N Family Club - Cobham

Our daughter has now been at Red Balloon for nearly 3 years and we have been extremely impressed and happy with the Red Balloon Cobham. They have a friendly and happy environment and this is something you notice from your first visit to the nursery. We visited 5 nurseries before enrolling our daughter to Red Balloon and it was very obvious that in comparison to other nurseries Red Balloon has a high standard of care and excellent management and staff team. Staff in each room has been exceptional in paying attention to our daughter's requirements and they spend time to get to know her every time she moved up to a new room. We highly recommend Red Balloon Cobham, it is without a doubt an experience we will remember it with happy memories and best satisfaction from a nursery.

My daughter runs into Red Balloon every day really excited to see everyone and comes home very happy, chattering about the other children and staff. She is certainly learning new things every day and becoming more and more independent. The staff are really caring and all know the children well. The nursery has kept things amazingly normal (as far as permitted) through the pandemic, which has been fantastic. Sue has continued to provide great food.

My husband and I have been extremely impressed and happy with the Red Balloon nursery in Cobham. My daughters’ key worker has been the most caring and affectionate person towards our daughter from the moment they met. Thanks to key workers’ patience and kindness, our daughter has settled in beautifully. We are very thankful to have found Red Balloon and been assigned a wonderful key worker. Saying this, it’s clearly all members of the Nest team who take great care of all the children of all ages and for that, we are forever thankful. We look forward to seeing our daughter grow and flourish at the Red Balloon.

Both my daughters attended Red Balloon from the age of 1 year old. As a family, we were with Red Balloon for 5 years and very sad when it was our time to leave and move on to school. It is a wonderfully warm and caring nursery with a fantastic staff team. The staff make such efforts to know each child individually - my daughters are quite different personalities but both thrived at Red Balloon. There is a lovely, kind focus on building confidence and supporting the children to reach their own individual milestones in their development. The nursery invests well in its resources for learning through play in each room and also offers a really good menu. There's plenty of variety in activities each day (plus Forest School) and the staff regularly record observations of the children online for the parents' information. Above all, we were most grateful for Red Balloon's family feel - with the fun and laughter that was there every day. Thank you for all the hugs and giggles over the years!

This is a first-class nursery, and I am so grateful that my son was able to have a really good start. Everyone is very professional, polite and friendly. They provide complete peace of mind when dropping off my two-year-old, and I appreciate everything they do for him.

Our son has been at Red Balloon for 2 years now and absolutely loves it, he couldn’t wait to go back after lockdown! The staff are friendly and caring. They do a wide range of activities including forest school but also make sure that the children have free play and time to let their imaginations run wild. It’s a great place.

Our daughter has now been at Red Balloon for nearly 3 years and we have been consistently delighted with the support, attention and development she has received from all staff. She is so happy there and we have absolute peace of mind that she is receiving the best possible care. The facilities, staff and food are all great and it is lovely being able to see her through the day via the camera system. The extra lengths the nursery goes to in organising events such as Sports Day and the Nativity, as well as multiple other special days and cultural events through the year, are incredible and always much appreciated by the children and parents. The management team are invariably supportive and flexible in dealing with issues or specific requests and their communication with parents has always been fantastic - most especially during the recent crisis. We are so pleased with our choice of Red Balloon and would recommend it without hesitation.

We have been hugely impressed by Red Balloon since our son started there in February. The standard of care and emphasis on nurturing confident young children is a cut above our previous nursery in West London, at a significantly lower cost too! The thing that really makes Red Balloon special is the quality of leadership. The management team is exceptional, both in their interaction with the staff (I recall one evening seeing the manager personally thanking all the staff as they left the building) and in the clarity of their communication with parents, eg. through a weekly newsletter. And this strength of leadership, together with the passion and commitment of the owners, has been clear throughout the Coronavirus crisis. They handled an extraordinary situation extraordinarily well, and I have full confidence in their ability to establish a safe yet still welcoming environment in the weeks ahead. We would have no hesitation in recommending Red Balloon to any family.

I was so impressed at how Red Balloon handled communication and expectations at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown. They were very transparent in their calculations in justifying a nominal fee while the nursery was closed; very generous with their discount to parents in light of the uncertainty of goverment funding towards the sector and seemed genuinely intent on retaining their valued staff so that the nursery would be in the best position once distancing measures were lifted. It is a difficult business to run at the best of times and I have full admiration for the staff and management there - always great service towards parents, and most importantly an amazing and nurturing environment for my children.

