Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham)

I don't have enough good words to describe Pennypot Nursery. It is a special place where my child feels at home. My daughter absolutely loves to go there. The staff is super friendly and they take good care of the children. The care, love and support they give to the children is fantastic.

What an amazing nursery. My son started in September and he honestly loves it so much. The pre-school room is great with free access outdoors constantly. The staff are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Pennypot Day Nursery is the most fantastic nursery and if I could have kept my daughter there for school I would have! She started at 12 months old so has experienced every room in the nursery and has honestly had the best time in each one! The staff are all so attentive, genuinely care, and provide endless fun and activities to stimulate the children and encourage their learning and development. I have never felt concerned that my daughters needs weren't being anything less than 100% met. Everyone is very friendly, and there is a lovely atmosphere throughout the setting. The facilities are brilliant with a very cool playground for the over 2's, tonnes of toys and equipment for the children to use and everything is clean and looked after. The food menu is varied and healthy - sometimes a bit eclectic but it's good to try new things! Highly, highly recommend!

The team also do a huge amount of work for charity, a community-focused company giving back to those around.

Pennypot has been absolutely brilliant with my little one. He’s not found it easy with starting, stopping and then starting again due to Covid but all the staff have been fab with him.

They’ve gone above and beyond to encourage him to settle quickly and he really enjoy his time there.

They’ve also been great with me, even calling me straight away (before I’ve even left the car park), or sending staff out to the car park quick enough to tell me that he’s already stopped crying and is now happily playing.

I was worried that he wouldn’t sleep well in the room as he’s not the best sleeper but he’s had no problems settling there and they’ve also been great with his food allergies and intolerances. I’ve not felt that he’s missed out in that respect. He can be fussy too but I know that he’ll always be offered extra snacks, or seconds of what he does like so he doesn’t go hungry!

I would definitely recommend Pennypot to anyone looking for 5* childcare around the Chobham area.

Like all new parents I was very nervous about going back to work and leaving our little one at nursery, not least because she had met so few people during her first year due to Covid. We visited a number of nurseries before choosing Pennypot but we knew as soon as we had our first show round that this was the right nursery for us. The engagement from the team always feels genuine and personal and after 6 months of attending Pennypot our little one absolutely adores the girls who look after her in Caterpillars. The facilities at the nursery are fantastic and we get regular updates (including pics) of what she is getting up to, usually beaming ear to ear! The activities they take part in are both fun and educational and we can really see that our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since she joined. It is so reassuring knowing she is so well cared for and that she really enjoys her days at Pennypot. We are thrilled with our choice and are so grateful to the team!

The Pennypot team have been hugely supportive of my daughter, helping her grow her confidence every day through play and learning. She loves coming to nursery, where she looks forward to playing in the garden and with the other children.

Very pleased with Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham), especially the care and relationship my daughter has built with her key person. Activities and the outside area are brilliant. I do miss the level of detail given over Parent Zone (particularly food) as it can be tricky to have such a detailed handover on pick up, especially trying to restrict my daughter from running around the garden area but otherwise very pleased and satisfied with Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham).

I was a very nervous parent about going back to work and sending my little girl to nursery – but Pennypot has turned out to be the best decision we could have made. My daughter absolutely loves going there, happily waves me off every morning and cries when she gets put in the car to come home (not sure what that says about our parenting skills!!). The staff are fantastic – really caring and friendly. My daughter has made excellent progress in the short time she has been there and loves all the activities they do. We are kept up to date on an app which is very reassuring and helps capture some of the moments we aren’t there for. The variety of food they offer the children is great and my daughter often has seconds! Really very impressed with the nursery and very happy with how settled my daughter is there.

I would massively recommend Pennypot Day Nursery in Chobham. I was extremely anxious to put my Son into the nursery for the first time. The staff have made this an absolute pleasure though, and I couldn’t be happier! The care they provide for my Son is exceptional, the staff are always happy to help, the receptionists, the key workers, the chefs, I have never had a problem with anyone. Nothing is ever too much. The app is also very detailed, it allows me to see what is happening all day. Personally, for me, my Son's Key Person has been exceptional! Always going above and beyond to help us.

