N Family Club - Ockham

My niece is always so well taken care of by the wonderful staff the N-extras are well loved cookery Spanish yoga and the doodle dance add so much joy and happiness to the children who go there I can't not reccomend it highly enough thank you all for taking such good care of my niece .

Every day we say how happy we are with N Ockham after each drop off and pick up. The nursery always seems clean, calm and happy, the staff feel like extended family, the setting is amazing and the staff really care and are always able to give us such a detailed account of our daughters day (and answer any questions we have). They also make sure to check in on how we are doing too and are so understanding and attentive.

They made the settling in process so easy for us and we couldn't be more grateful that our daughter gets to grow and develop in such a lovely, caring environment.

We're so grateful for the wonderful care our son has received at Granary. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, creating a safe and nurturing environment where our child thrives. The activities are engaging and educational, and we love seeing how much he's learned and grown since starting. We highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place where their child will feel loved and supported.

Our little boy has been at N Family Club for a few years and we've seen the nursery go from strength to strength in this time. In particular, our little boy loves the outside space, which is huge, and the new performance stage is a hit! The staff are great - so caring and always give a great report at pick up about what they have been up to and how they have been that day. They really make you feel like they know your kid. It also feels as though a lot of thought and attention go into what they teach the children - whether that is about their emotions, healthy eating, or space exploration.

We love the nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and clearly care a lot about all the children. They made the settling-in process stress-free and nothing is too much trouble. The activities the children do are varied and our daughter loves the yoga. The menu is varied and well-balanced and is a big hit. Updates on the app are detailed and we love getting pictures to see what they’ve been up to each day. We’re so happy with our choice of nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

There are areas management could improve; for example, for us, the settling process could have been planned better and with more time in advance.

The food menu always looks incredible and has definitely helped her to develop a taste for a wider variety of foods. The staff are incredibly friendly, caring and loving. They support our home language (not English) and even learned some words to help support our baby’s learning. This is absolutely incredible and we are beyond grateful.

We have two boys there, the older has been there for two years, the younger for just over one. Both love it. The staff genuinely care about the children's development and the facilities are fantastic, both indoors and out. The N Family app is a great way to communicate, with live updates and daily pictures.

We are delighted with our choice of N Family Ockham, and have been heartened by the kind, nurturing care of our little boy. He is immersed in play and activities that are so creative and well thought out, and I am always amazed that the team have so many different ones up their sleeve. We love that N Family are inclusive and equitable in their approach to learning and culture, and as such our son is learning and exploring topics outside of a very white middle-class catchment area. A big thank you to the team for everything you do.

All of the nursery carers are brilliantly creative, kind, and supportive. The variety of activities they do is first class and we can see how much our daughters have developed from this. The food choices are also great. Very nutritional and has a wide variety.

Our eldest has been at N Family Ockham since March 2023 and our youngest started in Jan 2024. Both love all the staff at N Family Ockham. They are all amazingly friendly and supportive when concerns and questions are raised whether it is to do with speech development, potty training, or eating habits. We are always given a good debrief at the end of each day as well as updates via the app during the day. Great setting on a working farm with horses, and always giving ideas for at-home activities to help with our children’s fine and gross motor skill development! Menus are always varied and healthy, and communication between staff and management is fantastic.

The app is regularly updated in real-time so we know how he is eating sleeping and what activities he is immersing himself into. The menu is updated weekly and involves a wide variety of foods.

The team has done an amazing job settling my daughter who has never been keen to be dropped off, but now I know is as happy as Larry 5 minutes after I've left. She's progressed to telling me she's had a 'brilliant day'. She has developed so well with drawing and eating, so much so that we now use the 'help yourself' model at home and she eats more than before! It is never nice leaving your child upset but I know, thanks to all the photos, she is happy and engaging in some fabulous learning topics daily.

Wonderful staff, who create such a fun and loving environment for my two and four-year-old. My kids love going into nursery and their confidence has grown hugely. Every day is different and they are learning new things and skills. The food is varied (although no red meat) which supports my kid's love of food and trying new tastes. Lovely large garden with great outdoor play equipment.

N Family Ockham has been amazing with our daughter, always has lots of fun activities and she has a blast every day. Her speech has come on so well! We love the regular updates via the app, knowing she’s having a great time while we’re at work. Thank you to everyone in the Granary Room.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 1. She is now 4 and is thriving. It’s a pleasure to see her confidence grow under the guidance of her caregivers and she looks forward to going to nursery each time to see what they’ll be doing that day. The well-being, learning, and development of the children is at the heart of everything and they very much work with you to determine areas to work on.

The staff are fabulous. Extremely caring and take great care in creating a fun and engaging environment for the children. The nursery is a lovely space in a beautiful setting. There is good communication from the team and my child is very happy and loves the team.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. We feel so comfortable leaving our daughter with the wonderful staff. She walks in every day with a smile and often talks about all of her friends she has made there, kids and key workers alike. We are updated regularly throughout the day and always smile at the wonderful photographs.

I am very happy with N Family Ockham. My daughter is very cared for, with kind and lovely staff (who she talks about at home), she eats healthy food and every day that she is there she is given a different activity to help her development, as well as play that she enjoys.

The nursery has an outstanding rating that belongs to previous management and one that cannot be justified. We notified Ofsted and it appears a new rating will be provided in due course. It's very difficult to raise issues because there is no formal complaints policy something Ofsted has been made aware of.
