Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham)

We were worried about naps before starting but Pennypot handled that without a hitch. He eats well throughout the day. Overall I can’t fault it!

I have two children currently at Pennypot. The staff in both rooms have built wonderful relationships with them and continually create engaging activities which tap into their specific interests. Not only do they upload regular photos and snapshots of the things they have been up to but are also happy to talk through any concerns or relay specific developments at pick-up every day. All staff at Pennypot have also been incredibly vigilant at dealing with my son's extensive allergies and they go above and beyond to ensure his daily environment is the safest it can be. Transitions between rooms are managed carefully and sensitively and in the preschool room, they pay particular attention to school readiness- including putting on an information evening for parents and offering great suggestions for activities and resources to help with this. I cannot recommend Pennypot enough - it really is a fantastic childcare setting!

Our daughter has been in the caterpillar room now for 4 months, the staff have been amazing in helping her settle in so fast and bringing out her personality. She has multiple food allergies which have been managed so well. Her key workers are amazing and she has formed such a good bond with them. The app updates keep us informed throughout the day. I honestly can't recommend Pennypot highly enough.

There is always such a caring feeling of family there as even staff who haven't worked in her room know her name. It is really great to get updates and photos through to the app as reassurance and a bit of a glimpse into what she is up to and feel more connected to her during the day. They take the time to tell me what she's been up to every day when I pick her up. We have seen a big development in her and great to have a clear site of development they are working on. And we have had some very thoughtful weekly and monthly updates, which they obviously spend time writing up. The rooms and outdoor space is fabulous.

Our son is always happy to go in the morning so we know he is very well cared for which is all we can wish for!

I could not be happier with our nursery choice for our son. He started at Pennypot when he was eight months old and the all staff in the Caterpillar Room were so kind and caring to make sure he settled in. I have been very impressed by his key person, who ensures his developmental journey is on track and updates us regularly in person and via the app.

Our son has progressed and learnt so many new skills since starting at Pennypot and I'm confident this is down to their safe and nurturing environment and the educational stimulation and learning through play they provide for all the children. He just thoroughly loves being there!

I look forward to watching our son's journey continue at Pennypot as he grows up.

We've now been at Pennypot for almost six months and we're delighted with the quality of care and dedication to the children. The staff are incredible and they make a genuine effort to update, remembering everyone's names and subtle nuances. Our daughter's key person who has sadly now moved on was amazing at helping her settle and it was evident that she genuinely cared about our daughter. We now have a new, and equally as wonderful dedicated key person and she's been amazing at helping our daughter continue to thrive. They have been beyond accommodating with our daughter's dietary requirements too, which is a godsend.

I have been extremely impressed with Pennypot Nursery from the start of my journey when looking for a nursery while pregnant, through to our child just completing their first four months at Pennypot. Due to work commitments, our child started Pennypot at six months of age, full-time Monday - Friday from July 2022. This was an adjustment for all particularly being a new mum. However, Pennypot have been amazing in supporting with this transition. The Caterpillar room is wonderful for babies, and I love that they have a separate sleep room. The team are really informative, and the app is super useful with all the updates on sleep, mealtimes and child development. The team have helped us with weaning and our little girl is super happy at nursery, there is so much for them to do and explore. It really puts my mind at ease and was the best decision I made.

Since starting nursery, our son has thrived and massively developed. We were worried to start with as we started nursery at 10 months, however, our key person has been fantastic. The staff is absolutely phenomenal and we have been very much impressed with the care. We are in the Caterpillar room for babies. Updates are great, they have an app and provide updates for your child during the day. Their updates are great when you do pick them up, they update you on their sleep, eating, milk, etc. Overall we highly recommend the nursery, they do genuinely care. There are small things that do make a difference like all their staff knowing all kid's and parent's names.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. All the staff are warm, kind and genuinely care about each child's individual needs. My son settled so quickly and I'm always happy to know he is in their care.

We would 100000000% recommend Pennypot Day Nursery. Our daughter is in the Caterpillar room (babies). The team in that room are fantastic - you can tell they really care about her and are so passionate about what they do. They give brilliant updates when you go to collect them. They also give great updates throughout the day so you know how much they are sleeping/eating etc. as well as weekly and monthly in depth updates on their progress. It’s lovely to drop her off knowing how much she loves it there, and we could never replicate the same experiences at home. We have zero concerns or complaints and would definitely recommend.

We absolutely love Pennypot Day Nursery! Leaving your baby to go to work is very difficult, but knowing that our little guy is happy, cared for, and exposed to fantastic learning opportunities throughout his days makes it a lot easier! The staff is friendly, reliable, collaborative, and informative and they treat our little guy with nothing but love and respect. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nurseries and we are excited to see our little guy flourish there over the next 4 years.

He has come on leaps and bounds since joining Penny Pot, and also loves the food. It’s really nice to see all the things he gets up to via the app, lots of messy play!

We couldn’t be happier with Pennypot and my son has been very happy there since day 1. The staff really spend the time to get to know the children and help them develop with new experiences. We are very lucky to have a nursery of this quality in the area!

We viewed a handful of nurseries, but on stepping foot in Pennypot, we knew it was the one for our son. The staff were friendly and approachable and had good knowledge of their workplace. There is clearly a good leadership presence within the nursery with the manager clearly visible and taking time to learn not only all the children’s names, but the parents too. The nursery business administrator is welcoming and communicates in an impeccable manner and has helped with all our queries in a timely manner. Parting with your child is never easy, but Pennypot made the process seamless and put us anxious parents at ease! Our son has thrived since joining the nursery and has built some very special bonds with not only his key workers, but the other staff that work within the room. We have loved reading the weekly updates to see how the staff are not only looking after our son in a kind and caring manner, but how they are working with him to develop and reach milestones. Thank you all!

Great nursery for our son and highly recommended! He has really settled in here and enjoys going. The staff are all really lovely and friendly and helped us feel relaxed about leaving him there. The communication from the staff is very thorough and you always feel like you are up to date. It's got great facilities and the outdoor space is much better than a lot of other local nurseries. Highly recommended.

My daughter is very attached to me so I wanted to take her to a nursery where she would thrive and be more independent.

I had both of my children at the nursery (the eldest at school now) and can strongly recommend.

The nursery itself is nice with a lovely garden where children are free to go whenever they like.

The staff is caring and really focus on the child development and wellbeing.

Every parent’s question/doubt is always addressed in a timely and polite manner

Our son started day nursery at Pennypot Day Nursery at the end of 2021 when he was 10 months old and I had to return to work. Previously he had not been left with anyone without a parent present and so it was a bit of an adjustment for both him and us. I couldn't be happier with Pennypot. All the staff took an interest in our son and seem genuinely happy to see him each day. He soon found his feet and loves to spend his days there now. His key carers have taken the time to understand his interests and create tailor-made activities just for him which is lovely to see.

Despite having a busy room of children, I always feel like my son is receiving the attention he wants and is being cared for as well as if I were there myself. I love the updates I get using the Nursery App, I still feel connected with my son's day despite not being there. I very much appreciate the flexibility and adaptability of the staff. Can't recommend it more highly.

Newly immigrated and just finding our feet in a new community, we were very nervous to send our 2-year old son to nursery for the first time. Covid and the constant self-isolation imposed by the pandemic had made him quite shy and introverted.

His placement at Pennypot Day Nursery was a godsend – they really helped him blossom with his development and he has come out of his shell so much! The key care people assigned to him have been amazing, as were the broader team in the Bumblebee room along with all of the support staff.

We highly recommended Pennypot Day Nursery and are immensely thankful to the staff for the care they took of our little boy.