I can’t praise Pennypot nursery enough! Our son loves it there and as a working mum that makes me feel so reassured. The staff are fantastic, they really care and it shows. The updates from the app help me feel connected to my son throughout the day and I love seeing the pictures of him playing. Pennypot is just a brilliant nursery and we are so thankful to have them! They are like an extension of the family.

I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for flexible, nurturing and loving childcare!

My daughter loves her days at Pennypot, she has come on leaps and bounds in her development since attending, especially with learning new words and songs. The team leader and her secondary caregiver are so lovely. My daughter is obsessed with them both (sometimes I think she prefers them to me) and I feel very reassured when my daughter is in their care and can get on with work without worry as I know she is having lots of fun and is well looked after. I'm updated regularly throughout the day with photos and updates which is a bonus. A lovely nursery environment and fantastic staff - highly recommended.

We were really nervous for our son to start going to Nursery in June as he was approaching his 1st birthday. The reason being he has had no social interaction what so ever since January this year due to Covid lockdown and has never been separated from me. But the staff at Pennypot are very supportive and kind, they had put all our worries to rest. We started 2-days a week for a month, and then 4-days a week, and now my son is going 5-days a week. We miss him terribly, but the good news is that he does not! He loves it at his nursery, all the staff adore him, and he's enjoying all the attention, love and care he’s getting. The staff take very good care of our baby, and they also keep posting pictures and observations every now then, which keep me and his Papa sane, as we get a glimpse of him playing, doing all sorts of fun activities and making friends! It's very reassuring and satisfying to see he’s so well settled there in just 3-months. We can't thank enough all the lovely ladies at Pennypot!

We have been extremely impressed with the quality of care our child has received over the last year. All of the staff at Pennypot were friendly, kind and welcoming from the outset, and this helped our child to quickly settle into a new routine. They provided daily updates and photos, which helped to reassure us that our child was happy, enjoying a range of different play activities and very well looked after. Our child waves us off each morning with a big smile, which tells us all we need to know!

Since starting at Pennypot 18 months ago after his last nursery closed, we have been so happy with how well our son has settled and developed. The facilities for the preschool room are brilliant, especially the newly done outside area. However, since the Covid situation we have been even more impressed; the communication from the office and the staff in the preschool room has been brilliant throughout and the return to nursery was well planned and seamlessly executed from our point of view. We really can’t recommend Pennypot enough.

As an example, the support offered during the COVID-19 pandemic has been extraordinary, though absolutely within the scope of the previous performance of Pennypot.

Pennypot Day Nursery is excellent. Since my son started there last year I have found all the staff to be friendly, approachable and really caring towards the children. My son absolutely loves going to this nursery! The variety of activities provided and the weekly menus are also great. The nursery has a lovely feel about it and all the staff seem to know the children really well. I feel that my son's development has really accelerated since he started nursery, particularly his speech and social skills. I would highly recommend this nursery to any of my friends or family.

My daughter has attended Pennypot Day Nursery for just over a year now. She has struggled with drop-offs and adjusting to nursery life. I cannot thank the staff enough for how kind and understanding they have been, not only with my little girl but with us as well. It is the most difficult thing to leave your child with someone else, but knowing she was cared so well for and given a cuddle when she needed reassurance meant the world to us. Every morning still to this day we are greeted with positive smiles and a great vibe throughout the whole nursery. I never feel like I am putting them out by calling to ask how her day is going, and being updated with photos via the app is the reassurance my wife needed going back to work. My daughter has flourished here, become more confident and outgoing. We have even started potty training and the staff are incredible, they have been so patient and have helped guide us through the process. In one word Pennypot is outstanding.

Can't speak highly enough of the team and the place. We visited six nurseries before putting our son in as PP (Pennypot) gave us the best feeling, we are so glad we did as it has not disappointed. The staff are so nice and we have really seen positive changes in our son since being there.
