Bright Horizons Epsom Waltham House Day Nursery and Preschool

The Bright Horizons family is a very warm and inviting one. Their environment and staff are friendly and welcoming, which was the push for my choosing them as a school for my daughter. Since being there, she has been excelling and developing very quickly. She is happy to be in school and happy with her teachers.

All in all, I am extremely happy with the level of service from Bright Horizons, Epsom and wouldn't hesitate to send my youngest son there when the time comes, or recommend it to any family/friends.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough! Wonderful, caring staff who have nurtured two of our boys and are about to have the 3rd. The kids love it and I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing nursery that I know look after my kids like they were their own.

All three of my children have attended Bright Horizon from 9 months old and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are all wonderful, kind and you can just tell that they care about the children. The children love their key workers but as the staff turnover is low they know everyone, which makes for a lovely atmosphere as everyone knows all the children’s names and make them feel welcome. I don’t know what I would do without the nursery- thank you!

My son has loved this nursery from day one. He has been going to the nursery from 10 months old and is now 2.5 years old and still loves it. He has formed a wonderful bond with his carers and friendships with the other children. He has flourished throughout his time there, his development has been supported massively by the contribution from the Bright Horizons team. The carers are very warm, caring and personable with regular communication throughout the day and constant activities to support with learning and development -cooking lessons, yoga, science classes, art etc. The garden area is also brilliant, lots of space and activities. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My review relates to the 'Nursery' room (up to 3 years old). While I recognise the comparatively high price of this nursery, I have to say the quality of care and stimulation provided by the nursery team is outstanding. My son runs into the team each morning looking forward to the love and cuddles, the yoga, the art classes, the singing, building exploding volcanoes, dinos in shaving foam and whatever the team come up with next. Outstanding care by an outstanding team. If you’re thinking about bringing your child in, I’d recommend meeting the manager and the whole team. You’ll soon get a sense of their calibre.

Really helpful staff and great updates. We've enjoyed our time here and so has our little girl. Helpful communication informs, and the staff are always open to doing things that may help her. The best thing she enjoys is going in every day.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for two and a half years and has loved it so much! She’s learned so much and has really developed into such a happy friendly child. The staff are all brilliant and really make the effort to get to know you and show they care about our daughter. We love it so much we’re sending our second child there too soon. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone in the area looking for somewhere.

I think the team at Bright Horizons in Epsom are excellent, they are always willing to go the extra mile to help with anything and my son is very happy there. He loves all the staff and you can tell they genuinely care and make a lot of effort with all the children. The app for the parents is incredibly helpful and always lovely to receive photos and updates of what my son is up to each day.

The manager is excellent and leads the team well. The staff are all kind and professional. The nursery seems to be always looking for ways to improve and develop to help the children grow and learn. I really recommend this nursery!

Honestly, trying to not get offended by how much he loves it there, would highly recommend that nursery to any parents. The carers are really warm and engaging.

The manager and her team are fantastic, caring yet professional and both of our children have been so happy at Waltham House Day Nursery. Our son is now in the pre-school room having started in babies at 10 months old and our daughter spent four years at the nursery also before starting school herself. Many of the current staff (including the manager) have cared for both our children who are 5 years apart. I believe this continuity of carers and low turnover of staff is due to the incredibly warm, supportive, engaging and fun environment the manager and her team have created. This last year has been so challenging, but the team have continued to provide the highest level of care at the nursery adapting seamlessly to the ever-changing rules and keeping parents informed every step of the way. We absolutely couldn't have asked more of the manager and her wonderful team - thank you so much.

Excellent nursery - would highly recommend! My daughter attended this nursery when we first moved to the area and loved it and my son has been in attendance for nearly 2 years now and is also very happy. He joined when he was 10 months old and whilst it took him some time to settle, the staff were fab with him and made him feel comfortable and safe. The whole team (from baby room to pre-school) are friendly and very caring of all of the children. The management have responded fantastically to Covid-19 and always provide updates to parents. As a parent you always feel a little guilty about leaving your child at nursery, but you can rest assured that they are in safe hands with the team at Bright Horizons Epsom Waltham House.

Both of our children went to Bright Horizons Epsom Waltham House and we can't recommend it highly enough! Teachers are very caring and our youngest usually runs to nursery as he really enjoys it. Amazing nursery with amazing management team!

We couldn’t be happier with the care that our 18 months old is getting in the nursery. We were very anxious when he started a couple of months back, however, he settled in so well and everyone has been absolutely amazing. Our little one now absolutely loves going to the nursery and he has developed so much since he started. The communication between the parents and the nursery is great, we are being updated on daily basis about what he has been up to and I love it that my little one always comes home super happy and with something new he has learned throughout the day.

The teachers and management at Epsom are always so friendly and clearly love what they do which makes it so much easier to send my little boy in daily! Thank you for everything you do.

I can’t recommend this nursery highly enough. My son recently left to go to school and it was a sad day for us all as he loved the team so much. However, his confidence and happiness in starting school is almost wholly due to the amazing work and development he had at Waltham House. Our 2-year-old daughter also attends, and has done since she was a baby, and again she skips in every day. The effort and thoughtfulness of the team settling the kids back after lockdown was exemplary and made both the kids and parents feel so much more at ease in these uncertain times. In addition to the lovely culture created by the team, the parents are also great - supportive and kind. We love Waltham House!

The staff are amazing and consistently offer a variety of opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills. My son developed good quality relationships with the staff and he settled in very quickly. I would highly recommend this nursery.
