Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham)

I have one child in pre-school and one in Bumblebees at Pennypot Nursery Cobham. They are both incredibly settled there and look forward to going in. The ethos is very child-led and practitioners will often restructure or redirect activities around the developing interests of the children. Communication from practitioners on drop off and collection is excellent and they are very flexible and accommodating. Their key workers are always there to greet them - if they are going to be absent on any day, they always let us know with plenty of notice and another practitioner is ready to meet and greet in their place. The office team are also excellent - emails and calls are responded to promptly and efficiently, and they are always happy, helpful and polite. I trust Pennypot Nursery Cobham completely with the physical, emotional and social development of my children, and I am grateful to have found such a supportive, proactive and nurturing environment.

My son started at Pennypots around 18 months ago after attended another local nursery. We had become quite unhappy with his setting hence the need to look around other nurseries. The minute we stepped into Pennypots we could see it was a lovely, nurturing environment for the children. The staff genuinely care for the children and my son is very fond of them all. My son is starting school this September and is also a September born baby and he continues to learn every day. We have no concern that he may be getting bored (being one of the oldest). The range of activities he does at the nursery keeps him interested and enhance his learning every day. We have been so impressed with the nursery that we will be sad to be leaving this summer.

I have two children currently at Pennypot Nursery and they have both absolutely loved it there from day one. They moved there from another nursery when we moved house and we could not be happier that we chose Pennypot - the staff are all extremely friendly and caring making it a lovely environment for our children to be in. I love the outdoor space that the children have access to and that they spend so much time outdoors. They are also really focused on the children's development, which we have been very pleased with. In summary, we are extremely happy with Pennypot and could not recommend it more highly.

Our son attended this nursery and we were more than pleased with his learning and experience. Everyone is caring and kind. As soon as our daughter was born she was placed on the waiting list. We discovered our daughter had additional needs. The team have been outstanding in their support of us throughout this challenging time. The level of care, support and love they shown us and our daughter has been overwhelming. Our daughter has progressed in leaps and bounds. We would highly recommend this nursery to any parent and especially those with kids with additional needs.

It's so caring and great to see a team passionate and devoted and take time out to treat and support your child. Keep up the great work.

What really has surprised/delighted me is how the manager, receptionists and nursery staff have taken the time to really get to know our daughter and us. It’s the loveliest atmosphere walking in! I was so worried that I would be called a lot in the first few months and have to miss work because of illness etc but that hasn’t been the case at all. It’s such a great nursery.

We are really impressed with Pennypots facilities, especially the outdoor space. Communication from keyworkers and management is excellent which is a big part of the overall experience as parents.

So highly recommend.

My son has attended this nursery since November 2015. From the start, they were great at settling him and accommodating my needs. I had been recommended the nursery and I immediately liked the surroundings, activities available and staff. Working full time, the fact that they operated full day hours and provided all meals was amazing. I could leave my precious son in a place without any concerns or worries. They have supported his development all along to preparing him for school, with special assistance around his speech and use parent zone so we can contribute also. They also run lots of amazing activities outside nursery hours for the children supporting charities. I highly recommend them overall.

A big thank you for the excellent care you all gave to both of our children. I would definitely recommend Pennypot. Excellent full-time care, great facilities including outdoor, continuous improvements and always with a smile. An easy and unforgettable journey.

On entering the nursery you are met with very friendly staff, always a smile on their faces! The nursery itself offers lots of activities for the children. The nursery staff keep you well informed about the child's day. There is a lot of interaction between the staff and child and you can sense that they are very committed to their profession. My Grandson is absolutely thriving at Penny Pot Nursery. I would have no hesitations in recommending this nursery to future parents.

The experience at Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham) has been fantastic. The staff here are kind, understanding and genuinely care about the children in their care. As a parent, I can go to work reassured that my children are safe having a lot of fun, eating nutritious food and being exposed to different creative activities.

The meals are varied and all home cooked and the staff take the children into the outdoor space when suitable. A great first impression.

In 2017, our youngest joined his older brother at Pennypot Day Nursery. We have trust and confidence in the nursery that his experience will be equally special.

When I visited Pennypot Day Nursery for the first time, everyone was warm and friendly and a child ran up and hugged the Manager so my first impression was of a really friendly, nurturing place with capable staff. My 2 children are really happy there, settled very quickly and are nice and tired at the end of the day! The staff are all so lovely and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The staff at Pennypot Day Nursery have been so helpful and welcoming. They have made the process of nursery and returning to work so much easier than I thought it would be. Everyone here is upbeat and always say hello and hi, even the staff from other rooms, then my child knows his name and likes to interact with him.
