A wonderful and nurturing nursery

Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool, offers a bright and airy nursery located in the beautiful village of Frimley Green and provides a lovely community home from home feel for all their families. The nursery provides care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years and all the staff are highly trained and experienced in the Early Years Sector. Early drop off and late pick up times are available when pre-booked.

Located off the B3411 not far from the A331 Blackwater Valley route, the nursery offers good links to the M3 and local train stations including Farnborough Main Station.

Situated in a recently refurbished nursery with bright and airy rooms, a designated Art Studio and a fantastic outdoor environment, including a separate Under 2’s garden, a veranda so children can learn and play in all weathers, and the nursery run a Gardening Club.

The children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through a unique Ready for School Programme, which includes Bright Horizons bespoke Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians programmes.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies, wipes and sun cream included.

Fantastic nursery, the team go above and beyond to care. The nursery doesn’t have a franchise feel, very individual which we love about the nursery. The manager runs a professional establishment to a high standard.

We would highly recommend this nursery. Our daughter has been attending for almost 6 months and it has been absolutely wonderful. The staff are so friendly, caring and professional. The children's activities seem very organised and stimulating. Mealtimes are varied, balanced and nutritious. They have
always been happy to give detailed feedback about how my daughter is settling in, and now with the new app, it's easy to see her eating, naps, nappies, activities etc. Being able to see regular photos of her at the nursery has been wonderful too. Due to the pandemic, I was very worried about her starting nursery, mostly from the socialising aspect... but the nursery has been so wonderful and my daughter seems really happy there. Such a fantastic place and we feel so lucky that she has a place there.

The best decision we made for our daughter to start here. As a nursery, they’ve helped her come on leaps and bounds. From starting in the squirrel's room to preschool she’s had a great bond with all the staff team and we are extremely happy with them all. If we had our time again I would start her sooner
than we did. We would highly recommend this nursery without a doubt.

We have been using Bright Horizons Frimley Green continuously for 4 and a half years now and have always been incredibly impressed. The staff bond so well with the children and really foster a caring and nurturing environment. The other benefit we've recently noticed is how well they prepare children
for school. Our oldest started school last September and it's amazing how much of the reception syllabus she is already familiar with due to the good foundations to learning laid at nursery. We can't recommend Bright Horizons Frimley Green highly enough!

Frimley Green has done so well at trying to protect our children from the risk of covid whilst at nursery for such a long time. Even though unfortunately children are now having to isolate due to positive cases within the nursery, Frimley Green continue to try their hardest to limit this as best as
possible and provide support and answer any questions parents may have.

My son has attended Frimley Green for the last two years, but we have just moved and so have taken the difficult decision to move him to a closer nursery. If it wasn't for the fact that more children from the new nursery are likely to go to the same infant school, we would have absolutely stayed at
Frimley Green and I'm very sad to have left! The staff are all fantastic and the nursery environment is just lovely - my husband actually went here so we have a family connection! The inside is bright, very clean, spacious and lovely and cool in summer. The outside space is ideal and our little boy always told us about the fun to be had outside with so many different activities and games. The menu is varied and I know he probably eats better on nursery days! There are lots of personal touches from the team that make this nursery truly special and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. We will miss it greatly!

Our daughter loves attending nursery.
The nursery have been amazing and especially through COVID 19 they really are pulling out all the stops to keep Christmas alive and the spirits of the children up through an uncertain time.
My daughter loves Eric the Elf and it’s so nice to see the use of social
media for all the wonderful things the children get up to.
She has very much enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and Christmas jumper day. She often sings and dances at home to the songs from preschool.
She very much loves playing with her friends and talks so fondly about her friends and teachers.
A massive thank you to all the teachers at preschool. Such a lovely friendly team.

The nursery is fantastic with staff who are always looking to enrich the childrens' experience. This month they've grown butterflies from eggs, built dens and acted out stories with puppets. My son can't wait to go to 'school' each day.

This nursery is amazing. My eldest son has been attending for 2 years, now going to the preschool and my youngest so will start in a few months' time. The staff are professional, competent and so lovely. It makes going to work so much easier knowing the boys are someplace they love and where they are

The staff at the nursery always make my daughter feel welcome and help to settle her each morning. I like hearing about the different activities they do each day and good feedback is given to inform parents about their child's day. My daughter is always talking about her friends and the things she has

Both my children have attended this setting since I first returned to work in 2017, my eldest is now in the pre-school. I have always found the carers and staff at the nursery to be unfailingly lovely and committed to ensuring my children are happy and well looked after in their care. The various rooms
for different stages of the children's development are clean, well-kept and well-equipped and the transition between these rooms is always well managed.
The nursery seems to be constantly being upgraded with a complete re-decoration both internally and externally having taken place in the last three years. The resources available to the children are often replaced and there always seems to be something interesting going on, especially in the pre-school.
The food is cooked on-site by a chef who has never failed to accommodate my daughters complex allergies. It's an amazingly varied menu that seems to always cater to children's tastes while supporting my desire for a balanced diet.

My little girl settled so quickly into pre-school. The staff were all welcoming and she instantly loved them all. Her learning development has come on in leaps and bounds and she loves her Spanish classes and cooking club. She is always happy going in and I always know she will have a great day.

My son really enjoys his time at the nursery. I find he's experienced a great variety of activities and the team are aware of his strengths and weaknesses. Most of the requests I ask for are put into place within a couple of weeks. The feedback I get is always very specific to him and the team are very
open to questions. My main feedback would be to have written and photographic feedback sent to me. Other nurseries I've seen have an app for this.

My daughter has settled really well into nursery and talks a lot about it at home. She has been sent home with pictures of her day which is lovely for me to see her enjoying herself away from me. My name is Lynsey and I am the Nursery Manager for Nursery on the Green and Preschool. I have been working in the childcare industry since 1996. I have been working at Nursery on the Green since 2001. I joined in December 2000 as a Room Leader during my time at the nursery I have worked across all age groups from the babies right through to the Preschool group. In 2013, I was promoted to Nursery Manager and am striving to create a relaxed home-from-home feel here at the nursery. I love working at the nursery and find every day so rewarding. I am passionate about providing first-class childcare and delivering the best educational standards to provide all the children in the nursery the best start in life.

I have worked at Nursery on the Green since 2008, whilst I completed my degree in BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies.


After completing my qualifications I was promoted to Preschool Principal and ran the Preschool room. In 2013, I was promoted to Deputy Nursery Manager.


I really enjoy working within the nursery and ensuring the children receive excellent care and attention at the nursery as well as making learning lots of fun. At Nursery on the Green, we aspire to give each child the best possible start in life and progress and development throughout their time at the nursery.
