N Family Club – Ockham is located in an idyllic countryside spot on the beautiful grounds of Pound Farm. The nursery itself is set within a converted barn and stable and was freshly redecorated in 2021. Surrounded by farmland, the nursery is filled with character while equally purpose-built to support every element of the early years curriculum. Playrooms are filled with natural light. Outside, large gardens come complete with a climbing structure, slide and race track, and provide the perfect setting for children to explore during regular Forest School-inspired sessions. There is also a large car park to help make pick-ups and drop-offs as easy as possible.

Meals are nutritionist-designed and prepared fresh onsite by in-house chefs. And as an N parent, each month you'll be invited to their Family Club talks: a programme of online events led by experts in the early years. The standard day is 8am – 6pm, with an option to extend this by half an hour to ensure flexibility for families.

We have two boys there, the older has been there for two years, the younger for just over one. Both love it. The staff genuinely care about the children's development and the facilities are fantastic, both indoors and out. The N Family app is a great way to communicate, with live updates and daily pictures.

We are delighted with our choice of N Family Ockham, and have been heartened by the kind, nurturing care of our little boy. He is immersed in play and activities that are so creative and well thought out, and I am always amazed that the team have so many different ones up their sleeve. We love that

All of the nursery carers are brilliantly creative, kind, and supportive. The variety of activities they do is first class and we can see how much our daughters have developed from this. The food choices are also great. Very nutritional and has a wide variety.

Our eldest has been at N Family Ockham since March 2023 and our youngest started in Jan 2024. Both love all the staff at N Family Ockham. They are all amazingly friendly and supportive when concerns and questions are raised whether it is to do with speech development, potty training, or eating habits.
We are always given a good debrief at the end of each day as well as updates via the app during the day. Great setting on a working farm with horses, and always giving ideas for at-home activities to help with our children’s fine and gross motor skill development! Menus are always varied and healthy, and communication between staff and management is fantastic.

Recently joined N Family Club Okham and we are very content our little boy has settled in and enjoys his time there. The staff are lovely and the curriculum activities are stimulating fun and creative for an 11-month-old.
The app is regularly updated in real-time so we know how he is eating sleeping
and what activities he is immersing himself into. The menu is updated weekly and involves a wide variety of foods.

The team has done an amazing job settling my daughter who has never been keen to be dropped off, but now I know is as happy as Larry 5 minutes after I've left. She's progressed to telling me she's had a 'brilliant day'. She has developed so well with drawing and eating, so much so that we now use the
'help yourself' model at home and she eats more than before! It is never nice leaving your child upset but I know, thanks to all the photos, she is happy and engaging in some fabulous learning topics daily.

Wonderful staff, who create such a fun and loving environment for my two and four-year-old. My kids love going into nursery and their confidence has grown hugely. Every day is different and they are learning new things and skills. The food is varied (although no red meat) which supports my kid's love
of food and trying new tastes. Lovely large garden with great outdoor play equipment.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 1. She is now 4 and is thriving. The staff are fabulous. Extremely caring and take great care in creating a fun and engaging environment for the children. The nursery is a lovely space in a beautiful setting. There is good communication from the team and my child is very happy and loves the team.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. We feel so comfortable leaving our daughter with the wonderful staff. She walks in every day with a smile and often talks about all of her friends she has made there, kids and key workers alike. We are updated regularly throughout the day and always smile at

I am very happy with N Family Ockham. My daughter is very cared for, with kind and lovely staff (who she talks about at home), she eats healthy food and every day that she is there she is given a different activity to help her development, as well as play that she enjoys.

This is a poor review as a result of poor care of our 2-year-old boy in September 2023.
The nursery doesn't respect the sickness policy, sick children are allowed so that attendance can be kept high, the nursery encourages attendance of sick children with non-excludable sickness which makes transmission
of sickness quicker than an airport runaway. Other issues are so trivial that is astonishing how this nursery is outstanding. A hat is required when hot weather comes along or a child is sick in hot weather. The nursery measures UV rays and makes some decisions worthy of academic publication instead of plain simple care that works.
My child was sick famished or vomiting at all times.
The nursery has an outstanding rating that belongs to previous management and one that cannot be justified. We notified Ofsted and it appears a new rating will be provided in due course. It's very difficult to raise issues because there is no formal complaints policy something Ofsted has been made aware of.

My son is so happy here - the staff are wonderful, and they care so much about the children. The app is updated constantly so that we can see all of the brilliant activities he’s doing, as well as how long he’s slept, what he’s eaten, etc. Staff were great in supporting potty training too. Most importantly,
my son is happy, loves going to nursery and is learning so much.

A fantastic nursery with great staff and a wide range of learning techniques and principles including Montessori and Forrest School.
The menus are updated regularly and communicated each week.
The app to track your child through photos and child management works really well.

My two children go to Red Ballon/Nfmly in Ockham. The nursery is incredible, the staff are wonderful and we feel very happy at work knowing our children are having so much fun. The nursery update us on our children's activities which is lovely to see whilst at work.

Our child has attended the nursery in the 'Nest' since September 2021. From the online tour to the settling-in sessions, to now, the staff have been extremely welcoming and we feel like they have really taken the time to get to know our daughter. It is so nice to be able to turn up at the nursery and
see her face light up when she knows where she is. We are always so impressed with the detailed feedback at the end of the day and the photos throughout the day are a lovely touch too! We are very glad to have found this setting!

Positives: the room staff clearly care about the children they are looking after; the nursery is in a lovely semi-rural setting (attached to a working farm); and from the (unfortunately not very frequent) app updates, the children are clearly engaged in a wide variety of stimulating and well thought
through activities.
The primary reason why I will not recommend the nursery concerns their policy of sending children home for the slightest of ailments. As working parents, the reliability of one's childcare provider is critical; sadly Red Balloon are far too keen to send children home with subsequent isolation periods enforced. There is a real feeling that your children are followed around with a temperature gun; the second there is a spike above 37.6 degrees, bang, child home. Slight sniffles? Child home. Cough? Child home. We lost count of how often we were at home with perfectly well children while trying to work, with Red Balloon shamefully hiding behind government Covid advice.

Our two girls are currently in the Nest and Stables and they both love going to nursery and have since their first day at Red Balloon!
