A wonderful and nurturing nursery

Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool, offers a bright and airy nursery located in the beautiful village of Frimley Green and provides a lovely community home from home feel for all their families. The nursery provides care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years and all the staff are highly trained and experienced in the Early Years Sector. Early drop off and late pick up times are available when pre-booked.

Located off the B3411 not far from the A331 Blackwater Valley route, the nursery offers good links to the M3 and local train stations including Farnborough Main Station.

Situated in a recently refurbished nursery with bright and airy rooms, a designated Art Studio and a fantastic outdoor environment, including a separate Under 2’s garden, a veranda so children can learn and play in all weathers, and the nursery run a Gardening Club.

The children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through a unique Ready for School Programme, which includes Bright Horizons bespoke Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians programmes.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies, wipes and sun cream included.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Bright Horizons. My little boy has been attending 2 mornings a week for a few weeks now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so friendly and warm and my son adores them, especially his key person, who he has formed such a beautiful bond with. I feel so
grateful to have such a happy, safe and loving environment for my baby boy to grow and learn. I love hearing all about his day and receiving updates via the app.

We have been a part of the nursery family for 12 years and our fourth child has just started. It just shows what a lovely, happy environment it is based on the number of staff who have worked there for many years. The personalised care, the variety of activities, lots of outdoor activities and tasty
food all contribute to a wonderful overall experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Frimley Green Day Nursery.

My daughter has grown from a shy to a confident and happy kid at this nursery. Her key worker and other staff have always listened to any concern that we have about her development and taken concrete steps to address them. Special thanks to four staff members in particular, for your brilliant work!
I can't be happier about my daughter's development, both intellectually and emotionally and I'm glad that she still has one more year to go at the nursery.

My son went down to the preschool room and they were so accommodating and helped him with the transitions from the previous room. Settle in days and frequent visits, so he was used to the room. He runs in now and loves it.

Staffing issues are a slight concern and the breakfast menu could be more diverse. Other than that we love the nursery so far, we joined November 2022. Our son also enjoys going five days a week. We feel like the curriculum is more there than his previous nursery, so we're very satisfied. I don't often
say this, but our £1,700 we spend monthly for him to attend is well worth it, we reckon.

Reliable and friendly. Always make an effort to make you and your child feel welcome.
My child looks forward to going to preschool each day. He has made a number of friends and genuinely enjoys their company. The nursery offers a range of activities from which he has learnt a number of life skills.

Our daughter has been going to the nursery since Sept 2022. As she only goes once a week we were dreading her settling in but due to the staff being fantastic, she settled quickly without many tears. She loves the staff and I feel confident leaving her as I know she is well looked after. The nursery
app is a big plus as well.

My son has been with Bright Horizons Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool for the past two years and we have had a great experience.
The staff are lovely and are very kind and supportive. Nursery has really helped my son's speech development which was very delayed due to the pandemic
We are sad
to be leaving for big school in September but he has had a great foundation in early years education at Bright Horizons.

We feel so safe leaving our daughter with the team at Bright Horizons Frimely. They genuinely care for her and you can see how much she loves her time there.


The team always ask for a handover in how she is doing when we drop her off and are great providing us with how she has got on that day.

The team in preschool are fab! My little girl always goes in and leaves happy, she adores the team in the room and I feel confident knowing that my little one is going to have a great day! She is coming along so nicely with her phonics and writing which is all down to the team in preschool!

The staff here are really willing to go above and beyond to support the speech, language and social development of our son. They always take the time to provide a detailed description of his activities during the day and answer our questions. We enjoy the observations feature of the app which allows
us as parents to identify new achievements at nursery and share his recent progress at home. This in turn helps us build on similar areas at home in parallel with the nursery team.

My daughter has loved going to Bright Horizons Frimley since she was 11 months old, and now she is in her final year before heading off to school. I have no worries about her going as she loves to learn, and I put that down to all the team and the fantastic work they do, all leading up to the big school
move. She will be leaving a well-rounded, good-mannered and confident little girl.
There have obviously been a few issues but only small, and when mentioned, they have been addressed quickly and professionally.
There have been some staffing issues, but I have felt like the management team has dealt with this in the best way they can and feel they do all they can to support us as a family even when cancelling places which has not happened since January as they have got new staff starting who are also lovely.
If you're looking for a nursery that is like a home from home, this is definitely the one for you.

Lovely preschool, my son has been going there since he was 1 year old. The staff are helpful and so friendly. The outdoor space is fantastic. The food supplied is a great variety, and very often he asks for seconds. Which is unusual for him.

We have been at this nursery for years now and all our kids thrive there and love going. Wonderful staff that go above and beyond, and very caring and the kids have wonderful bonds with their teachers. We are also impressed by their menu and the kids eat well! Very happy!

My name is Lynsey and I am the Nursery Manager for Nursery on the Green and Preschool. I have been working in the childcare industry since 1996. I have been working at Nursery on the Green since 2001. I joined in December 2000 as a Room Leader during my time at the nursery I have worked across all age groups from the babies right through to the Preschool group. In 2013, I was promoted to Nursery Manager and am striving to create a relaxed home-from-home feel here at the nursery. I love working at the nursery and find every day so rewarding. I am passionate about providing first-class childcare and delivering the best educational standards to provide all the children in the nursery the best start in life.

I have worked at Nursery on the Green since 2008, whilst I completed my degree in BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies.


After completing my qualifications I was promoted to Preschool Principal and ran the Preschool room. In 2013, I was promoted to Deputy Nursery Manager.


I really enjoy working within the nursery and ensuring the children receive excellent care and attention at the nursery as well as making learning lots of fun. At Nursery on the Green, we aspire to give each child the best possible start in life and progress and development throughout their time at the nursery.
