCARE NON-FUNDED:


    Children aged 0 – 5 years: Week full £340.00 per week / Full Day (8 am –6 pm) £76.00 per day / Session morning (8 am-1 pm) £49.00 per session / Session afternoon (1 pm-6 pm) £49.00 per session.

  • Parents can book their child in to attend from 7:30am and up to 6:30pm. These are charged at £8.00 per half hour or part half hour.
    Terms of Payment (please see our Terms and Conditions).
    A non-refundable fee of £25 is payable on registration, along with an £80 refundable deposit for securing a place.
    Fees are charged on a monthly basis.
    Fees are payable monthly in advance, by standing order or BACS by the last day of the preceding month or by cheque by the 24th of the preceding month. The nursery closes at 1 pm Christmas Eve, for the period between Christmas and New Year and on bank holidays. No charge is made during scheduled nursery closures.

So glad I chose to send my daughter to this nursery!
The staff are all so friendly and welcoming.
My girl is always happy to go in. And always comes home so happy.
We recently attended the Christmas craft morning which was all included and my girl had the best time and came away with some lovely
things for christmas!
All in all fabulous nursery and I would highly recommend!

Bluebell Barn Nursery is amazing. Our child has a visual impairment and the staff go out of their way to support them in nursery to access all areas and be included. The staff are so kind and supportive to us as a family as well as caring for our child. They truly care. Nothing is a silly request or
question and they do their best to listen and accommodate. The updates throughout the day and at the end of the day reassure me my child is having a good day especially when I am missing them at work. Very happy with our experience. The nursery is always clean and the activities throughout the day are fun, inventive and support the children's development as well as meeting the child's individual interests.

Bluebell Barn Nursery is amazing. Our daughter loves it there, she has been going for 7 months and from day one has loved it, she settled so quickly and I genuinely think that's because the staff are all so lovely, caring and welcoming. She puts her arms out for the staff and doesn't even look back

Bluebell Barn Nursery continue to give my daughter the best experiences. She absolutely loves attending and has been going since she was 11 months old - she is now nearly 3. The staff are brilliant and keep me informed with everything I need to know. My daughter enjoys the wide range of activities she
does daily, including baby ballet! The soft play area suits her hyperactive needs very well. If I have had any problems, staff have resolved this immediately. Couldn't recommend a better nursery.

From the very first moment we walked into Bluebell Barn for our show round, we felt genuinely welcomed.
The team took the time to walk us through each classroom, explain how everything worked and most importantly engaged with our daughter, who was nearly 2 at the time. That small gesture meant so
much to us.
She has now been through the Blueberries, Raspberries and is currently thriving in Cherries and throughout every stage we've been consistently impressed.
Having a background in childcare myself, I visited many nurseries in the area and out of all the settings we looked at and there were a lot , Bluebell Barn truly stood out from the rest.
The level of care, the thoughtful activities and the genuine attention given to each child have supported our daughter's development beautifully. We couldn't be happier with her progression or with the nurturing environment she's grown up in. Thank you

Bluebell Barn is a fantastic nursery! All of the staff are so kind, warm and welcoming. When my son first started in the baby room, he found it hard to detach from me. My son has been at Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery for a year now and the staff are brilliant with him. He has speech delay but they find ways of communicating with him, he is always happy to go in and his confidence has grown so much since being there!
The atmosphere when you walk in is really lovely
and calming, I would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone looking.

Could not recommend this nursery more. They do so much with the kids. My baby is 11 months old and joined when she was 9 months old. They really know her, even called me on her first day there, as I'd said on the form she napped at 12 pm and she'd fallen asleep at 11 am and whether that was alright!
Communication is brilliant, all the staff in her class know her and know when she isn't herself. Her socialisation skills have massively increased as has her confidence. She loves going and I love the app which gives detailed updates and photos. Best decision and I know my daughter is safe and being well looked after.