My son is quite shy in busy environments and around new people. The staff at the nursery have celebrated my son and his unique self. I’m so pleased that those supporting my little quickly get to know his routine, likes and dislikes and are so keen to support his development responsively. My son gets to play and engage in a wealth of activities and try lovely new foods. Any changes or concerns which may impact on my son are always communicated efficiently and sympathetically by the staff, this has been hugely reassuring throughout but particularly during the coronavirus situation. I have been confident that my son has been happy in safe hands, whilst I continued to work as a key worker. The nursery really do go the extra mile to ensure the children are developing to the best of their potential at the nursery. The improvement in my child’s confidence and development during his time at the nursery is immeasurable. I can’t thank the staff enough.

Red Balloon Cobham have always exceeded my expectations. The care they have given my child during her time at this nursery will always be something I will be grateful for. They are so incredibly welcoming. Every single member of staff goes above and beyond their job and they really focus on the children and their individual needs. I honestly don’t know how they manage to remember absolutely every detail that my child requires but it shows how much the staff care and she enjoys her days there so much. Every day is filled with so many different fun activities including varied and nutritious meals, she has such a good relationship with all the staff, it especially shows when I come to pick her up at the end of the day, she wants to carry on playing and cuddle with the staff. There was an occasion where she actually tried to get back in once we had walked out the door at home time! I highly recommend Red Balloon Cobham, the whole team (including office team) are lovely.

All staff are always cheery and friendly. The kids are clearly very happy. We've been delighted with our daughter's progress at Red Balloon, she's made great progress and has an excellent relationship with the lovely staff.

We reviewed several nurseries for our (then) 18 month old before visiting Red Balloon and left ready to sign her up there and then! It was without a doubt head and shoulders above the rest, whilst on par in terms of fees. The staff are energetic and enthusiastic, the facility well-equipped and clean, outdoor activity is a real focus (garden play, Forest School, trips to the local woods), and the freshly-prepared and varied menu would convert even the pickiest of eaters! The webcam is a super addition, particularly in the early days when your child is settling, but also throughout the years when you simply want to check in and see your loved one playing happily in their environment. All staff members know all the children (and parents!), not just those in their own room, which makes transitioning up a room much easier and gives a real family feel to the whole place. The fact that my (now) 4 year old never wants to leave is testament enough!

The staff in each room we been part of has been exceptional and resulted in a strong bond and trust our daughter developed. She blossomed from day one and gained social confidence she wouldn’t have done anywhere else.

We moved to the area from South West London and as soon as we inspected Red Balloon Cobham it was impossible to choose anywhere else as the facilities and staff shone instantly. Red Balloon had space for our girls to attend part-time and settling in was made very easy by the loving and caring staff. Our girls have very different personalities and the amazing staff here have always nurtured and encouraged them.

Red Balloon Cobham has been incredible from the moment we first visited to see if we wanted to send our child there. The staff are warm and welcoming and develop a joint working approach with parents. It feels like they are a huge part of the children’s lives and they take time to get to know the families as well as the children they look after. It’s apparent that the nursery have an outstanding Ofsted rating from the observations carried out to the activities the children are involved in. We also love the camera system as it means we can check in on our child throughout the day and gives us that peace of mind. We have been so very happy sending our child to Red Balloon. For us, it’s about the happiness of our child and trusting those looking after them and Red Balloon provides both of those important things.

The Red Balloon has cared for my two boys over the course of the last 8/9 years, it is such a loving, caring and super fun environment. The staff are exceptional and always strive to give their all in looking after all the children. Both my boys have left as happy, confident individuals which is totally down to the fantastic environment. I would recommend to anyone.

This week we joined Red Balloon's annual charity event 'Toddler Waddle' at the Claremont Garden. It is very well organised. All the children had lots of fun, waddling for a good cause. Red Balloon has a great team of people, all friendly, capable and just simply love what they do. It is great to see all the effort the team has put into organising such event. Toddler Waddle is a great example of one of many events that Red Balloon organises for the children throughout the year. A great team deserves great compliment. Keep up the good work Red Balloon.
