A wonderful and nurturing nursery

Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool, offers a bright and airy nursery located in the beautiful village of Frimley Green and provides a lovely community home from home feel for all their families. The nursery provides care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years and all the staff are highly trained and experienced in the Early Years Sector. Early drop off and late pick up times are available when pre-booked.

Located off the B3411 not far from the A331 Blackwater Valley route, the nursery offers good links to the M3 and local train stations including Farnborough Main Station.

Situated in a recently refurbished nursery with bright and airy rooms, a designated Art Studio and a fantastic outdoor environment, including a separate Under 2’s garden, a veranda so children can learn and play in all weathers, and the nursery run a Gardening Club.

The children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through a unique Ready for School Programme, which includes Bright Horizons bespoke Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians programmes.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies, wipes and sun cream included.

We moved our son from another nursery as we were unhappy with the care being received and we can honestly say it's the best decision by far. The Bright Horizons Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool team are wonderful and our little one is flourishing.
He was in the under 2s room for his first two
months and struggled at first however the patience of the staff paid off and he was soon happy to walk in himself.
He is now up in the toddlers room and we have really noticed a change in him with his speech, eating and confidence.
The outdoor space is fantastic, the activities seem to vary - even taking the children to a local care home.

Bright Horizons Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool under 2s staff are great, they really helped our boy to settle into the nursery in the beginning and they teach new things every day and we notice that significant difference daily.

I was so worried about sending my little girl to nursery but all the team made me feel so at ease. They are kind and understanding. We have already noticed such a change in our little girl, she smiles every morning when we drop her off (making going to work so much easier).
Everyone in the under 2's
room has been amazing and we are so happy that we chose this nursery for our 1-year-old to learn, play and develop. They keep us updated throughout the day and nothing is ever too much trouble.

We moved our little girl to this nursery in September 2023 as we were unhappy with how her old nursery was dealing with her speech delay. The progress she has made since starting at Bright Horizons is incredible. The team are dedicated to helping her meet her speech therapy targets and it really shows.
Our daughter is also very happy there, having a blast every day with her friends. My only regret is that I didn’t send her here to begin with! I’m really impressed and would highly recommend this nursery.

Bright Horizons Frimley Green Day Nursery and Preschool has been so amazing and accommodating! My daughter has Down’s syndrome and therefore has more complex needs and the nursery staff always ensure her needs are met and make us, as parents, feel so at ease and we know our daughter really enjoys all

Extremely pleased with this nursery, having previously been let down by alternative provider. Very thorough updates on the app and the staff members are all very friendly and attentive. Our son has bonded well with his key person and we find him playing happily when we arrive to pick him up! Also, have
to highlight how efficient the management team have been when organising a place for our little one. Excellent, timely communication and very empathetic and helpful as we needed to find a nursery as soon as possible due to circumstances. Couldn’t be happier!

Our daughter took a while to settle in but she absolutely loves going to nursery now! It has been three months and we have seen her grow so much in that time - she is trying to speak more and her understanding has improved so much. Couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery.

My son has been in this nursery for over two months, and I have no concerns so far. The staff are very friendly, and my son feels very comfortable around them. My son's key person is very caring and has a true passion for working with children. My son built a special bond with him, and this helped us
immeasurably when he was settling in.
There are always lots of great activities happening in the nursery each day, and I get frequent updates about what my son is doing through the nursery mobile app.
My son's development sped up greatly since he started attending nursery, and I can definitely tell he is happy there.
I would recommend Bright Horizons Frimley Green Nursery to any parents who are looking for great, reliable childcare.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at Bright Horizons Frimley Green. We were so nervous about our daughter starting nursery but the professional and welcoming team made it so much easier for us. It’s clear that they take pride in the work they do and the team in the Under 2s room have taken
amazing care of our little one. She loves going in every day and the photos we get sent show she’s having an absolutely amazing time. Her language has come on brilliantly and the staff clearly genuinely care about her. I’m so glad we picked this nursery.

Such a lovely nursery and very caring staff. Between my daughter and son, we have experience in all three rooms. Both my children have loved their time in each. Communication with parents is excellent. I always felt reassured that the kids had had a nice time and been looked after really well.

My son has attended this nursery for almost a year. He continues to thrive every week and I have seen such a positive change in him. His vocabulary is really coming on and I am so proud of him.
Staff are very welcoming and friendly and take time at the end of each day to give feedback about my son's
day.
The menu is varied and the nursery has an on-site chef who is passionate about the food he prepares and a lot of the menu is homemade. The nursery has their own fruit and vegetable patch and the children help with planting, nurturing and picking the food when it’s ready. It’s a wonderful thing to do with the children and I think it helps fussy eaters!
I would highly recommend this nursery to others and if I have anymore children I will be sending them here.

I'm really happy with the settling-in process and how easy it is to talk to management to sort issues like registration and payment out. Communication with parents is good; we get regular updates throughout the day. My daughter comes home from nursery happy. The staff seemed very focused on the children,
and it felt like there were alot of child-led activities throughout the day (food service, setting up activities, etc).

I cannot recommend Nursery on the Green any higher, my first son started with them in 2015 and my youngest “graduated” yesterday - the team put so much effort into graduation and it was a success despite the torrential rain! At Nursery on the Green, they are a wonderful, caring, and kind family-feeling
team - I feel so fortunate to have had full trust in them, always. The manager and all of the room staff make an effort to know all of the children and families personally and individually. Shout out to the four members of staff in preschool who go above and beyond to make the days for the children awesome and post lots of content on the app! We will miss you all so much! Also to the hidden star in the kitchen.

Oscar started in May and was very nervous and unsettled by the experience, however all the staff worked to make him feel happy and comfortable! He now runs in and just loves going there! He’s starting to enjoy the food too!
The updates have got more frequent in the app which is also really nice to
read when you can! Lots of lovely photos.
I also like that the nursery let you know when they have extra available dates, as this can really useful for emergencies!
Really happy with the nursery and team so far!

This is a fantastic nursery!
My son has been there for 2 months now and we can already see a positive change in him.
The staff have been great at accommodating his dietary needs and always update me at the end of the day, as to how he has been. It is great to see what he has been up to, during the

The nursery setting is wonderful and there are many recourses, the staff are caring and nurturing and my little one has developed a positive relationship with his key person who is exceptional with him. As a parent, I would like more pictures of my child during his time at nursery and more regular communication
via updates on the app of his learning and activities so these can be carried into home life and reflection of his day.
Overall it is a fantastic nursery and my little one enjoys going there.

My name is Lynsey and I am the Nursery Manager for Nursery on the Green and Preschool. I have been working in the childcare industry since 1996. I have been working at Nursery on the Green since 2001. I joined in December 2000 as a Room Leader during my time at the nursery I have worked across all age groups from the babies right through to the Preschool group. In 2013, I was promoted to Nursery Manager and am striving to create a relaxed home-from-home feel here at the nursery. I love working at the nursery and find every day so rewarding. I am passionate about providing first-class childcare and delivering the best educational standards to provide all the children in the nursery the best start in life.

I have worked at Nursery on the Green since 2008, whilst I completed my degree in BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies.


After completing my qualifications I was promoted to Preschool Principal and ran the Preschool room. In 2013, I was promoted to Deputy Nursery Manager.


I really enjoy working within the nursery and ensuring the children receive excellent care and attention at the nursery as well as making learning lots of fun.
