Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School

My son and my daughter have both attended Rainbow from the ages of about 1 year through to leaving to start school. When we were looking for a suitable nursery we looked at a number of different ones in our area and even though Rainbow was not the most convenient for us to get to we knew that the children had to go there! The setting itself is beautiful, an old Priory property, with a large amount of outside space for the children which was a real deciding factor for us as we wanted the children to have lots of outdoor time. Rainbow have a great policy that even it's raining they get the kids in their waterproof gear and get out there so they get outdoor time. The staff are incredible from the owners through to the caretaker! We have felt confident in leaving the children with every carer they have and know that they will be looked after and given great experiences throughout their days there. We would highly recommend Rainbow to anyone looking for a nursery.

Our son leaves in Sept to go to school and we will be very sad. Rainbow have really supported him (he had a speech delay, when he started he only used a few words, now he is thriving), they encouraged his speech through many learning techniques, phonics, storytelling and patience.

My daughter is about to leave Rainbow to start school and I'm heartbroken! She has attended Rainbow since she was 9 months old. It used to be on my way to work, but following a change of workplace I now go in the opposite direction to get her there. No other nursery, in my opinion, comes close to what Rainbow can offer; from the fun stuff to the facilities available, to the welcoming atmosphere, you get with absolutely everyone from the maintenance guys to the owners. A nursery that is second to none.

Fantastic nursery with multiple opportunities for growth and development. Staff are caring and our daughter loves her time in the nursery.

On a more personal note, our daughter attended Rainbows from nine months to five years old. During this time she was diagnosed with severe learning difficulties and suffered numerous seizures. This was a very difficult time for our family, however, the Rainbows team were all very supportive in pushing for additional help being an inclusive childcare provider. I am unsure if she would have received this level of support elsewhere. Our two sons currently attend and have fantastic key workers who we would like to acknowledge. Thanks.

My son and I LOVE Rainbow Nursery. He is so excited to go "see friends" and his carers whom he tells me are his friends too. His carers always greet him with a smile and joyful attitude. He is so excited to see everyone that he sometimes just runs off without looking back or even saying goodbye. I love hearing him talk about his day, how he has painted, looked at the ponies or rabbits, rode bikes, planted in the garden, etc. I love that there seems to be so much outside time.

Rainbow is great at documenting what your child does daily. I love receiving art projects that have been laminated and dated. In just one year my son has developed so much. I am sad to be moving away from such a great place! As much as I will miss it, I know my son will miss it so much more. We will never find another place like it.

Rainbow Nursery is really excellent! My daughter has been there for 2 years and loves it. She's currently in the Bears room for 2-3-year-olds and the carers in that room are amazing! They are really great with the kids - so caring! They do so many fun projects with the kids and I'm constantly impressed with what my daughter is learning. There are really great outdoor facilities at Rainbow with the farm, the maze and all the different play areas. The only reason I didn't put value for money as excellent is because I find all nurseries in the area very expensive. Thank you Rainbow for taking such good care of my daughter!

So grateful to know the Rainbow Nursery, outstanding in all aspects. Staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. My daughter loves to be there and this means everything!

My son attended Rainbows for just over 2 years and loved every moment he was there. As a parent, I was at ease knowing my son was being properly cared for and learning and developing in a safe controlled environment. Rainbow is a wonderful nursery with lovely caring staff who I felt really cared for my son. They do lots of activities with the children to help their learning and development, I saw new development in my son on a weekly basis from things he had learnt. The nursery has huge grounds outside for the children to play in and my son loved the little farm with the animals as well. Rainbow is a wonderful nursery and I can't recommend enough to people.

My eldest son attended Rainbow Nursery and my youngest son currently still attends. We couldn't be happier with the standard of childcare they provide. All staff and management make you feel welcome and will always say hello and make your child feel special. The indoor and outdoor space is amazing and the children learn so much. My boys especially like the maze and the farm areas, not to mention the fun bus!

I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a unique environment where your child will thrive in. Most of the time my youngest doesn't want to leave to come home!

Our 2 children went to Rainbow for 2+ years each and we were very happy they did. They were loved and cared for every day.

Our son's extra needs were noticed and investigated immediately. We were consulted and helped every step of the way. We knew that they had his best interests at heart. They loved, comforted and helped him grow each day.

Staff are very nurturing towards the children and are sympathetic to those who take longer to settle.

A really lovely nursery in an amazing setting - my daughter has been very happy hear and met some lovely friends. The staff are all very caring and understanding and I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery.

My daughter loved her time here and always wanted to stay longer at home time. We have made so many friends in our time here and we will miss it terribly.

The atmosphere of the whole place is fantastically friendly - the nursery has over 200 kids in, but it feels like all the staff know all the children and will say 'hello' when they met in the corridor. I seriously cannot fault the nursery, it's awesome.

The kids are spoilt at Rainbow. They get breakfast, snack and tea. As well as sun lotion and nappies provided. It's a great nursery. So much for them to do there. Great land and gardens for them to run around in and explore. A farm and an allotment that they can plant seeds in etc. He (and us) will miss it there.

They do so much with and for the kids. We'll definitely be enrolling our other son next year.

Both of my children have been to Rainbows and both love it. It absolutely relieves any working parent guilt when you pick up happy children who have bonded with staff and who are absolutely thriving in the nurturing environment that Rainbows have created. My daughter has recently graduated having started at one and thanks to Rainbows she is absolutely ready for school not only academically but socially and she has such confidence. She's just taken it all in her stride.

My children are very different characters and I feel that the care and love my children have received is very much tailored to them. Throughout they've been loved for who they are and allowed to grow at their pace, their way which was really important to me.

And those grounds!! The grounds are just fantastic and are used to a great effect by the nursery. I am big into outdoor play and experience so it has been wonderful to find a nursery with the same values.

I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

Based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend Rainbow to everyone.

Rainbow is an extremely special place. We looked at over 7 nurseries and loved Rainbow due to the CCTV and the open space. We have 2 children there and had very very difficult issues with my young son and nothing, and I mean nothing has been an issue dealing with him. The management are fully immersed in each child, every carer knows their name and cannot do enough for them.

The staff are all permanent and committed to each child's development. I will be so sad to leave the nursery as the children and ourselves has found it invaluable. Both my children come home so excited saying we did painting, tree climbing, played in the maze, grew vegetables, went to the farm. Oh and here is a picture of us as a family and look mummy I wrote my name on it!!!

My daughter has absolutely loved being at Rainbow. She first joined at 13 months & is leaving to head to infant school at 4yrs old. My daughter has learnt so much whilst being at nursery & I can't thank her key carers enough for all their time, love & support they have shown our daughter. Her last day is going to be a very sad day leaving everyone. Thankyou!
