Partou Playtime Day Nursery & Pre-school, is a warm and welcoming nursery providing high-quality care and delivering outstanding outcomes for their children. Playtime Nursery Shepperton, follows a simple ethos where its believed that children should be allowed to be children and the adults who look after them should believe that too. They use real and authentic items in play which provides many more learning opportunities and encourages children to have proper experiences.

Playtime Nursery Shepperton has a large outside space that is used by all age groups, and a free flow outside space attached to the toddlers room.

Their highly trained practitioners believe in nurturing children’s individual interests to help them develop and grow in all areas of their education and well being. Learning through play is at the heart of what they do.

Freshly prepared meals are offered, catering for allergies and special dietary requirements.

My child has been attending the nursery since June 2020, a difficult time to join with all the COVID restrictions and implications. The staff have done their best to keep everything running smoothly and I think they have done really well. I haven't been able to go in and really see very much for myself
due to the restrictinos however the communication from staff and the Tapestry logs are very helpful and I am confident the service being provided is very good.

Such a lovely nursery with lovely, friendly staff. My daughter has been going here for nearly a year and she is very settled. We moved our daughter to Playtime Nursery in Shepperton in September 2020 after a period of 6 months out of a nursery setting, and it's been the best decision we could have made. She settled in immediately and is loving her time at the nursery. She’s made lots of new friends and loves the staff so much.
The staff are all really friendly and so caring towards the children in their care. Cannot recommend enough.

I’m so grateful I found Playtime in Shepperton. I was very nervous sending my son to nursery for the first time, but they made the transition so easy and my son loves going to nursery.
Their online portal makes it easy to see what my son is doing during the day and also what he’s eating.
The nursery
staff are very caring, I can see my son has a bond with his key workers and they make a big effort to provide lots of different activities and learning opportunities.
My son has come on so much since he has started at Playtime Nursery Shepperton, his speech has improved and he is more confident. Even though we have moved recently I will still keep him at Playtime as I know he’s happy.

Both my children started the nursery in June this year. I have been impressed with every aspect of their service. My children are very happy there and are so excited when I drop them off. The manger and the staff are warm and friendly, and I have no reserves recommending the nursery.

The nursery has handled the covid-19 restrictions quite well. My twin daughters often tell me how much fun they have had at the school.
All the teachers are friendly towards my 4-year-old twin daughters. The manager is lovely to work with, and my children adore her! Overall the nursery is quite organized
and well run! Would highly recommend!

Playtime Shepperton have really supported our daughter in settling into nursery and then resettled following COVID. She always comes home happy as if she’s had a wonderful day. My son has attended Playtime since he was 2 years old and what a positive experience this has been. He has developed in so many ways, his social skills, language and confidence. His key worker and all the staff are amazing, I feel very grateful to have found such a happy environment for him to be in
where he can grow and learn. I like that I can look at his observations whenever on his tapestry learning journal and termly parent's evening are held. The menu is very nutritious and healthy snacks are given during the day. The management team are excellent, always around to help and very approachable nothing is ever too much trouble.
I highly recommend Playtime Nursery - Shepperton, thank you so much for looking after my boy!

My son had only had a few settling in sessions in preschool just before lockdown so wasn't very familiar with the nursery.
The communication from the manager during the lockdown period has been amazing and I always felt like I was in the loop and up to speed with what the nursery's plans were with
regards to reopening and the measures that the nursery were taking to ensure a safe return for everyone which made me feel at ease about sending my son back. On his first day back after the reopening, he was quite apprehensive about going into the nursery which made me feel really sad about dropping him off. When I picked him up in the afternoon he ran out covered in dirt and looked like he had just had the best day running around with his friends getting mucky - it was just what he had needed after 3 months on lockdown! I asked him if he had had a nice day and he told me that he really likes his teachers. Brilliant nursery!

Playtime Nursery has been amazing for my little boy, (18 Months) he was really struggling being left with anyone else but myself (mummy) but Playtime have been so helpful doing everything possible to make the transition easier for everyone involved. My little boy now has his arms open for his key worker
when we walk in which is so lovely to see. All the staff are so caring and informative with great management. My little boy's speech and interaction with other children has come on so much since starting playtime. Great nursery, I would highly recommend.

We came to Playtime after having such a bad experience at a previous nursery, we had reservations about moving as our son is in his last year. We are so glad we did he has come on loads and his speech has improved so much. The best decision we have made.

Since picking up my granddaughter twice a week you can see that she loves being here.
The girls are great, someone will always meet you and tell you what sort of day they have had.

I was worried that my daughter would struggle to settle in after being with a childminder for 6 months, but she settled in straight away - and that’s because everyone who works there is so friendly and approachable! I love that I get a little report on her day when I pick her up, and the nursery is
also very flexible at trying to accommodate different work needs! I wish that I’d moved my little girl sooner!

Hello! I'm Lynn and I achieved my NNEB qualification in 1985 and my BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies degree after a little break in 2015! I have worked in daycare for the majority of my career, including 25 years of managing successful nurseries. I have always enjoyed working with families which naturally led me to my current role of Parent Relationship Manager with All About Children, whom I have enjoyed working for since 2014, and I find it really rewarding to assist parents in answering their queries and supporting them in choosing the right childcare for their child.

I previously worked at Chapel House Day Nursery and have recently returned from maternity leave after having a little girl of my own, this has given me a much better insight into the challenges many working families have and I hope that this will support to service we are able to offer.