My daughter has attended this nursery since April 2024 and we can honestly say there has not been a single problem. We researched a lot of local nurseries and went to three show-arounds, Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery being one of them. The nursery manager took us for our show around at Bluebell Barn
and she was so informative and polite. We were introduced to all the staff and given information packs to take home. We immediately decided on this nursery for our daughter and she started a few weeks later. After starting, the staff at this nursery helped us to create a routine for our daughter, adapting as she grew. She has now been attending for four months and is always happy, she loves going to nursery and the staff that work here are so amazing and caring. They look after the children so well and are able to give a detailed debrief of their day upon pick-up which we absolutely love. Overall, we are so happy with the care and love our daughter receives here and we cannot recommend this nursery enough.

My son is currently in Blueberries at Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery, joining the nursery in April 2024 at only 7.5 months.
He has settled in so well and to this day, has never been upset on drop-off and that is a true testament to the girls in the room giving him such good care. It is such a relief
knowing he is clearly happy and enjoys his time with them, on drop-offs they put their arms out and he leans out my arms to go straight to them.
Any issues/concerns I have raised have always been immediately dealt with by management. The manager is amazing at getting straight back to you without leaving you waiting ages for a response, she is very approachable.
My only niggle is the app, there seems to be internet issues at the end of the nursery which means updates don't always come through. I love being able to see how he's doing throughout my working day so would be good if it worked consistently.

Our daughter has attended Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery since she was 8 months old. She settled really quickly which was a huge relief for us. She is almost 2 now and she has loved every single day at nursery! She is very close to her key worker who has been amazing with her!
We love getting the
updates about her activities, what she eats etc., it's nice to see what she has been up to.

Such a lovely nursery. Lots of great activities, enthusiastic and very reassuring staff. Our little boy has thrived since being there for the last year and a half. There's a really nice "vibe" when you walk in and I always get a good feeling. Any concerns we've raised have all been addressed immediately

My child attends Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery and they are absolutely thriving. I was hesitant at first when my child started, as we hadn't been apart before, but I was instantly put at ease when I saw how happy and looked after my child was. My child's days are filled with fun and educational activities
and the freedom to explore their personality. They are fed well and always kept clean and looked after. My only criticism is the switch in food menu when it comes to spring/summer - the dinner is more of a snack type of meal instead of a hot meal and my child rarely eats it so we need to provide another separate meal once home. Although this isn't directly related to Bluebell as it's provided by catering. I would just like to see a substantial afternoon/evening meal instead of picky bits. The autumn/winter menu is great! I cannot recommend Bluebell Barn enough and if I have more children, they will also attend there.

Our daughter has attended Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery from the age of 9 months old and has absolutely loved it. All the staff have been really friendly, helpful and informative. I was so nervous about leaving her in the care of others, especially so young, but she's attended for almost a year now
and her development has skyrocketed and she is so well looked after. Genuinely couldn't be happier with our experience so far.

I'm so pleased with my daughter's response to going to Bluebell Barn Children's Nursery. They do lots of activities and have a musical group attend the nursery which is a great bonus. She is always happy when I drop her off and pick her up. She seems to have settled in really well and enjoys seeing
other children there. I would like to see more one-on-one activities, like reading for development, but other than that. I'm very happy and the staff are lovely.

She started with Bluebell nurseries in September 2013 where she began as an apprentice, Elle worked super hard and achieved her level 3 qualification. In her exciting 7 years of working at Bluebell Barn, she has had the privilege of working across all 3 rooms with all ages between 0-5 years.


Elle has a wonderfully calm professional and bubbly personality that makes her the perfect Nursery teacher and leader.


Having recently been promoted and taken on the role of Nursery Manager, Elle continues her journey of awe and wonder at Bluebell Barn nursery

Hi, I'm Abi. I have worked at Bluebell Barn for almost 5 years now, after completing my Bachelor's degree in 'early childhood studies,' where I gained experience and knowledge in the early years sector. Bluebell Barn has been an amazing place to practice my skills and continue my professional development through my career progression.


I am so pleased to have made wonderful relationships with the staff and the lovely parents and families.


My favourite part of working with children is helping the new children and their families settle into the setting, watching them reach their next steps, and providing a safe, fun, and happy place to grow!


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing yoga and reading.
