N Family Club - Ockham

Our daughter has had the most wonderful time at Red Balloon in Ockham. The staff are fantastic and thoroughly engaged with the children. The nursery is a lovely, welcoming and friendly environment where we felt our daughter's individual interests and personality was encouraged and enhanced through a range of activities and play. I would thoroughly recommend Red Balloon Ockham and we will be very sad to move on.

Our two girls are currently in the Nest and Stables and they both love going to nursery and have since their first day at Red Balloon! All of the staff are so friendly, welcoming and both girls have thrived and developed so much since attending Red Balloon in Ockham. We would thoroughly recommend it!

My daughter joined Red Balloon in August and we have been very impressed with the whole team there. They take the time to get to know your child and are committed to helping the children in their development. Each time we pull into the nursery, my little girl cheers ‘yay’ and happily walks in with one of the ladies in the Dairy classroom. She comes out very happy when I come to pick her up and one of the ladies always lets me know what they’ve been doing throughout the day. When we joined Red Balloon, my daughter was only 19 months and I worried that it was too early for her to start nursery but I’m so happy I sent her as her socialising and eating has massively improved. I couldn’t have chosen a more friendly and professional nursery.

Our second child is currently in the "Dairy" class at Red Balloon Ockham. Before he started, we did look round other new local nurseries, but we decided to travel a bit further and stick with what we knew as our older daughter had a great experience there. We have not been disappointed as Red Balloon Ockham continues to be a fantastic nursery. We have been really impressed with the way the nursery handled the return to the nursery after the Covid-19 lockdown. There are excellent measures in place and communication is very good. They worked hard to settle the children back in on their return and also when they moved up to new rooms. Red Balloon offers lots of little extras like a lovely nativity, sports day and graduation. While these haven't been possible this year, they have offered safe alternatives. The staff are all so lovely and approachable and really get to know your child, including the managers.

The moment we stepped through the doors of Red Balloon Ockham, we knew this was the place we wanted our son to attend. The setting is lovely with such amazing outdoor space for children to explore and play. Our son settled in really quickly and always appears one happy little boy when we pick him up. Daily activities always seem varied and fun, and the food menu always looks great! And not to forget the amazing staff at Red Ballon which makes my son's nursery experience what it should be! They are so welcoming, attentive and caring. I can’t speak highly enough about what they do in terms of reassuring new parents, communicating with parents and simply making it such a wonderful place for children to be and develop. One of the things I love is the personal online tapestry tool which staff update regularly. It is so lovely to see pictures of what your child has been doing during the day, something my husband and I always look forward to seeing! Highly recommend Red Balloon Ockham!

My daughter has recently started at Red Balloon Ockham post the Covid lockdown period and I honestly could not be happier with the Nursery. From the first email correspondences, then our first face to face meeting and every day since, the staff have been nothing short of amazing. They are all so welcoming and friendly, caring and approachable despite all the changes they are continuously dealing with. They keep updated and are very clear in their advice and guidance and you can tell they are always putting the children and parents first. Most importantly our daughter loves every minute of days, much more fun than lockdown with mum and dad and even on weekend she is counting down the sleep till she has 'school' again, we try not to take it personally. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending this nursery, it is all-round outstanding and a pleasure to be part of the community.

Our Daughter joined Red Balloon in July 2019, aged 3. Our only regret is that we didn’t move her there sooner! Since moving to Red Balloon our little girl has blossomed in confidence and is so very happy. She very quickly adapted, which was absolutely partly down to the amazing team there who were professional, empathic and understanding from the first email inquiring about a space. The setting have been incredible during this pandemic - they have communicated excellently, worked in partnerships with families to do best by each individual child, been flexible and understanding, staff have kindly read bedtime stories via video and sent resources for home. Our daughter returned last week after almost 12weeks away, and she was welcomed back, nurtured and reassured and has settled back in brilliantly. The team are excellent early years educators, fantastic understanding of child development and working with an individual child’s needs and interests. Thank you, team Ockham!

We have been so impressed by the nursery's efforts to put COVID -19 measures in place and their strong and clear communication that we have been able to send our daughter back with no hesitation. Our daughter is extremely happy at Red Balloon; they provide a loving and nurturing environment with a huge range of diverse and creative activities to stimulate and entertain the children. My daughter has lots of fun in an environment that feels safe and we feel confident when we drop her off each morning that she'll have a great day with the lovely and caring staff.

My son has been attending this nursery for over a year. He settled in with no trouble at all at 11 months which I think is in large part down to Red Balloon, their atmosphere and how they welcome new children. He has since transitioned to a new room, and again the settling process was seamless. I feel the nursery has really contributed to my son’s development in a number of areas and they always discuss with you what areas they are working on, what you can do at home, and how he is getting on in detail too. Highly recommend Red Balloon to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

We have been so happy with Red Balloon from the moment our daughter started a year ago. From our first visit, we could see that our daughter would be joining a very welcoming, happy little community. It is a nerve-wracking time when your baby first starts nursery but we could not have had a smoother experience. All of the staff are exceptionally friendly and they go above and beyond to ensure that the children are safe, happy and well looked after. Our routines are supported which means that our daughter finds it easy to transition from home to nursery and we are well-informed through regular reporting of her progress in how she is learning - it is great to see what they are focusing on so that we have ideas of how we can support at home too. The rooms are wonderful learning environments and the outside facilities are excellent. Truly outstanding care and service provided, thank you.

This is a very professionally run business with great teachers and a beautiful facility.

Whilst my child has been in nest, the girls have been great and patient whilst trying to get her to settle. I know she is safe and looked after whilst in their care. The room has great opportunities for her to explore and learn.

This is the best nursery in the area. All the teachers are fantastic and so friendly, they are brilliant at settling in the children and all grow close bonds with each child. It is the perfect place to prepare your little one for big-school, actually putting them one step ahead, which helps with their confidence immensely! They provide a wide range of activities and clubs and make learning fun and engaging. They have a fabulous outdoor playground which has recently been refurbished with plenty to do all year round. I highly recommend this nursery.

They are so encouraging and caring. My little boy loves his time at the nursery and all the opportunities and kindness he receives.

The nursery offers quality throughout, from the outstanding staff in every room to the learning resources provided both indoors and outdoors. The children are able to learn in a fun and interactive way. The staff promote a welcoming and friendly environment and it's clear all the children feel secure and content. From joining Red Balloon, the staff have been dedicated to developing my daughter, emotionally, socially and academically and it’s wonderful to see how she has progressed and how confident she has grown. She loves going to the nursery and adores all the staff. My youngest daughter has recently joined and the staff in her room have been amazing in comforting and supporting her in this big transition. I am confident she will also thrive in the setting. I would highly recommend the nursery!

I’ve been impressed with Red Balloon from the moment we were given our tour. It’s clear everyone takes great pride in the high standard of care provided which was key for me as a first-time parent. The staff are always very warm and friendly and my daughter is always greeted with a big hug. In each room my daughter has attended, the team have gone over and above to get to know us and my daughter and I love hearing all they’ve been up to to keep the children entertained whilst in support of their development. The nursery environment is also superb with wonderful open spaces and ever-changing children made decorations in the rooms that relate to the topics they’re learning about. Overall I couldn’t imagine our daughter being anywhere else.

Since joining Red Balloon my son has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are amazing with him and I can't thank them enough for all their patience, enthusiasm and love they have shown him.

Our daughter started at the beginning of the year and from the first day has loved it. We are well informed, they do wonderful activities and provide such personalised care. From forest school to dancing to “mother’s day teas”. The staff get to know each child’s personality and help them grow the right way for them. I could not recommend it enough.
