Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School provides an exceptional environment and a wonderful quality of care and development for babies and young children from three months up to five years of age. It is their aim to ensure that children 'graduate' to Big School having grown into confident, caring, independent people who are prepared in every way for the next stage of life's learning journey.

Rainbow children enjoy five acres of gardens including nine well-equipped, enclosed, all-weather playgrounds, their own animal sanctuary, galleon, Teletubby hill, allotments, and a children's maze. They also have a double-decker bus, a farm classroom and Forest School sessions are run everyday whatever the weather.

A highly qualified team of staff draw upon a huge range of knowledge, experience and resources to ensure that the children get the maximum learning and development out of enjoying themselves, playing and having fun.

The nursery are very good at communicating with parents via telephone when needed and email. They provide a weekly summary of what your child will be working on that week. This was nice to read so I could talk to my child at home about what he was learning.
Staff are always friendly to parents and
listen to any concerns.
Staff are very nurturing towards the children and are sympathetic to those who take longer to settle.

A really lovely nursery in an amazing setting - my daughter has been very happy hear and met some lovely friends. The staff are all very caring and understanding and I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery.

My son attended Rainbows for almost four years, until he started school this term. Both he and I truely loved it. The facilities are fantastic - there is so much outdoor space. The staff are brilliant, actually teaching the kids things like numbers, manners and about the world. Extra curricular music
and sports lessons are also available (and excellent!).
The atmosphere of the whole place is fantastically friendly - the nursery has over 200 kids in, but it feels like all the staff know all the children and will say 'hello' when they met in the corridor. I seriously cannot fault the nursery, it's awesome.

I cannot express how fabulous this nursery has been for my daughter who attended from nine months old until recently when she started school.
The staff are all amazing and the facilities are second to none. We were truly spoilt to be able to send our child here. Her school have commented on how much
she has learnt already as this nursery already follows the early years learning before the children leave for school.
Everything is provided including meals, sun creams, nappy creams etc. Allergies and special diets are also catered for very well.
My daughter loved her time here and always wanted to stay longer at home time. We have made so many friends in our time here and we will miss it terribly.

My son was at Rainbow for 2 years and loved every minute. He looked forward to going in and didn't want to leave at home time. The staff at Rainbow have always been very friendly and accommodating.
The kids are spoilt at Rainbow. They get breakfast, snack and tea. As well as sun lotion and nappies
provided. It's a great nursery. So much for them to do there. Great land and gardens for them to run around in and explore. A farm and an allotment that they can plant seeds in etc. He (and us) will miss it there.


They do so much with and for the kids. We'll definitely be enrolling our other son next year.

Both of my children have been to Rainbows and both love it. It absolutely relieves any working parent guilt when you pick up happy children who have bonded with staff and who are absolutely thriving in the nurturing environment that Rainbows have created. My daughter has recently graduated having started
at one and thanks to Rainbows she is absolutely ready for school not only academically but socially and she has such confidence. She's just taken it all in her stride.


My children are very different characters and I feel that the care and love my children have received is very much tailored to them. Throughout they've been loved for who they are and allowed to grow at their pace, their way which was really important to me.


And those grounds!! The grounds are just fantastic and are used to a great effect by the nursery. I am big into outdoor play and experience so it has been wonderful to find a nursery with the same values.


I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

My daughter attended Rainbow 5 days a week from February 2014 to September 2017. I can thoroughly recommend it. We have made many friends of parents, staff and children.
The setting of Rainbow was amazing - great facilities and lovely grounds. The outdoor space is amazing.
The staff are wonderful,
loving and caring.
Based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend Rainbow to everyone.

Rainbow is an extremely special place. We looked at over 7 nurseries and loved Rainbow due to the CCTV and the open space. We have 2 children there and had very very difficult issues with my young son and nothing, and I mean nothing has been an issue dealing with him. The management are fully immersed
in each child, every carer knows their name and cannot do enough for them.


The staff are all permanent and committed to each child's development. I will be so sad to leave the nursery as the children and ourselves has found it invaluable. Both my children come home so excited saying we did painting, tree climbing, played in the maze, grew vegetables, went to the farm. Oh and here is a picture of us as a family and look mummy I wrote my name on it!!!

My daughter has absolutely loved being at Rainbow. She first joined at 13 months & is leaving to head to infant school at 4yrs old. My daughter has learnt so much whilst being at nursery & I can't thank her key carers enough for all their time, love & support they have shown our daughter. Her last
day is going to be a very sad day leaving everyone. Thankyou!

My daughter has been attending Rainbow for 2 and a half years. I can genuinely recognise how she has developed, became confident in herself. It has a huge input in her personality development.
We loved the different activities, innovative and beneficial, that we have been communicated every week by
the the newsletter.
The outside space is amazing, having a farm is definitely a bonus.
Staff know how to balance discipline and freedom, they teach good manners, respect and kindness.
I would definitely recommend the nursery, its feels like family, with directors being hands on everything which is definitely a positive.

