The Bright Horizons family is a very warm and inviting one. Their environment and staff are friendly and welcoming, which was the push for my choosing them as a school for my daughter. Since being there, she has been excelling and developing very quickly. She is happy to be in school and happy with

My son has been going to Bright Horizons in Epsom for almost two years and the improvement in all areas of his development has been fantastic. His speech, independent play, manners, social interaction to name just a few.
They are a wonderfully caring team who genuinely take an interest in each child
and how they are progressing against developmental criteria, but not just that, they provide the comfort and safety that you hope your child would when they are away from home.
The activities that they arrange for each week are always topical and/or interesting and immersive for the children - my son comes home talking about the solar system and weather patterns that I know he hasn't learnt with me!
All in all, I am extremely happy with the level of service from Bright Horizons, Epsom and wouldn't hesitate to send my youngest son there when the time comes, or recommend it to any family/friends.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough! Wonderful, caring staff who have nurtured two of our boys and are about to have the 3rd. The kids love it and I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing nursery that I know look after my kids like they were their own.

All three of my children have attended Bright Horizon from 9 months old and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are all wonderful, kind and you can just tell that they care about the children. The children love their key workers but as the staff turnover is low they know everyone, which makes for a lovely
atmosphere as everyone knows all the children’s names and make them feel welcome. I don’t know what I would do without the nursery- thank you!

My son has loved this nursery from day one. He has been going to the nursery from 10 months old and is now 2.5 years old and still loves it. He has formed a wonderful bond with his carers and friendships with the other children. He has flourished throughout his time there, his development has been supported
massively by the contribution from the Bright Horizons team. The carers are very warm, caring and personable with regular communication throughout the day and constant activities to support with learning and development -cooking lessons, yoga, science classes, art etc. The garden area is also brilliant, lots of space and activities. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My review relates to the 'Nursery' room (up to 3 years old). While I recognise the comparatively high price of this nursery, I have to say the quality of care and stimulation provided by the nursery team is outstanding. My son runs into the team each morning looking forward to the love and cuddles,
the yoga, the art classes, the singing, building exploding volcanoes, dinos in shaving foam and whatever the team come up with next. Outstanding care by an outstanding team. If you’re thinking about bringing your child in, I’d recommend meeting the manager and the whole team. You’ll soon get a sense of their calibre.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for two and a half years and has loved it so much! She’s learned so much and has really developed into such a happy friendly child. The staff are all brilliant and really make the effort to get to know you and show they care about our daughter. We love it
so much we’re sending our second child there too soon. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone in the area looking for somewhere.

I think the team at Bright Horizons in Epsom are excellent, they are always willing to go the extra mile to help with anything and my son is very happy there. He loves all the staff and you can tell they genuinely care and make a lot of effort with all the children. The app for the parents is incredibly
helpful and always lovely to receive photos and updates of what my son is up to each day.

My boy loves that nursery, he keeps saying the carer's names at home and even sings songs about them at home!
Honestly, trying to not get offended by how much he loves it there, would highly recommend that nursery to any parents. The carers are really warm and engaging.

The manager and her team are fantastic, caring yet professional and both of our children have been so happy at Waltham House Day Nursery. Our son is now in the pre-school room having started in babies at 10 months old and our daughter spent four years at the nursery also before starting school herself.
Many of the current staff (including the manager) have cared for both our children who are 5 years apart. I believe this continuity of carers and low turnover of staff is due to the incredibly warm, supportive, engaging and fun environment the manager and her team have created. This last year has been so challenging, but the team have continued to provide the highest level of care at the nursery adapting seamlessly to the ever-changing rules and keeping parents informed every step of the way. We absolutely couldn't have asked more of the manager and her wonderful team - thank you so much.

My daughter has been at the nursery for just over two years now and I've never doubted that we made the right choice in choosing this nursery.
Every member of staff is kind, helpful and caring (not just those who work directly with her). She's created lovely bonds in each of the rooms she has been
in so far and also with the management team who work in the front office. It's like a family looking after her, and all the others.
She's made a lovely group of friends there and the nursery have also made sure to keep them together, even through the 'bubbles' resulting from Covid.
The support the nursery have given during this unprecedented time has been outstanding. I couldn't recommend them more.

Excellent nursery - would highly recommend! My daughter attended this nursery when we first moved to the area and loved it and my son has been in attendance for nearly 2 years now and is also very happy. He joined when he was 10 months old and whilst it took him some time to settle, the staff were fab
with him and made him feel comfortable and safe. The whole team (from baby room to pre-school) are friendly and very caring of all of the children. The management have responded fantastically to Covid-19 and always provide updates to parents. As a parent you always feel a little guilty about leaving your child at nursery, but you can rest assured that they are in safe hands with the team at Bright Horizons Epsom Waltham House.

We couldn’t be happier with the care that our 18 months old is getting in the nursery. We were very anxious when he started a couple of months back, however, he settled in so well and everyone has been absolutely amazing. Our little one now absolutely loves going to the nursery and he has developed
so much since he started. The communication between the parents and the nursery is great, we are being updated on daily basis about what he has been up to and I love it that my little one always comes home super happy and with something new he has learned throughout the day.

The team at Epsom Waltham House have been incredible throughout my son's time at the nursery. They have responded to COVID incredibly.

I can’t recommend this nursery highly enough. My son recently left to go to school and it was a sad day for us all as he loved the team so much. However, his confidence and happiness in starting school is almost wholly due to the amazing work and development he had at Waltham House. Our 2-year-old daughter
also attends, and has done since she was a baby, and again she skips in every day. The effort and thoughtfulness of the team settling the kids back after lockdown was exemplary and made both the kids and parents feel so much more at ease in these uncertain times. In addition to the lovely culture created by the team, the parents are also great - supportive and kind. We love Waltham House!

Finally the perfect nursery for my daughter, after a horrible experience at another Nursery.
She absolutely loves this nursery, and is very eager to go to the nursery every day.
All the staff were wonderful and we were confident our daughter was in good hands. They were all cooperative and friendly,
and the kids' safety and well being was given most importance, which is exactly what every parent wants.
We were able to see a big change in our daughter in just 2 months, compared to her previous nursery. She is learning new things every day, is more confident and most importantly happy.
We get a detailed report every day and there are plenty of activities, and a good selection of menus. The kids are accustomed to eating a variety of food, which is important for evolving taste buds and for good nutrition. The care was excellent from her key persons, especially at times when she needed more attention.
I would definitely recommend this nursery, lucky to have found this place!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have been in child care for 15 years and I am level 3 qualified. I started my journey at Bright Horizons five years ago as a Room Leader, Progressing my career as Third Charge. I then transferred over to Epsom Waltham House and became the Deputy Manager and most recently have become the Manager. I am passionate about providing a safe and secure place for children to learn and develop and grow within our nursery. I have a lot of experience in working with children with special educational needs and I am the SEND coordinator for the nursery. I like to ensure that I have strong parent partnerships in place at the nursery.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

My name is Nikki, I have worked in childcare for over 20 years. After completing my level 3, I went on to complete my BA honours in early years education. I have specialised in SEN for the last 10 years. My strengths are dealing with challenging behaviours, and helping parents and staff understand how to understand these behaviours.


Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a range of settings working my way from nursery nurse to preschool manager. I then moved to portage and focused on my passion for working with children with SEN needs. I am excited to get back into a setting and work with the new team at Bright Horizons.


I have 2 sons, and lots of animals at home. I love spending time with them all.