This nursery and the fabulous staff restored my faith in nurseries after a poor experience somewhere else. My child is now confident and happy and I am happier he will integrate into school.


The time and effort staff put in is above and beyond. I am simply sad I didn't find them sooner. Cannot more

Rainbow Nursery School has been a wonderful experience for us. Both of our children attended Rainbow. It was a comfort for us to know that our children were in a safe, happy and loving environment.
The indoor and outdoor facilities are great. The large outdoor space is stunning - our children love
outdoor play.
The best interests of each of our children were kept at heart by management and their carers. Everyone has shown their care, consideration, patience and respect to us and our children.
Thank you to each of every person at Rainbow, who has put so much effort into our children’s growth and development. They have been so loved and well taken care of there, and we are sad to say goodbye.
The management team and everyone at Rainbow, thank you for everything over the years and for the safe and happy experience you have provided for our children.
We will miss you so much Rainbow!

We are so happy about Rainbow Nursery. Kids nursery age is so important because they learn everything from nursery other than parent training. I personally feel they treat all kids at the same level, no discrimination, nice and friendly atmosphere for kids. Excellent. Wonderful staff. Enough space to
play. Lovely atmosphere for kids, to a peaceful place for the nursery, so nice and organised, enough staff to look after the kids. Healthy food. I'm so impressed about the nursery. Money wise, a little expensive for some parents. Many thanks and all the best wishes for Rainbow Nursery.

We have absolutely loved being part of the Rainbow Nursery. My son has very much enjoyed his time there. The farm and amount of open space for the little ones to run around is amazing. All the staff and extremely friendly and professional. We will be sad to leave, however, we would highly recommend

An outstanding nursery with amazing staff and outstanding grounds and facilities. My son was very shy yet his transition to school was easy and I believe I owe this entirely to the staff at nursery who have given him self-confidence and helped prepare him for the school routines.
I wouldn't hesitate
to recommend this nursery to anyone, and in fact, my second child also attends and also loves it!

I looked at nurseries and found this nursery had everything you could possibly offer a child at childcare. Staff are friendly and well trained. The facilities at the nursery are extremely rare compared to other nurseries. For example, the animal farm and 5 acre of land is amazing for child development.
The nursery is structured to catered for all age groups. They have separate outdoor play areas for the different age groups so this way the older and younger children are not clashing which can be intimidating to the younger ones. Also, in terms of development we did not need toilet train or teach our children to use cutlery, the nursery did this for us. They also have a unique child care system whereby if you wanted your child to sleep at a specific time or eat at a different time to the rest of the children, they cater for this. Food is freshly prepared everyday and children eat 6 times a day. Loads of parking space so it is never a struggle to find parking. Best nursery ever!!

My daughter attended here since she was 3 years old. The facilities for the children are amazing - a maze, a farm with donkey`s, rabbits and chicks to learn to take care of, a vegetable garden, numerous playgrounds, sand pits, picnics outside, a ball pit. The children go out for a walk every day and
whatever the weather, it's great!
As for the staff, they all work very hard and genuinely care about our children. My daughter has really bonded with her key carers in both Cygnets and Swans. They also are doing a great job in establishing the best start for children in the school. I would recommend Rainbow with no doubt.

My daughter attended here since she was 9 months old. This nursery is an amazing place with so many facilities for the children. The summer is when Rainbow comes into its own! A maze, a farm with animals, a vegetable garden, numerous playgrounds, sand pits, picnics outside, a ball pit (a personal favourite
of my daughters!). The children go out for a walk every day in the summer and whatever the weather, it's great! They put on hats and gloves and go out in the winter months too. Cooking every other week was also a favourite of my daughters.
The food is well balanced and my daughter has got to try many new flavours that perhaps I wouldn't have cooked at home.
As for the staff, they all work very hard and genuinely care about our children. My daughter has now started school and has some beautiful memories of her time at Rainbow and still speaks about her friends and carers.
We both miss Rainbow very much and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

My 2 sons attended Rainbow both from 11 months. It is an exceptional place with outdoor space which cannot be bettered. They both enjoyed their time and learned through play. The range of activities was incredible (from handling baby chicks to making pasta necklaces and everything in between). It is
well run and the communication is excellent.
I particularly liked the feedback at the end of the day - often a remark my son said or an achievement he did. I believe this is unusual for a big nursery like this. They supported potty training and were good about informing me about any bumps and scrapes they'd had. Their time at Rainbow was undoubtedly very special.
There are some exceptional members of staff there which make Rainbow what it is. Their love, warmth and ongoing enthusiasm make Rainbow such a magical place for a child to be. I would definitely recommend, it is an ideal stepping stone for school.
